Hi!
I have two phone numbers assigned to my SIM card which can be called from outside without any problem. Both numbers ring the same SIM
But how can I switch between them when doing a call? I know this feature from Sony Ericsson mobiles where I have "line 1" and "line 2". Is there an application to do that? Or is there a built-in function? I am using Schaps 3.57a Windows Mobile 6 ROM.
Thank you!
Haven't used it, but maybe this app does it?

Try the demo and see...
Hmmm. It seems that this software would do what I want, but if I understand it right, this is for Smartphones...
I have a HTC TyTN, so I'm not sure if it runs on my phone. I also do not really need all the other stuff, so it would be great to find a small piece of software which simply does the part of "Twin SIM Switch" of SmartTweaker.
Thank you!
isnt there something to control what line you are using from the sim menu?
I used to have a sim menu on my mobile phone but I missed it when changed to JASJAM WM5. However I upgraded to WM6 (Official Dopod) and now I have a sim menu in STK service where I could switch from one line to the other with automatical call fwd.
The only thing I have, is a SIM-Manager in Programs, which is mainly for managing SIM-contacts. There's nothing like a SIM menu :-(
I have STK Service in Programs menu and when I click on it a sim menu provided by my GSM operator starts. I have the following options in this sim menu: voicemail (operator provided), line switch, operator menu, accounts management & customer services. But contents of this menu may differ depending on your operator. Have you ever used your dual line sim card on a a Nokia phone? Have you received your dual line sim card from your operator or get it copied by a third party software by using smart card reader writers?
I do not have such a service in my programs menu. I also have to tell you, that I have a native HTC TyTN without any provider services as my provider does not sell the TyTN.
Ad copying SIM-cards: I was not aware that this is possible. I have an original SIM card from my provider.
Strange things over here...

Well...
I managed to flash my LG KS20 to KissROM WWE, and everythig is just fine...
But under my phone's preferred network settings there are many new gsm networks I dont use and Even if I thick them out or change them in order...it says It couldnt save the settings to the network...
And sometimes (maybe caused by this) My phone changes to roaming mode to another GSM provider which I am not the subscriber of....
Its only just with my Yoigo Sim,
With the Vodafone ES, this problem not exists...
Is it possible to change the preferred networks list somehow from file or from outside??
Or the NV2 holds all that info?
We all know that there's a setting called "data roaming" or "use mobile data while roaming". I'm wondering what is considered "roaming" to the phone? And how does the phone know it's currently "roaming"?
My guess is, the phone considers itself being roaming when the network it picks up is not the default network specified by the SIM card. For example, if I have a Rogers SIM and I travel to US where Rogers network is not available but only AT&T network is available, the phone will pick up AT&T signal, and thus the phone considers itself as "roaming"?
Is my understanding correct?
it's defined by your SIM card not the phone
once you jump carrier you are roaming
Hi All,
I have a Canadian T989D from Koodo mobile which I unlocked using unlock code. I took it abroad to Pakistan and after using for 6 months, one day all of a sudden I got NO SERVICE.
Trying to manually select networks, I come across different networks available but clicking on any one of them results in NETWORK REGISTERED sign but still doesn't connect to any network. When I go into the APN settings, I can see different APN settings for the respective sim cards that I put in. E.g. If I put UFONE sim card in, I can see APN settings for UFONE SERVICE PROVIDER.
Here is the twist though. I came back to Canada yesterday and when I put any Canadian Sim in it (FIDO/VIRGIN), it connects to the network without any problems.
Next, I tried T-Mobile sim in the phone. At first few attempts I would receive NO SERVICE/EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY messages. However, just recently I was able to connect to the network by repeatedly changing sim cards and restarting the phone.
So the specific questions to all of you is that "Why can't I connect to ANY network in PAKISTAN when I can see the APN settings for each sim card I put in?" Is there something I can do to fix the issue? I have a running sim card from PAKISTAN with me which I had previously used to connect to the network. Please help/guide me.
Any response will be greatly appreciated.
I unlocked my VZW g6 play by entering code in settings section to unlock phone (did not insert AT&T sim and wait for code request). It said code accepted but when I put in my AT&T sim I can't connect to their LTE network. It reads the sim, switches to global (gsm), and my network says AT&T with the proper phone number for that sim... But no 4g. I tried inputting the APN settings I found on several sites.. No luck. Same when I copied the APN settings from another AT&T prepaid phone I had available. No go. I called and asked for the APN settings from AT&T and they said I need to change the IMEI number on my sim to that of my g6. They said they did that for me. After power cycling the phone as instructed I still have no data service. Anybody have an idea what settings I need to use in order to use my AT&T sim? Or is that even my problem?
