Using Orbit as a bluetooth cordless mouse - P3300, MDA Compact III General

Hi guys!
According to the tech specs of the Orbit, it should support the bluetooth HID profile which means that I can use it as an input device for my computer/laptop.
Do you know a software, so I could use the trackball of the orbit to operate as a mouse on my computer?
I had that preinstalled on my SonyEricsson W800, so I can navigate on my computer using the navigation stick of the mobile.
Now with the trackball of the Orbit that would be the perfect bluetooth trackball-mouse.
Any ideas?

BlueAngel as wireless keyboard?

I think I've posted this question before (or am I dreaming?), but somehow, I can't find my original post
Is it possible to setup BA to appear as a Bluetooth input device (kbd/mouse) to a computer? That would mean to make it a HID-compliant device.
To re-iterate, I'm not interested in connecting external kbd to BA, i want the BA to be the keyboard for desktop computer!
Bemused is not quite what I'm looking for -- it's only for music and it's not native to Windoze Mobile.
Any ideas?
Mucho gracias!
OK, I think what I need is Bluetooth HID service on the phone.
I've applied BT patch from XDA-developers FTP and now in BT manager I have options to connect High Q Audio and External Keyboard, but that's about it.
Does anyone know which BT stack has it?
I have 1.40 Rom (WM2003) and Widcomm bluetooh
1.0.0 3900
thanks

Bluetooth HID Client for WM?

Hi!
Do you know a Bluetooth HID Client for WM5 or WM6?
I'm talking about a piece of software that lets my artemis act like a Bluetooth Mouse or Keyboard so I can control any device that supports bluetooth mice and keyboards (as a windows PC)
also i wanted to ask if theres a good ressource on which stuff can be done with bluetooth.
HID is just one of many applications.
what about using camera of artemis as a Webcam for PC?
Or what about using the artemis as a monitor?
would be cool... i guess!
thxalot
just dreaming of Arte as wireless
speakers, screen, webcam, mouse, keyboard, remote music control, sim card(?), data storage ...
already managed to use it as a GPS receiver with GPSGate.

Bluetooth mouse

I have a stowaway travel mouse made by 'think outside', that I was using on windows 6.1 on my TYTN II with no problems.... however, I simply cant get it working on the Touch pro 2... I was wondering if anybody out there have got a bluetooth mouse working.... I have narrowed it down to something to do with a different bluetooth stack in touch pro 2.
anyone?.......
See if you can find info on other recent phones that use the same BT stack as the TP2. Might be some info there specific to your mouse.
edit: this post makes mention of a BT mouse, no detail tho: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4259761&postcount=2

Connecting bluetooth mouse

Hi and happy new year to all,
I've got a logitech bt mouse (the one that come with the keyboard - MX5500 revolution).
I've been trying to pair the arc (v.4.0.2.a.0.42) by this procedure:
- starting the bluetooth (phone)
- make the phone discoverable (phone)
- putting the mouse into pair mode (mouse)
- scanning bluetooth devices from the phone (phone)
- Pairing with mouse (code '0000')(phone)
and then in the screen appear the screenshot attached
so does anybody encounter this problem and how to solve?
does the arc support bluetooth mouses? which ones?
Use BlueInput. Android doesn't have native Bluetooth HID support.
Does not work, I've just installed the blueinput and cannot make it work as a mouse
Maybe you need to connect the receiver

microsoft intellimouse explorer for bluetooth

Hi,
I'm trying to connect the microsoft intellimouse explorer for bluetooth to the xoom.
Unfortunately the xoom BT requires a passkey to be entered to pair the device.
The Microsoft mouse is not using a passkey to pair.
What am I doing wrong?
Any workaround for this?
i have tried to enter 0000 or 1234 but did no pair.
Please HELP
Thanks
MS and Targus mice su**s.
Maybe 0123?
found this thread with some numbers, but they didn't have any luck either. May be one of them will work for you. good luck.

I too have one of these guys, if we're talking about the same one its the very first BT mouse that MS made, soft touch blue with a silver dongle stand and a matching blue dongle? I read somewhere that it came out before HID profile was finalized so it relied on intellipoint to tell the dongle to initiate the pairing process. Mac guys had problems with pairing until they updated the software to include the mouse so i'm inclined to believe that explaination. If the device doesn't have the ability to pair without using a passkey, theres no way to pair the mouse as it has no passkey in it. I've tried the usual keys on my transformer as well as TP with cm9 and 2 evos all to no avail.
If u can't get that one to work for u, I use the Microsoft Bluetooth notebook mouse 9000. Works great!

i also have Microsoft Bluetooth notebook mouse 9000 and it is working fine.
Hey! Just found a solution!!! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jpn.frontia.waka.Bluetooth
Worked on my Samsung N7000 and BT Genius mouse:
1.Install app and open it
2.Make BT devices search and find your mouse
3.Push single button on the top of application screen
4.Little message apperes below like "ChineseSymbols!"
5.Turn your BT off and on
6. Take a look at you paired BT devices
7. PROFIT!!!

I can confirm it works on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Btw, the app is in Japanese not Chinese. After you clicked on the mouse in the app to pair it you will need to go to the settings of the mouse and use it as a pointer.
