Does anybody know how I can increase the time of voice recording, now it is only possible to record around 4 minutes, but I think it should be possible to increase this time with a registry tweak. I don't know how the registry works, but I think there a lot people here on this forum who knows more about it, thanks in advance

Hi Fellas, wonder if you could help me out.
Done a search, but to no avail on this one.
My XDA Orbit loudspeaker has gone distorted on speech lately.Music is fine but speech such as MS Voice command and TomTom sound distorted at high volumes.Seems like the volume is louder than before, like the gain has been turned up or summat.
Anyone know where loudspeaker volume level in the registry is?
Maybe turn that down a couple of clicks may help.Anything so I ain`t gotta change the speaker!
Thanks in advance.
Anyone know where loudspeaker settings are in the registry?
Anyone? ???
Maybe this will help. Not investigated it myself, but maybe worth a read..

That`s very helpful.
Cheers buddy!
How did you get on? I have the same problem, which settings did you use if you got a good result.
Still playing with it at the minute.Definately alters things using the values from the Wizard registry.
I`ll post my final settings when I crack it.
To all,
I am very happy with LVSW WM6 v2.0.1.1. Everything works fine except of an incall volume which is quite low and can't be adjusted. The speaker volume is very low. And this is in the contrary to Skype or Win Media where it's pretty loud.
Does any one know how to tweak the registry to get the incall volume higher?
Thanks in advance for help or an advise.
Trinity incall volume
Perhaps I should ask my question differently. Is there a way to tweak the registry so when my Trini receives a call the volume would be all way up and not 1/3 down which is too low and one can't hear much. I guess this is a default setup but adjusting the volume every time some one calls it a pain in the neck.
Any ideas please...
Yeah, Is there any means to make the volume of this rom higher. A registry value or a cab file will do.
Thanx alot
That's exactly what I mean. Just a registry value fix. But don't know how.

Anyone know how set accounstic parameters works?
I am trying to adjust the fact that full volume on the Phone via the speaker is fine, but then when I listen to music via the wired headphones, I have to turn it dwn to say 35%, then I get a call and volume jumps right up to max and it sound slike the other person is shouting right in my ear.
(Ok that is probably the effect the wife is trying to achieve, but even so....)
I was wondering if this can be achieved by tweaking the set accoustic parameters files.
The first hurdle seems to be that a different file is used per operator - how do I know what my operator ID is?
If anyone can help or make any other suggestions I would be most grateful.

Anyone? (Please)
see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=348329
doesn't really help and relates to bt headphones?
Bump? Anyone?
OK really no one knows anything? Just give me a few hints about how this all worls and I will tr and find time to play around with it and work out the rest.
IIRC set accoustic parameters runs on the first setup ? Does it run each soft reset ?
Any info would give me a useful starting point.
Cheers

Hi everyone im gonna get my Htc touch pro2 tomorrow, and I wanted to say that if there is any app or tweak for the microphone, because soon I will be attending university and I needed the microphone to be tweaked or enhanced so I can record the lectures.
Is there anyone who can help me?

There are two things worth trying. The first is turning on/off the automatic gain control (settings->system->agc) and see what is better. The second is checking whether the microphone on the headset provides better quality than the one on the handset.
The device's noise cancelation does not work in the situation you described.

Buy Resco Audio Recorder...it has GAIN and it has NOISE REMOVAL.
Noise removal removes alot of noise to make lecture easier to listen to.
Gain makes the voice comprehend-able.
As long as you make the correct settings for the program.
Your lectures and discussion and laboratories will always turn out perfect.
Too bad the dual mics can't be used for that. Was hoping to use it in the exact same way when I got it... Oh well, I might just call my home and record the call in order to make them kick in
Or ask my friend to let me call his cell, put him on speaker, and ask him to put the mute on so it'll only record my end of the speaker phone call
Thats a good idea
Yeah, except that it will drain the battery like mad. Good thing it's rated for a very long talk time.
Also remember it will incurr call charges. My plan is great and I don't have to worry about that. But some people do.
I have been using this cyanogenmod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1861623 for a looong time, it's perfect but the microphone records at a very low volume, I have searched the forums but couldn't find anything, this also effects recording videos etc.
I have tried two programs that actually worked (only for recording audio) first one is asr mp3 recorder (by nll) second one is the smart voice recorder (by andrey kovalev), what they do is they disable agc and I was able to increase microphone gain, but I need to increase the gain for calls that are being made as the person I am talking to can't hear me (very low volume), is there anything I can do to change gain multiplier or disable agc completely? maybe writing some things to terminal to override these values or installing some software?
thanks in advance.
