MDA III Wi-fi, Bluetooth problem - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hi
I need to soft reset my device everytime i switch form bluetooth to Wi-Fi and vice versa. is there any way where i can use both 1 after the other or together without soft resetting?
WM2003SE
1.42.00 WWE
1.15.00
1.42.119
T-Mobile MDA III

have you tried to hard reset / factory reset?
is it happens after you upgrade to latest ROM for WM2k3SE ?
or even tried to upgraded to WM5?
(wishing not something happens to my mda III)

i hav exactly the same problem... once one of them is activated... cannot switch on the other 1... meaning when bluetooth on after soft reset, wifi cannot on until next soft reset and vise versa... irritating... any1 has a clue on how to fix this?

Me too same problem
Using WWE ROM 1.40.

Qtek 9090 and tomtom 3.01 problem

i got a qtek 9090 free operator with siemens BT kit and handfree kit car parrot. every thing was working almost properly if i wasn't too far from my device. i installed tomtom 3.01 on my pda and it was ok until i had to do a soft reset. after the soft reset its impossible to connect my BT handfree ( both if them) . after many tried the only way to fix the problem was a hard reset. i installed all again and everything worked again, but again after a soft reset the problem come back again. look like to be a probleme of compatibility whith some BT dll of TomYOM
any ideas?
I had same problem, but after I installed new BT patch it works fine.
can you tell me wich BT pach you installed, so i will avoid mistakes please ?
You need the Tomtom 3.07 update as you are under WM SE, and you cannot install tomtom trafic. If you have tomtom trafic, remove it and install TT 3.07 update (it is well documented on Tomtom website).

xdalls hard resetting !!!!

Hi there doe's anyone no why my xda11s keeps hard resetting every couple days as its doin my ed in keep setting it back up have had it for 6months'software ver is windows mobile 2003 se version 4.21,1088 (build 15045.2.6.0) only use it as fone most the time & tomtom5 sd card 512 and use bluetooth handset for driving, hope this helps as im takin it back to o2 if not as forums can help most the time & its quicker
Hi,
My blueangel did hard reset few times when I was using O2 ROM ( with 4.21.1088 CE ).
Therefore I switched back to T-Mobile ROM (also 4.21.1088) and the problem was solved.
I understand, that You purchased your Bluangel as "O2 brand". Therefore You may not want to use other ROM than O2's.
You can alway try to use some older O2 ROM.
But I recommend You to take T-Mobile ROM, and customize it (to get rid of T-MOB customizations).
You can always revert to original O2 ROM if you need to return your device (to keep warranty intact).
Good luck

GPRS does not reconnect after disconnection

When I use my GPRS after a soft reset everything work fine but after it disconnects the first connection and I try again, the "G" icon on the top flashes, BA tries to connect but the beast is not able to connect anymore to GPRS. It gives :"Cannot connect for an unknown reason. bla. bla....". I have to reset the radio in order to make it works again.
ROM: 1.40.00 WWE
Radio 1.13.00
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtROM: 1.40.556 WWE
Thanks for any help
Anybody know how to fix this - I have the same problem (same rom & radio)
Thank you
You might want to try updating to a different radio ROM. There is a walk through on how to do this on the Wiki.
My BA does this too, but only in certin areas like around my home. In downtown it works perfect.
i have the same problem
i had tried radio version 2.30.xx 2.19.xx
I think there is no solution, it is just native instability of this and other ROM version(s). Mine is the same. I know people using WM5 ROMs wothout this problem.
Anyway, I put the phone in flight mode, wait some seconds, and turn off flight mode - and then connect again to gprs and it works. This way I´ve been avoiding a soft reset.

Problem with wm6 rom on mdaIII

Hallo,
I've got a big problem with my MDAIII. After the upgrade to WM6 rom my radio doesn't work anymore. I have tried to update the Radio rom but with no succes. Every radio rom update tool i dowload will not work.
I read many wiki's and posts but come no further.
I have read that i have to downgrade to WM3, then update my radiorom and then update to WM6. But the problem is the downgrade roms to WM2003 doesn't work too.
The other strange thing is when i put out my battery and then put it back and startup my pda he says:
R:None
G:None
D:6.11.00.wwe
But when i gave the device a soft reset or hard reset the versions are:
R:1.00.00
G:1337.30
D:6.11.00.wwe
What are the real numbers?
Who can help me?
Sad MDAIII user
Edit:
If i give the device a hard reset and the startup screen give me this info:
R:1.00.00
G:1337.30
D:6.11.00.wwe
then the phone accepts the pin code from my simcard, but after the accept the device gives the message unknown SIM status.
Problem solved. Found a Radio rom that can install in bootloader mode. Or they al have to i don't actualy know.
Can you ponit me to the radio rom that actually works?
I have the same problem, although I install radio updates in bootloader, no one is kept when I remove the battery.
thanks
on WM5, WM6 and WM6.1, when u take out the battery, you need to soft-reset the device to allow the radio to boot.
ive lived with this 'issue' ever since i started flashing roms over my blueangel wm2003.
it's never been a problem...more of a minor annoyance to have to 'double-boot'.
say for example..if I've changed simcards and is switching on device for the first time id have to
1. switch on
2. reset to get the radios recognised
