You must have get this question asked several times. I am thinking of buying a t-mobile mda pro, but due to nature of my work i might have to use my Orage simcard in it. SO in a nutshell can this be unlocked i have read about the Lokiwiz02b.zip. Just wanted to make sure if this can unlock the mda pro i wanna get.
Any help would be really appreciated and again i thanks all the people here .

If you read the forum (eq HTC universal) you could read that it is not possible (yet).

I am thinking of selling my MDA PRO as it does not look like an unlock
will become available soon. I cannot find anyone that is working on an unlock, even with many users willing to donate.
Please proof that I am wrong and help is on the way.

Hello guys i just purchased from ebay a p6500 from orange UK. Does anybody know if it is locked in orange network and if so how will i unlock it? (i havent received it yet propably tommorow) also why there is not any p6500 section in our forum since the device is already out in the market? sorry for my bad english.

Dont know whether yours will be locked or not but probably is.
As for the seperate discussion forum there have been a number of requests but I guess as this is targetted more at vertical markets than consumers the guys aren't too bothered.
I agree with you my friend but i think xda developers site since the begining is supporting all htc devices in the market and its quite strange why the p6500 hasnt a thread in this site. I bought this phone even thought i have a touch cruise and i want it for every day usage and not for my work. I hope a thread will be made soon and i will be very happy to help by dumping my rom to the missing polaris and kaiser drivers project.

Hi am a virgin to ppc and windows mobile devices but i bought mda compact iv.
What i need is an idiots guide to unlocking it for either
1. unlocking for any network plus any rom
2. simple unlock for just simlock and use existing rom.
I guess i want to have it unlocked and load it up with the manilla rom or better (open to suggestions)
But i dont want to kill it in the process. If it looks too heavy ill just opt for sim unlock.
P.s virgin poster too so be easy with me lol

Your device is the HTC Raphael (I think). You should direct your questions here for cid unlock (use any rom)
Sim-unlock- you should call tmobile and tell them you're going out of country and ask for the unlock code. Tmobile US is pretty good about it, so tmobile in europe should be ok too.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I have the mda compact iv where as the mda raphael is the htc touch pro . Mine doesnt have the slide out keyboard and is same as diamond only has a smooth case.
In reply to ringing t mobile what should my angle be ? i mean should i pretend to be a tmobile existing customer and ask or just say i got a tmobile locked phone? i just wanna be sneaky enough to have an answer to everything they may or may not ask. And is it wise to have a real tmobile say pay as you go number in case they ask for a number ? what do you think?

Hi there, I have had my touch pro 2 for around 2 years now and have always loved the phone and bought it on contract from vodafone in the UK and live in England - Leeds and was just wondering if I could unlock this phone either for free or by paying? I dont mind paying if thats what I need to do but free would be nice also.
If I can do it for free can you possibly tell me how?
And if not, then can you give me a legitimate website where I can purchase an unlock code from for a cheap price?

i also have a vodafone uk tp2 and to my pleasant surprise found it to be already unlocked when i tried an o2 sim.have you tried another sim card.
