no dude ... its a vanilla version
no additional stuf... whatever you want you will have to install it for urself
Seems to me that Ivars rom is a 'vanilla' rom where Helmi is more features....
Would be user preference then.
If you search about you should find some of the apps.
Looking forward to trying this as even though Helmi's ROM is great I don't use alot of the extra apps.
YEAH.... I AGREE... helmi's is a amazing rom but then its always better to have assorted softwares... according to ones likes... any idea about the smart dial functioning ??

Uhh sorry my fault. Now its corrected.
There are no extra apps, because i want to know how stable it works. Extras are added afterwards, when the rom works really good and stable.
Smart Dial
This doesn't seem to be working on this ROM either, I really need this.
I can see your point about not including software if people don't actually want it but most of that included in Helmi's are pretty useful especially VGA.
Icons are only pretty but it is good to see a change from the standard ones.
As Smart Dial doesn't work I can't see how people will want to use 3.5 at all, stable or not.

Just a warning, but nothing big...
Although I allow everyone to cook ROMs based on my work, I warn you about the fact that my new ROM is still in beta phase, I still have a lot of things to correct or improve, there are still bugs and could be unstable (even if nothing big was found in my last Beta excepted sound settings pb). I don't say that this ROM is not for a daily use, only I didn't finished it yet so I can't give you any guarranty.
at least give shaps the credit, your rom is totaly based on the work he did.

Now, you MUST have HardSPL INSTALLED before you can install this ROM.
(and no i dont know if it works with the dollypro version, as i dont want a $700 brick)
Now back to the issue at hand, i have cleaned out the HTC ROM and removed / changed the following
AutoUpdate (as this will NEVER WORK)
Replaced .Net CF 2.0 with 3.5 (Massive Speed Improvement)
Removed the WelcomeCenter (no one uses it)
Removed the sample music
Tweaked the RAM allocation
Enabled HSUPA (disabled by default)
Enabled the usual SecurityProfiles (RAPI etc)
Removed that (gay) HTC startup jingle
Specs
Free RAM on first boot is 60MB
Free Storage is about 90MB
(and this is only the start of things to come!!)
A speed improvement by at least 30% (i reckon anyway)

i left the gplycache at Auto and the same with the FATFS as i've been testing this for weeks and modifying those values seems to cause some stability issues with the diamiond, so i worked on the RAM allocation and running processes, but this is a work in progress and this is only the first release of MANY!!!

However, this also means that Hard-SPL Developer Edition will be made available *TODAY*

Installed without issues as well. seems fast. I'm not getting the free memory of 60mb, only showing 47mb but I didn't check before activating activesync exchange so that's probably about right.

That would be great. I've moved away from MS Direct Push (because it's gay) - been using Intellisync for the past week and would also like to try my company's BB service to see which is best.

not much to tell except the above, looks good, but I don't believe in touch flo of any kind on a hermes, where the screen has got edges .. and the RAM is never enough to run these sorta things. ... have fun I am sure his dish is very delicious ..

I have installed that rom right now, lets test.. in a couple hours i give you the feedback.
I installed this yesterday. Nice rom. Very fast. Had some registry tweaks to change....Could not get the new MMS, http://rapidshare.com/files/14771847..._70_24_QVGA.7z to receive. I could send MMS but not recieve. Also it put Verizon MMS settings in my Registry. Like most of these Manila Roms, you run out of memory too fast. He does have a new program in there that lets you pick a time that will automatically reset your phone thus you get your memory back up. Another A+ ROM from PhamQuang

You have to go into settings/Phone/Band.... and set "Select your GSM/UMTS Band to Auto.

Working fine for me.
It's my attempt to make clean, fast and stable rom close to official like I do for Prophet. This rom based on the latest Diamond 2.00 rom and 20757 build from HD. I'v been tested a lot of builds and think it's optimal choise.
Characteristics:
- OEM 2.0

- New dialer with keys lock
- Modified battery indicator
- Performance and powersaving tweaks
- Removed: YouTube, ZIP, MP3Trimmer, RSSHub, Acrobat Reader, Streaming Media, Voice Dialer, Java, Power Point, Help, Images, Ringtones and others
- SYS cleaned
- Activesync popup fixed (no more fake server needed + asynckiller installed)
- Black theme and splash while booting
- Only original (WWE) input methods
HardSPL needed!

For all users of P750,i cook this Rom in EN(Iam from Czech Republic).I have in a plane cook a lite and Full Rom.In this Rom works without problem HTC plugins and programs,i have tested: HTC Audio manager and Today plugin,HTC Task manager,HTC Home next works Xcpuscalar and TCPMP.In Vsbenchmark 07 i have about 150 points more than in Offic.rom and Sorg Base 0.09 rom.I Have 28/29mb free ram.

Have been running for week without any major issues, M2D works well although a tad slower than the last rom i had from PDAMobiz.
Only niggle has been propensity to drop in and out of E/3G/H, strange as I would have thought that was a radio issue although I have not seen it with other roms and have been in the same location.
A good rom that has not needed a soft reset for a while.
Just about to flash to JEromes latest and test that - cheers.

And yes if i have some new OS build for QVGA,i have been cooking next better rom.
PS:I hate VGA resolution on P750,because i have 64mb of ram memory on 2.6 display is nonsense have VGA,and i have a most aplicacions for QVGA resolution.

This is the best rom I've ever tried it is fantastic the speed is incredible.
I never had any hang up even using opera 9.5 couldn't freeze my pda.
I have successfully installed manilla 2d and it looks great. I swear to god I was about to throw this **** and buy a different device. Thanks to you thompson I really can appreciate my asus p750.
every time I soft reset I'm impressed by the boot time, the memory is huge compared to before and it is not draining.
the only inconveniences are the Cyrillic keyboard and some Russian text(dialing rules).
Is there anyway I can use English layout for the keyboard as the default layout?
I'll keep posting if I discover something else.

OK. I think You use Barin WWE Kitchen from asusmobile.ru - I see same bugs with dial pad which I wrote on his topic - no buttons on PIN input screen and dialpad. How fix - don't now
I don´t use Pin codeI test it, how i have P750 at home...for me is not important.
I found what wrong - in SYS missing packet Phone_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320.
If you add this packet from any kitchen - it's be OK!
