There are symptoms there that suggest a battery or battery connection problem. Hard reset by all means but if problems persist, I think I'd be trying a new battery.

I follow the instructions to reflash the original rom, I chose the HTC EXCALIBUR 1.33.422.1 (windows mobile 6 WWE ), but the problem cotinues
I work with this thing and is really annoying to miss emails and phone calls
plz help, any idea is a good idea.

I already made a search about this problem (I am not so newbie ) but I cannot find any problem like this.
but now you mentioned it, some times the battery has a strange behavior, some times is fully charged, a few minutes after show only 20%, if I reset the dash the battery shows 90% ..... maybe is time to a new battery pack
yah it is a problem with the dash as i experienced it as well...as soon as the new battery came it did not do that. if you check maybe your battery has swelled just a tiny bit...as that is what happened in my case even though i did not drop it in any liquid.

A new battery should sort it out but some members have had it current after not long getting a new battery, take a look @ first couple of pages, there ia recommended batterys in a thread.
Good luck

It's all in the search criteria
Battery request give you an idea as to what batterys we using
Stick a bit of card between the battery back and back of case, if the battery is malformed then it may just be a slight contact issue worth a try. "might get you by till new battery"

I had an issue like this with my rooted device. I found that connecting it to a pc via usb, leaving it for 2 hours then try worked. One its on hook it up to the mains and all should be ok.
Can i assume from the thanks this worked?
Ι said thanks for your readiness to help.
I didn't try to find out if your method is working for me.
I want from expansys to replace and give me a total new device, so i thought that if your tip is going to fix my device it would be much more difficult to convince them to give me a brand new phone becauce i have sent them (probably) a working device!
Obviously i didn't have this in my mind when i opened this thread and asking you to tell me how do you think i manage to turn on my ONE X
Any way thanks for help!
I erased everything from my one x and was stuck in bootloader mode and while i was trying to solve it the battery overdrained. I've tried to charge it with different types of chargers, even let it charge all night, but it didnt react. Not even the notifier led flashed. So i took it to t-mobile and they've charged it with a special charger and i was able to see the bootloader menu. I've asked the guy to charge it again so i could run the ruu on it. But when he brought it back, everything was the same, no reaction for anything. Of course they've rejected to repair it because it was rooted. I even bought a new battery, and put it in, but no luck. Im desperately need help on solving this. Any idea would be appreciated.
Thanks

I wanted to respond to your first post, but failed to force myself to do it. Now it's also a pain, why? I could think about your problem, I probably could even tell you what's the problem, the thing is I can't, I'm not magician, I can't read tarot cards, I don't read future (or somebody problems) from a crystal ball, or some animal intestines. I do not communicate with spirits or satan himself to do so.
So please If you require assistance in technical matters, be specific, describe what you have done, or tried. What was phones reaction. Details, details, details. When You WILL describe what have you done, or tried I will try to help, before that I won't waste any more time thinking about possible problems.
P.S.
Sorry for the tone of this post, I simply am tired of unspecific help requests.
Afnanshareef,
Phones usually shut off, some people say, "Die" at ±3.2 volts and won't reboot until they get sufficient charge. Not sure whether you replaced he battery a year ago or haven't charged/used it for a year. Try a separate wall charger that you can place the battery in if you have, or can borrow one. That will bypass any phone circuitry and might charge it. I have other suggestions to revive a, "Dead" battery, even if it is way down on volts. Do you have a DMM (Digital Multi-Meter) that you can see what the voltage is? Any corrosion on the contacts or leaking? Post again if you still need help.
