headphone jack busted. Where to get it repaired? Please Help! - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

When I insert my headset in fully, sounds get garbled/Distored, cant hear voices. But when I pull it out slightly it seems to work again. So Im assuming this is the headset jack problem. Does anyone know where I can get it repaired if it needs it?

[Q] broken headphone jack

hey all, I know there is quite a few threads about the broken headphone jack issue, my left earbud wouldn't work in my phone but worked in my laptop, iPod etc.. so I ordered the replacement part and replaced it... yet the left earbud still doesn't work.. Anyone know what the issue could be or do I just have a loose wire maybe?
Thank you for any help.

Headphone Jack Issues

My headphone jack on my tablet is shorting out. I can only get audio if I wiggle my headphone cable. Is there a way to fix this? Or does anyone know if it's possible to change the jack all together? I was wondering where I can find a part.

I had this problem on my phone, and it was the same with my old walkman headphones, yet they worked fine on the PC. I bought new headphones and they work perfectly. So not quite sure exactly, maybe the socket on my phone is a little loose, and on my old headphones the metal on the jack plug had worn down enough to cause problems. So maybe different headphones might be your answer.

Headphones problems

So I've been having problems with headphones and more accurately the headphone jack port. Some headphones just don't work with the phone but work just fine with others, I usually get that Google voice thing when I plug it in. Did LG use some cheep headphone jack here ?! Anyone getting the same issues ? Please let me know !

Headphone Jack Audio

I've been searching around and couldn't find an answer to this issue. Whenever I plug in my headphones the phone doesn't recognize that they're plugged in. Music just plays through the speakers. I've tried cleaning the port with compressed air, completely replaced the charging/headphone Jack, and installed custom roms. Nothing works. If anybody knows a fix I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me. Thanks!

Hahaha OK just thought I would post a fix in case someone else is having the same problem. Literally just take your headphones in and out of your headphone Jack until it fixes. Worked for me.

Problem when inserting external earphones and microphone

Hi guys,
I've got this phone quite recently, and got this problem right away.
When I plug in my earphones with microphone included I'd say that 80% of the time, people can't hear my voice. They do hear a high-pitch sound, going over my voice. This happens on call, while recording audio, on what's app...
So my guess is that's a jack-connection issue. I don't have another pair of earphones or external mic to try with at that time. But I was wondering if this was a common trouble? Should I look into getting other earbuds or look into fixing the phone?
Thank you,
Probably just your headset..
Is it the one included with the phone?

I did not receive a headset with the phone no. This is one I bought previously, Symphonized NRG 3.0.
Not sure if it would help but try cleaning the earphone jack with a toothpick. Dust and lint usually get stuck inside the jack.
