is there a way to change the information that the caller ID show for an incomming call?
what i mean by that i want to show the nickname for the person for the incomming call
With the current Caller ID it shows first name , laste name and the company
and i want it to show first name , last name , company and nickname

I have saved contact in addreser with 00386.... and when someone call me, don`t show contact name?!? If i have +386 or. just number, without +386 the works(show name)? What can i do? Change all my contact (+500)?

I think i have been messing up with the themes and otehr UI tweaks. Now i have a little problem : i the contact name or phone number doesn't show when i have an incoming call.
I might be because the font color is white and hte background is white.
Any idea how to fix that ? Which manila file or reg tweak i need to do ?

Incoming call - Phone number showing a different type of letter
My problem is that in incoming call and in hd tweak the type of letter is diferent from the original. How can i change it.

Caller Name, Caller number is what required to be changed, That solved my problem. Try it & let me know if I can be of any help, its very simple.

How to show while making a call or when I have an incoming call the organization/company name.
I mean when I have an incoming call the name surname and phone number are shown but the organization/company name is not visible like on other phones (the organization/company name is written under the contact details).
Is there a setting which I missed?

Inside the default phone app from Google go to settings / caller ID & spam and activate caller ID & spam.

I'm looking for a way to manage the informations displayed during an incoming call:
I've many contacts numbers related to my work, and sometimes the surname / first name infos displayed by default is not enough to know who is the person calling.
Relevant information could be, in my case, the company infos (saved in the company fields contact sheet).
Is it possible to manage the display of this information ?
When you receive a call from someone not in your contact list, Google sometimes displays the info of this number when it's known, and in this case the name of the company is displayed!

All I have is a work around - I just make the first name line the person's whole name and their last name the company name.

With tasker and AutoContacts you could create an alert or notification with the relevant information when the phone rings.
If you want the additional alert only when certain contacts call, put them into their own contact group so you can filter the incoming call based on group.
ok it's DIY, but it's better than nothing ... can be a good idea of evolution for Android
