How to save a number from calls log to existing contact

When somebody calls me from the number which I don't have in my phonebook and after that I just want to copy that number to existing contact, there is no option for that.
Only ==save to contacts option==.
Can someone help me to solve that problem.Anyhow.

what i do is..right click.. click on send a text msg...copy the number from there by highlighting.. and then copy it to the existing contact LOL..well got to live with it

yes I know for that, but I can't beleive that is the only solution!..... windows
there must be some application to install which could solve that problem, but I can't find.

"My text" SMS text ROM editing

Hi,
I'm trying to edit the ROM to change all phrases in SMS's "My text" and I can't find in which file they are included. Anyone can help ?

1) check .rgus
2) check .provxmls

Nothing in provxmls, and not found with a fast check in rgu's.

wm6.1 dash - how to copy and paste text?

is this possible?

yes depending what feature you are in trying to copy and paste.

try vito's "copypaste".
I find it very handy, althought it doesn't work in every app....

6.1 has a copy and paste feature. Y have him download a program. lol

Well, Mikey, I thought the 6.1 copy and paste feature was restricted to some of the MS apps that come bundled with OS and not system wide...
If it's not, would you be so kind to teach us how to use it/enable it system wide?

Guys in 6.1 you do not really need to enable it, it is built into the ROM if you are for example in a text message and have written a whole bunch of stuff that you would like to copy click the "menu" button the click "6 copy/paste" then "select text" select the text then click menu again and click copy and do the same for paste. Hope this helps

Verizon MMS Don't Work

I upgraded to the nfsfan 6.5 v6r2 on my xv6900. got gps to work but cant get mms to work. I have installed the verizon mms cab but do not understand the directions for after install it on pg.238 of the nfs thread. it says
(* Install the cab provided in the link below, then after install go into the Connections,
and delete everything there. After that is done, open Advanced
Config, press Menu, and press "Import provisioning XML".
Search for mxipupdate_oemoperators_102.provxml, and import it. Soft-reset, and MMS
should work.)
whenever i try to send any pic or video message it says failed delivary. before i installled the mms cab i didnt have the option to send a pic or video. the options were greyed out and unclickable. so i thought installing the cab fixed it because all the options for sending mms became clickable. but i still get a failed delivery. the directions look very straight foward and im sorry for not understanding what to do exactly.
could someone walk me through this?

You should go to Message Centre setting in your phone and input the correct number from your network provider.
This is usually set automatically if you install the correct csc file in pre-Configuration setting. For details see here.
