i thank you for your help in unlocking my t-mobile pc pocket by sending me to
"http://wiki.xda-developers.com/". it worked like a charm...the next question i have is that now that i have unloked my phone and installed the rom they recommended..how do i change my themes....i synced the devices..i have them on my pocket pc..it will even show on my theme list but when i set it..nothing happens, it stays on the xda theme...please help...

good news is that i got the theme to work...bad news now is that i cannot see the fonts on the main page cause the letters are black and theme is black..how do i change the font color on main page and program page and start menu..
it's a part of the theme
you need to use a theme genrator to alter the tsk file'

I just find that I can't use any today theme(tsk) other than those ones included in the ROM. I copyed a new TSK file into Windows folder, and then go to Start>Settings>Personal>Today>Appearance, I can find the name of that theme, but when I selected it, nothing happens! Whatever the current theme is, it'll go to "Windows Default" theme if I select any new theme other than those included in the ROM! It's weird because I just hard-reset my Jasjar and didn't install any other applications, so it's not a third party application related probelm!
Is anyone experienced the same problem? and any solution will be appreciated!!
No one has the same problem? Maybe is a hardware problem...
Try putting the TSK file in My Documents

Strangely enough, but some work and some don't. No idea why this is.
I have attached 2 that are working. The black one goes very well with the JJ

Good question ! I don't know. I got these TSK Files at the SBSH Forum (Pocketbreeze) which I am using on my JJ.

I know this thread is pretty old now but I had a similar problem getting this to work. Try deleting the space between Black Panther, it worked for me.
I had the same problem !!!
I think it was with the Helmi Aku 3.2 or 3.5 ROM
don't know why, I could just select a theme but it would always be stuck on windows default.
I eventually flashed it with a newer rom, never had the problem again.
Hi guys and girls,
Just thought i'd share with you my own go at creating a custom font for the Touch HD.
I was getting bored of the factory font and wanted to spice it up a lil... I tried other custom fonts that are floating about but wanted something pretty clean and crisp and not a headache to look at!!
Anyway I have provided the .cab for easy installation.
Installation Instructions:
For .cab installation, just save the cab to your device (I saved this in a folder on my memory card).
Run the cab from the folder you saved it too and during the installation it will ask where you want this to be saved... select "Device".
Once this has installed, it will then prompt you to reset your device. Do this and HEY PRESTO!
If you want to go back to your normal font, then go into the system settings then "Remove Programs" and remove the font which is listed in there, it'll then prompt to reset device... once it boots back up, all resorted back to normal fonts.
I hope you guys like this and if there are any questions then please don't hesitate to ask.

I've not noticed any difference to be honest, runs the same for me. I guess it's a case of try it and see what you think

Manila customizer comes with a cab file. I think you need to install dotnetframework on ur cell.

Thanks for the help dude, I have just tired it again, it runs, but it does not have anythemes only icons and clocks.
There is an option to restore your theme to original default and the default is the black manila you had asked for. Select current manila theme and reset to rom default. For this option to work you need specific rom to be installed. Manila was installed for me when i flashed my rom so resetting to rom default bought back my original manila.
Just for your info you dont have an option to select themes from this application its only for changing clocks, icons etc

i try to install the .cab file..it's sucessfully..
after restart, my device font was change (love it)..but i try to change the home screen it's error..error said "the layout you selected cannot be loaded..please select different layou..bla..bla.."

Remember that this was made for the excalibur, tha snap is another phone.. so this cannot work properly.
is it matter if my wndows version and scrren resolution is same..?

I have recently bought HTC HD and was tring to make it look better by searching for good themes but I'm totally confused how to apply them.......Please help me with following problems.......
I have followed all the steps mentioned in this forum for installing .theme files........
- I downloaded Diamond_TF3D_Config_Setup_v0.6.7 and installed it
- Created "Themes" folder on my phone memory and copied the "XXX.theme" file to this Themes folder.
- Opened TF3D Config and clicked on "APPEARANCE" tab and clicked on PATH and selected the "Themes" folder where my "XXX.theme" files is present but I could not find any names in Select files dropdown menu of TF3D App

Manila is just a name like sence in htc hd2 I know it is very confusing that HTC,but if you go in the WIKI you can see how many different kinde of htc is on the market your's is Manila 2.1,the taskbar what you want its easy, all you have to do is you phone to allow the battery in the taskbar, you have two possibility's, first you can do it with a App, secound you can change it in the registry,if you don't know how to do it ask I can provide both,with you themes, tell me where would you like to but you themes,maybe I can show you a easy way and the right app for it,the icone-soft theme extension,I don't know what you mean? the easyest way to upgrade you phone with different WM's or radio's and ROM's is, go on this page to the top and hit WIKI, in the wiki go to you phone, on you phone page you will finde everything you need and like to change you entire phone, it is all very nice explaind.
