Hi all
I´m writing an article about the XDA history and wanted to ilustrate it with an old XDA picture, I remember there was a picture somewhere where the original headquarters of XDA was shown but I can´t seem to find it.
Any other old picture you have saved please let me know!!
Thanks in advance

Hello everyone... Any new/used phones, etc., for sale on xda?... I have looked all over for a link for devices for sale, new/used, I know there must be some phones, etc., for sale on the xda site somewhere, I think it is probably staring me in the face and I just keep missing it... turning into a phone addict like everyone else here, now I want to add more toys to my collection, or at least just see what is out there... and it seems that I should maybe start at xda, where everyone has multiple phones... any help is and will be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!...

That's right, but I think the Marketplace will not be visible until the OP has 8 posts or more.

No selling on XDA anymore.
Use Swapa.com

The market place was shut down long ago, and this thread can be too.
Use swappa.com, not XDA, to buy and sell. It's against the rules here actually. :good:
Today after reading the XDA portal, like I always do in the morning after checking my emails.
Something came to my mind, asking me where you will be if you didn’t know about XDA & XDA great Forum members.
After remembering all the hassles I went thru, the problems that I was able to fix, the time that I had saved, and the new experience I gained, By following XDA members Guides, Posts, and News, I decided to go back in my memory to remember:
(every post that had benefit from, any guide that I had followed and didn’t press the thanks button because I was in a hurry or I was so happy to have my problem fixed, any good article that I had read before and gave me a new information, or any XDA TV video that I liked……….etc….., anything that helped me with my XDA experience)
And push the thanks button for that.
In order to keep the good work, and encourage all the good aims, I am inviting you and everybody to spend 5 minutes from your time, and thank those members that you forget to thank.
Thanx XDA.

Sounds good to me, I am going to go back to the start hunt down the devs for the HTC Magic and thank those bad boys... and thanks those that helped me before the thank button was even there...might take more than 5 minutes mind you xD
I just open those posts I would like to thank in a new browser tab and do it when I wake up the next morning.
There is no thanks button for XDA TV videos also.
I think it would be a nice idea to add that, because there is no difference between a usefull post and a usefull video.
Do you agree with me?

That is actually a good idea. I might do that myself too.
This is saying that I'm limited to 8 thanks per day. That's just odd.
You can "thank" more with the XDA or Tapatalk app even if you've run out on your browser.

blasphemy!!
THANKS !!!!
Thanks a lot XDA !!!
I tried the XDA app again, and it's a piece of crap compared to the 2010 theme, and much, much worse than the 2013 theme. I only find it better than the classic theme.
Just as the title says
For me it was 3 years ago after a google search when i "bricked" my new LG Optimus 2X (hey, it was the 1st dual core when it came out...) trying to update it... didn't take long to solve that
My defy is my computer. & with any computer u want all u can get from it been on since 2010 and xda is still my #1 go to for any & all info i may need. & XDA motivates me to get a new phone to try other mods/techniques not available/applicable for my defy. XDA ROCKS!!!
I came across xda while looking for fun things to do with my Omnia... wow... that was awhile ago
I meandered in while looking for android developer forums on Google. <3 XDA only I have just now been getting around since I no longer have all the "Noob" Limits on my account. Good Feature but its a pain in the ass if you have a question you need asked.

I know... Its to control the spam but if you come on xda with an urgent question, yeah that's kind of keeping you back...
I was lucky enough that in my 1st visit to see what i can do to revive my LG optimus 2X, there were already enough posts on that, that i didn't have to ask an actual question to find the answer
That's the beauty of XDA imo :good:

I just wanted to get more from my Htc Touch HD. Not only calls, sms and web browsing. Then i started theming. Since then XDA was my nr1 web page. Four years later i'm still here and i'm not going nowhere. Thanks to all those peoples i've learned so much about "phones" but not only. Thank You XDA

Almost all searches to most of my queries on Google that where related to Android (and some times Symbian back in the day) usually leaded here... I'd pop in to lurk every once in a while to find out about rumours and more specialized apps quite often over the years.... Eventually one day I really felt the urge to reply to a couple of threads and decided to register (as well as asking a couple of questions of my own. ) That's it in a nutshell.
