WM 6.1 in PTB

Anyone knows if it exist ?

I'm assuming PTB is an abbreviation for Brazilian Portuguese. As with Spanish and just about every other language, the only way to get WM6.1 localized is to get it from your cellular carrier or the phone's manufacturer.
I'd suggest talking with rickwyatt to see if Windows Mobile is as easy to localize as more enlightened operating systems.

For now there is just a "generic" HTC rom for PTB.

Yeah, as far as I know (from what I've searched and asked) that's the current status, and there's no wm 6.1 version, only wm 6.0.

A while ago, Ricky started a thread of how to cook your own ROM. I was trying to translate Ricky's ROM to spanish but I had no luck. It took several hard resets to finally give up. I think (and sure it's applicable to all languages) that the translation has to do something with .mui files and folders. I got them from some ROM in spanish but then I had no idea of how to put them all in an installable ROM and finally working. I think it would be a great idea if we all try to come with some tutorial of how to do this. Any ideas will be welcome.

No bugs found yet related to the swedish language.
A bad thing with HTC is that they do not have the swedish KB layout on the full qwerty or phone pad (åäö) is missing.
To get åäö on the full qwerty replace the PQwerty0d1d file.
KB layout for English and the four scandinavian countries exists in this version.

So, would installing this switch my phone's UI language from English to Swedish? I'm looking for "full" Scandinavian accented letters support in apps and keyboards, but with English as UI's language.

Just installed it on my HTC Diamond, works perfect, thank you very much. Was easy to install, just follow the instructions,

Yes, this'll turn the entire OS into swedish... Regarding you question, WM6 WWE already has support for scandinavian lettering, and you'll be able to get swedish T9 support and qwerty from here

Hi Nomad. Yeah, thanks, I'm aware of that thread and those tweaks. I ran them on my UK-bought Diamond and it worked, sort of. Wasn't a 100% success, have no idea why, but the UI and keyboards act a bit oddly. But never mind any more, since I noticed that some kind soul has uploaded a stock Finnish ROM on the net. Yay!

Is there any chanse you can fix this so a newer rom like the one in RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE-ME_1.93.456.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship
is in total Swedish?
Why would i not wanna use the Normal Swedish one?
Well for example try the one i posted out and compare it to the swedish one. Well To hand it out It kicks the 1.3.7 on ALL terms.
Speed on Menu Battery saving well everything.
It realy makes the Phone feel more alive. Like a stone was lifted.

No, I'm not going to do from that base since I already finished one from CE OS 19965 build 20273. First upload will be nearly like the stock one but the next release will be a lite version just like my WWE Not 2 Lite one. I'll upload the first one today for user testing before going into the lite version.

My main computer has broken. Sorry.

Sorry to say that I won't be releasing a ROM based on 20273 build as mentioned since I found some bugs in it. I'll be looking into releasing a new one based on 1.93.831.1 older build (same base as my GM360D.5 Not 2 Lite) after I fix my computer.

Still waiting for my new PC. When I get it, I'll finish SVE one and build one WWE for own use. No more public release after that since there's so many cooked ROMs out there and can't catch up also with many newer builds coming out.

Since there's an official release of ROM 1.93 SVE version here, do you still need a cooked one?

Generally it should be called EzInput****.cab (I guess Ezinput_1_5_317666_0.cab)
I sow several requests for that already - no answer yet.
The target - WWE ROM with RU/EN input method.

dx - my favorite ROM. However there is no Russian EzInput, (English, French, German and Italian only).

If you need english/russian kbd , better use someting else:
vgakey,resco.
Or if you would try to remake ezInput for it, I can help by package from russian rom only:

Will be in the sources of "NATALY" kitchen. Tomorrow. As separate package.
Install it to present "EU" EzInput is the wrong way. You will need to recook the ROM.

It's not the latest 2.0X but a very good one that I have on my Diamond now.
But I hope alphazero (A.Z.T.O.R) will make a new one.

That is a very nice and good ROM that you link to and i used it for some time, but as you said its not 2.0X...Im looking for a newer Swedish ROM that i can break up and pick out the mui files and cook a new one.I think all of us Swedes would like to have a 2.0X ROM with the latest OEM and apps included =)

The only problem is that there has not been a Swedish stock release of 2.0x that i know of, and therefor the mui files would have to be translated manually...and thats a bit more work then i can handle.

[Q] Can you make a kitchen for build 21057&

Hello all!
My cooking skill is too low for building rom based on build 21057 for HTC Trinity. May you (community) help me with this? I want wm 6.1 21057 for my p3600, i'm trying some times to *cook* this, and all times i'm get black screen or non-bootable device. Can anybody make this for me?

i´ve same problem. I try cooking an another Build but i think it´s same problem.
My steps i choose:
1. Dump last rom in OSKithcen-> RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_3.00.707.18_6275_1.46.30.11_108_Ship
2. import an rollup
3. change some settings (but i think i don´t know the right settings)
4. cook it
5. and flash (but it stops at 0%)
What is wrong? Can anyone help us? pls

I have not been very active on here for a while, but I just noticed your posts. Here is a completely stock OEM Kitchen with 17944 as it's SYS, and then I've imported 21057 into it also. You can open both working versions using the Open Project button. It's using osKitchen Zero.
I have not added any extra packages or modified anything, it's just straight. I also won't have a lot of time to invest in helping, but this should be a good stepping off point to start from.
I'll try to monitor this thread a little bit, but like I said, I cannot give much time at the moment.
I just flashed 21057 to my Trinity, and I have to admit, it runs pretty darn good. It has around 25MB Free Memory and 34.5MB Free Storage. If you use LZX compression when cooking, storage should increase a bit.
DOWNLOAD
You will find the Kitchen (2 Parts) and a fully working 21057 in case you want to try it first. The Kitchen is a self extracting file, Run Part 1, and the ROM is a Self Extracting and easy to flash file. Just put your phone into BootLoader Mode and double click the download, then follow the instructions.

Trinity runs a lot much better with 6.1 roms. I'll give it a try SuperSport.

Fingerkeyboard 2.1 (installed myself)
Google maps

I'll tell you about the battery performance during the weekend.

ZIP is actually for Zip and Unzip of files.
Midlet is for Java Applets
Those both are part of the Stock ROM, so I left them there.
That ROM I posted was more for proof of concept, and not necessarily one I figure anyone would use full time, although you can. I just wanted to be sure it would flash and run and hopefully be bug free so people could take the Kitchen and work from it. At this point, if anyone likes the basics of the ROM, I've also posted the Kitchen so it can be modified any way the user likes.

I've downloaded the kitchen and i don't understand much of it. I'll see some tutorials including yours and make a final rom for me haha.

Can you send me a download link to the Roll-Up you are trying to import? I will try to create a Video Tutorial showing how to import it.
The Wi-Fi error I am not seeing on my phone. When I turn it on, it immediately asks to hook to my home network. Does it work if you go to Start, Settings, Connections, Wi-Fi, Menu, Turn ON Wi-Fi?
PS: Your language is fine. I understand you very well, much better than some.

I am impressed that you did the WiFi fix. It can be a bit difficult, but you did it without asking how. Good Job!
I'm downloading the Roll-Up you linked to now and will get a video shortly. I'll post a link to it here when it's complete.
EDIT: Ok, I ran into the same problem as you did. The Kitchen imported the Roll-Up just fine, but when I tried to build a ROM, it would only show 0409. What I noticed is that in the OEM packages, there is one called 'OEM_Lang_0409'. When I make a copy of this package, but rename it to 'OEM_Lang_0408', it now shows two languages available to cook. The problem is that the package is still 0409, but I only changed the name. I don't know what would happen if it cooked that way, maybe it would be ok, or maybe there would be english mixed all through the ROM? I'll be giving it a try and report back...

I have not cooked in a while. I want to get back to it, but a lot has been happening in my personal life. For the time being, I've been enjoying my Samsung Focus WP7 with Mango. Cooking takes more brain power and time than I have been able to give it lately. I'll be back.
