I'm trying to edit the ROM to change all phrases in SMS's "My text" and I can't find in which file they are included. Anyone can help ?

2) check .provxmls

hey guys, anybody know how, to dial letters? (ie, 1800-LINKSYS) i was soo frustrated yesterday when i was on the road and had to dial letters; i had to call my wife at home to tell me what numbers to dial!! so if there is any program or anything, let me know please, thanks

install the alpha-numeric cab on the phone. it should show you the keys when dialing.

yes depending what feature you are in trying to copy and paste.
try vito's "copypaste".
I find it very handy, althought it doesn't work in every app....

Well, Mikey, I thought the 6.1 copy and paste feature was restricted to some of the MS apps that come bundled with OS and not system wide...
If it's not, would you be so kind to teach us how to use it/enable it system wide?

Guys in 6.1 you do not really need to enable it, it is built into the ROM if you are for example in a text message and have written a whole bunch of stuff that you would like to copy click the "menu" button the click "6 copy/paste" then "select text" select the text then click menu again and click copy and do the same for paste. Hope this helps

You can use them as let's say "Quick Bookmarks" if you don't enable the push funcionality

You should go to Message Centre setting in your phone and input the correct number from your network provider.
This is usually set automatically if you install the correct csc file in pre-Configuration setting. For details see here.

How can I change that names?

If yoy want to change it you must find proper lines at strings.xml and edit them. This is known problem which is caused by touchpad fix (i think).

EDIT: I found a solutions, I edited XML Strings from framework-res.apk AND ALL IS OK!!! .. Thanks!!!
