I've recently unlocked my O2 XDA 2 and am using my easyMobile sim card. Everything worked fine, but in the last two days, everytime i ring, after about 1 second of attempting to ring, it ends the call with a "call ended" message!
Has anyone else experienced something similar, and if so how did you manage to fix it?
hi
i've the same problem with my UNIVERSAL - MDA PRO - QTEK 9000
tried with different roms tmobile, o2, orange... but still same problem
tried to unlock with buzzdev tool... but still same problem
please help!!!
howdy folks
thanks for the great site.
ive had my BA for over a year...despite the occassional hangup it works fairly well. however all of a sudden when i try to make an outgoing call other than to my voicemail i get 3 beeps and the call is then ended. the weird thing is that this doesnt happen all of the time and with no apparent pattern.
i cant understand why this is happening as i havenet changed any of the software / network.
please help me !! i'm very tempted to see how many pieces i can break it into with one throw.

That is the behaviour of a network barred handset.
Richard
hey thanks for the reply
however there is no reason for my phone to be network barred ! i bought the phone while on the o2 network, had it unlocked and have been on vodafone for over a year with it working fine. i understand if it was barred it would block all my calls (maybe except vmail). thing is the 3 beeps i get are intermittant and dont happen with every call.
do you think it could be something to do with changes to vodafone and the way the xda works with vodafone. i'm not a techie person, but even this reason sounds unlikely to me.
any further ideas would be appreciated
many thanks

oh yeah...forgot to mention...i've had the phone since new and am the 1st and only owner of it
i get this sometimes also... and i think mine has to do with wm5, but im not for sure....
ok but i'm running WM2003se
is there anything that you do to your mobile to get it to dial out?
does anyone think that a rom upgrade or a radio upgrade may solve my problem?
Please advice,
I recently tried to unlock the o2 xda 2s with the software found in this site, after which I was able to use a T mobiel chip and it was working fine, but now i am unalbe to make calls from a vodafone chip, but it can send and recieve messages. any idea what is happeing with this............
Hello
I bought XDA Orbit on Ebay and now I'm having a little problem with this pda. It's trying to register to network(o2 p&g), when it's finally connected...after few minutes connection is lost(no sevice). I was trying to connect it manual without any result. I can not call or send messages. I have no idea what is going on. What can I do to change the situation? Is there any possibility that phone is locked? Sorry for my english
Hey there people,
I'm having a seriously strange problem with my Touch Diamond. I did search the forum and didn't find anything remotely similar.
Here it is...I'm on a Virgin Mobile South Africa contract, and from yesterday morning I can't send any text messages, it moves to the outbox, and just stays there until I get a message saying message cannot be sent.
I have checked my service centre number, and i is correct.
Now the strange part, when I put my Vodacom sim card in my Diamond It Functions fine, and when I put my 'faulty' Virgin Mobile simcard in my old Sony Ericsson there is no problems of anykind!!
I have flashed several Roms, including Stock Roms, and have tried MTTY, still no luck...
Anyone?? Anything?? Please, this is very frustrating!!
Thanks in advance!!
I Love XDA!!!!
