i have a little problem with flashing my dell. before upgrading on him was wm2003se and i have downloaded a05 version of 2003se from dell web page. i tried to upgrade to wm5 and renamed WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG_nb0.crc to DiMa_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG_nb0.crc and WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0 to DiMa_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0. upgrading boot loader went successuful and after i press wl+pw+reset it starts sd loader but he cant see any os image (WM50_K_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0).
i tried to copy following files on sd card but he only see first image (boot loader image):
WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0
WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG_nb0.crc
WM50_K_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0
WM50_K_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG_nb0.crc
how to make him to run and see os image?

you either need tzhe official Rom-Upgrade for WM5 (dell sold it once, now it may be available on ebay.)
the problem of yours is : you have wm2003se, so you have also the wm2003se bootloader (the dima_b_XXX-files) and just renaming the wm5-bootloader won't help, as it's different. and btw, i think for upgrading from wm2003se to wm5, you need the A00-image - the rest are just updates for wm5.

where could i download these files? i want to back to wm2003, so where i can download boot loader for and OS image fo wm2003?
i have made a backup of my OS but it extension is .RIS and dont know how to recover it, and also have a backup of boot loader of wm2003. what if i just recover my boot loader will it work because after flashing bootloader of wm5 it stop working? how could i use that .RIS file (34MB)?

Just put the files on the SD Card, What have you actually installed? WM5 or 6 ? Then just rename de DiMa_B_ to WM50_B_ and flash as its written on the first post, I think that I put a guide inside the rar. I hope you win
Ah, you can make it using another way too. Go to dell page, support, download drivers... electronic, choose Axim, and X50. There, download the downgrade from WM5 to WM2003SE in your language, the rom I gived you before is the english version, maybe you want another language. Extract that exe with winrar or simply ejecute it, and dont continue, quit, go to c:/Dell... ROM and inside you will se a rom.IMG. Well, you need img2nb0f.exe, to convert the .IMG to .nb0
When you get he .nb0 file you have to create his _nb0.crc Maybe CRC Calculator help you or simple put the files on the SD Card and when you choose the SO image ( _K_ ) it will show you a CRC error, simple copy the good CRC, modify on the file on your PC, and put it again on the SD Card.
I could make it for you (if you dont know what are you doin), if your language isn't english.
This is only if your language isn't english, remember, if its english its more easy and save time, read the post #5

before anything i have wm2003se a01, then upgrade to a05,after that i downloaded wm5 boot loader and renamed WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM2k3SE_EN_nb0.crc & WM50_B_A01_X50v_WM2k3SE_EN_nb0.crc to DiMa_B_A01_X50v_WM5_EN_nb0.crc & DiMa_B_A01_X50v_WM5_EN_nb0. i copy these files on sd card and press wl+pw+reset and he read these images successufull. he asked me to press pw+reset, a pressed WL+PW+RESET and after that he dont want to boot but i can load sd loader (pressing wl+pw+reset) but he cant see wm5 OS image (WM50_K_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0).
now i will then copy on my sd card this boot loader Dell Axim X50v WM5 A02 Bootloader.zip and upload him on my axim x50v, and after that i will start OS upgrade with WM50_K_A01_X50v_WM5_ENG.nb0? is this what you mean?
i want to install english version of wm5 (there isnt croatian version), but i am seems to me stuck on wm2003se...

OK you want to install WM5 English, but what operating system is in the device? Its important to install the correct bootloader with the correct prefix. Then the SD Image Loader will see the operating system ROM.

Not, with WM50_K_A02_X50v_WM5_EN.nb0, I gived to you a rapidshare link with it, and inside the bootloader too, but if you had installed Dell Axim X50v WM5 A02 Bootloader.zip go to flash the SO directly.
When the so image isn't seen by the SD Image Loader, Im sure that its because its something wrong with the bootloader or SO prefix.
At the begining its a chaos, but when you understan how it work, its very simple. And a bootloader change its only needed to change from a 2003 SE version to WM5 or 6 and vice versa, not change needed to change between WM5 and WM6 and vice versa.

First, be sure that you write correctly the name, DiMa, WM50, etc..
Second, download this
Copy it to the SD Card, If the bootloader prefix es DiMa, rename it to WM50, because you already have the WM5 bootloader, and flash it, make a Hard Reset, and go to the SD Image Loader again, you must see the WM50_K_.. Try it

Remember, you dont need to install the bootloader anymore, only if you have problems to boot, or if you want to install wm2003se.
Well, al these roms are older than the A02 RTM, my device has it, work very good! But I only have the original A02 Maglite with the 4mb of page pool, it works fine, now, I changed the page pool to 3mb with PPFE or something like this, is in the first post. More page pool = more fast and estable system, to use with many apps at time, but less free ram, less page pool, more free ram, but... vice versa, I only open 2 or 3 apps, and for now with a page pool of 3mb works fine, like with 4mb. For the firs time install the original 4mb page pool A02 RTM and test.

Friend got a vogue but he "bricked it" he doesnt even remember what he did,
he is very new at this and looks like he did a rom update without doing a radio update first.
i have an HTC titan but i am going to buy this vogue off of him if i can fix it.
so here is the issue...
when u start the goes it goes to the 3 color tri-color boot screen...
it goes right there without even me holding down the power and camera buttons.
i used mtty to get it out of that screen... i do set 16 0 and some other thing i can't remember for the life of me now in mtty
i reboot the phone and now it get the a custom Dette clean rom 6.1 splash screen but it says no Radio and it now just stuck there.
i tried to load the stock rom on a 2 gig fat32 formated flash card and inserted it into the phone. then boot it to the 3 color screen, and it just says no file! in gray backbground then goes back to the tri color screen...
i made sure the name was correct.. i tried "Voguimg.nbh" i tried "voguimg." and just "voguimg" then i tried it in all caps and then all first letter cap then rest lower case...
it is spl-2.01.1000
i think my friend flashed the rom without upgrading the spl as well.
i tried to flast it with sp 2.31 but i couldnt get it to load it. i guess i can't flasth to 2.31 in the tri color screen...
any ideas? any help would be greatly apreciated. spent about a week on this... probably about 2 to 3 hours reading and reseaching daily.

but i tried even the following sprint stock roms:

this gets me to 1% then errors out
and says error 328 invalid command, this update utility can not be used with my phone. please check my update utility... wat

i dont know if the spl has something to do with it but i read the first file i mentioned the stock rom 1.12... reloads the spl, boot loader, everything to original.
I noticed when I first flashed my phone, also xv6900, that when I was unlocking, I didn't fully complete it, and it showed SPL version 2.10, or something along that line.
There is no stock VZW ROM available, so that's a waste of time. I think the first problem is, you have no idea how it got that way. I'd assume your friend didn't complete the unlocking process, then ran the RUU for the new ROM.
I'm not 100% sure, hopefully someone can either correct me on this, or confirm.
You should be ok since you can enter the bootloader. Perhaps you could try relocking it, you would use ImCokeMan's relocker, should be SPL version 0.43. Then you could try unlocking again.
I'd suggest checkin at PPCGeeks, asking in either the general Vogue flashing threads, or try asking ImCokeMan himself.

when i use a sprint signed ruu it says

then in 2 seconds... it says
Checking...
then in a few seconds it says....
Not Allowed...
then goes back to the tri- color screen
ill let it stay at Load... and then goto sleep and see if it finished tomorrow morning before football starts

these instructions do not seem to work me.
he has a sprint phone... he assumes it works for all types but i have a verizon phone... and on a signed verizon nbh file ... it only says loading... and gets stuck there... on step 6... and a sprint rom says loading.. and then says checking right away and then says not allowed in red and goes back to the 3 color screen.
also the poster of this mentions he has spl 2.31... my spl says spl-2.01.1000 which is not .40 .41 or 2.31 (the most comment spl's i have seen referenced)
has anyone ran into these conditions? spl 2.01... stuck, and has verizon.
mine was originally stuck at the 3 -color boot screen... even after taking battery out and putting it back in and just powering on without holding camera-power keys... it goes into the boot screen only...
so i used mtty did set 16 0 and then "boot" and now when i restart the phone it goes right to the splash screen and gets stuck there saying dette's clean rom ... but "no radio" and just stays there.

hi i was upgrading my p3300 rom its almost 90% done but my pc suddenly shutdown now my p3300 hang on startup screen i was try to flash with MMC but its also hang on tri-colours plz plzzzzzzzzzzz give me solution &
It also works ROM update mode (Three colors screen) but when I execute the Rom update frommy pc, it reaches 2/3% and gives different Errors depending the ROM

1. Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer or format it from your computer using a card reader, make sure to format in FAT32 and not FAT although in some cases format doesn't work, also it is only necessary to format if your first attempt at flashing fails
2. Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract.
3. Rename the .NBH file to ARTEIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your microSD card.
4. With microSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Power & Record buttons and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side), keep both buttons pressed after releasing the reset button.
5. You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the volume slider down.
6. Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts. After the flashing process is complete, it will tell you to press any button to continue. After this the bootloader screen with its red/green/blue color is shown. Just reset the device and it will boot the new ROM.
SuperCID devices are able to flash any NBH image using this method.

Not yet, But they need more testers. The Recovery.img for the diamond 100 is here too. All the work is done by (I believe)tiad8 forum. For more info and status of this project, please visit this site (google: Diamond nand tiad8)....

- You must have Hard spl 1.93
-Download :DIAM100.nbh , recovery.img
-flash nbh "usb flash" with DiamonCustomRUU and then pull battery.
-connect your usb then turn on device.wait for fastboot to be enable. you need the latest from myitx V2 for diam100 and 300
-flash recovery,code,fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
-boot into recovery,code,fastboot boot recovery.img

i am waiting that too cause i dont have much time for testing it and then putting WinMo6.5 back (cause i have only diamond). if i put that nbh i will lose all my settings and programs installed on winmo, will i loose internal storage of neofroyo on haret ?

i am waiting that too cause i dont have much time for testing it and then putting WinMo6.5 back (cause i have only diamond). if i put that nbh i will lose all my settings and programs installed on winmo, will i loose internal storage of neofroyo on haret ?

Yep, With a nand Android rom you will loose all your data and setting (not the internal storage only the nand memory). To install Neofroyo properly, the internal storage needs special formats. So you need to put the data and settings after install of neofroyo back on the internal storage.
But I prefer Nand flash because its faster and more stable. If there is a stable and fully working rom of course .

no i know how to install neofroyo but if i istall nbh (as on kaiser i had before) and test it and then install back winmo titanium rom will ext2 (for neopeek's neofroyo) partitions will be saved or formated while flashing rom
hope this will be done soon, because FRX07.1 is very mature, but the speed and batery life is very poor, so hopefully this will be better with NAND Flash.
If someone has more info about current status and maybe an eta I would be glad.

All data and partitions on the internal storage will be saved. Only the Nand memory will be formatted.
and android from haret don't use anything from NAND ?
I tried using the XDA Discord server to get a quick response, but apparently, some people just ignore me or don't even know how to help me. So I will try here...
I was following that tutorial so that I can use Joycon Droid on my phone. I installed TWRP Recovery and gone in his recovery mode. I wiped what the tutorial asked to wipe and began the flash process. Unfortunately, I mistakenly downloaded the flash files on the computer. I tried removing my SD Card and putting inside it the files I need, but TWRP was not able to read any data for the SD Card. So I tried to find a way to cancel the recovery menu, and I did by clicking Reboot System. Since then, my phone was locked in the logo screen. After many attempts, I've gone from the charging screen and finished by the "An error occurred while updating the device software.". I can enter the download mode, but nothing else. My phone is an A520W and I think the root was not properly installed. I researched everywhere without any solution, so I came to this discord server, hoping someone would save my phone. I tried flashing the official A520W OS, but Odin always does a FAIL message or freezes. I later tried to use another firmware file, reinstalled the Samsung USB driver and Odin, and know it says on the Download Mode screen:
SV REV. CHECK FAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 9, BINARY 7. (it failed)
Can someone help me? I really need help!
Your phone partition table is crushed probably!
Use emmc programmer to repairing your partitions! (ask from someone expert)
Also, "easy-jtag" may be useful(search this)

Kay I'll try the easy-jtag, but if it doesn't work, who is an expert at emmc programming stuff?
Is there a way to fix the crushed partition table without buying stuff?

It is dangerous for your phone, because every phone have different partition table and different architecture!
Pit file in a520w stock firmware have partition table structures information. (use PIT_Magic.exe to see)
In old architecture of Samsung(e.g. s3) when partition table cleaned from emmc (phone internal storage), they use micro sdcard to boot from it! (to identity correct info for Odin) (same boot from USB when you are installing windows.) then by going to download mode they flash stock Rom!
But I suggest to you find one knows enough information and requirements stuffs.
