I had a problem in updating my kjam
i try to update the kjam it says
"ERROR [294} Invalid Vender ID
This Wpdate Utility Cannot Be Used For Your Pda Please Check Your Update Utilty"
the problem is that the language is diffrent and i dont know which language it is i want it in english so i try to update with the newest version
from imate official site and it not working
is there any way that i can convert it to English Language
is there any English Language Patch For That Please Post It

Hi there,
Have you actually got an I mate k jam? Or is it a variant?
I had a mda vario a variant and got that error initially? But then I used the wizard unlock tool, this abled me to unlock my CID, I was then able to install the kjam official rom upgrade.
I would reccomend you locj your CID, then you will be able to update. There is whole thread on it under the unlock tool thread. About the second age.
i got the i mate k-jam when i soft reset it shows me the i-mate screen
the handset is not locked i am using my sim card
Very strange.
I would try and download the rom again. Also use the cid unlocker just in case.
where do you people get the I mate ROM's?
I have a vario but can't seem to find the ROM.
I've allready SIM unlocked it allready.
can someone PLEASE help me get a ROM?

I have a iMate pocket pc, and I updated to 1.72 wwe, I found my ppc has serial v1.06! I dont want the V1.06 because I want downgrade to CHINESE version. But I tried to flash it through sd card, it didnt work! I urgently want use chinese , anyone can help me to change my iMate 1.72 wwe to chinese rom( i have chinese rom already)???
Note: mine is v1.06( I heard this version can not downgrade),,but i still want to ask anyone who may have a idea!!

quite easy . use er2003 to edit , the chinese rom to WWE I/O CHT , t-mobile i/o O2, and upgrade , i did several times..fm Chinese to english , english to Chinese

I need help to upgrade qtek 9000. I had bought this pda three days ago. There is installed the german version of windows mobile 5.0 . How can i change the rom to have a english version? Cause i try to use the JasJAr WWE 11353 version of the Rom, but the program stop itself and write that the version of the rom is not correct. Where i can found the correct version for my qtek? How can i change the language, cause the software error is: Country ID error 120. Many thanks

my T.Mobile is now of Chinese Simplified test version(Dopod 900), can anyone please tell me how to update it to English version? I downloaded the WWE rom from this site and it showed country id error, I urgently need the solution for this problem, thank you very much!!!
You can search in this site Maupgradeut_noid.exe, it can upgrade your t-mobile to any language you want but you have to upgrade it using bootloader method
I found the Zinc Eng WM6 Rom already, but is there any brother can teach me how to flash the rom, since my Zinc is chinese version, when I start the Eng Rom, it will prompt "Cross Language" and then can't upgrade, please help!!!
Now I was fixed it, change the Rom from chinese to english. Thank you for mazi_v help.

Yes. I download the English Rom from mwg. But my device comes with Chinese version no it normally does not allow me to flash it to different language version. Please help if you know some special procedure to flash to different language version.

It's no problem to install any cooked rom but if
I try to flash the original HTC WM (English, German) then
always the same error occur.
