Hi, I used to use Teksoft's FingerTouch keyboard, and really liked that its spacebar was all the way to the left (allowing for less error with hitting other keys on accident) rather than in the center.
i know that in touchpal you can change the arrangement of the keys...does anyone know anyway to modify the htc touch keyboard's key arrangement?
thanks a lot.
for those who r familiar with HTC Tytn ll, we can key map each one & every button for designated software.
Is there any software out there for Xperia to do the same?

KeySwop only for the soft key. I'm looking 4 software to customize the buttons
Oh sorry, right...KeySwop is for the softkeys! But you can remap the hardkeys with windows itself! Start - Settings - Personal - Keys or Buttons (i have a german Rom and there it´s called "Tasten")
Or do you want to change all the buttons, not just the 2 hardkey buttons?

AEButton-Plus for the hard keys on the front.
AEKMap for the whole hardware keyboard - Useful for making completely customized layouts
key swap is fine for me
Hi, I recently installed the TF3D as a panel. However, despite having remapped the two front softkeys using SKTools, it still shows Phone and Camera respectively irregardless of what keys I mapped them to.
Any advice, please?

u can reassign these buttons by:
select settings>personal>buttons. I'm using TF3D 3 too but not as a panel... it worked 4 me
Hi,
I did that for my hard buttons but the soft buttons can't use that method.
u can use advance configuration software then. available on the net for free. but must install msoft net s.ware 1st

re-mapping the softkeys is just what it does, it changes the physical key press action, it does not remap the softkeys on the touch screen, to do that you have to go into the registry and change htc/windows etc. etc.
hi to all xda members,
i recently open up my x1 hardware qwerty to clean. now the keyboard works very well.
but to further enhance it, anyone know any cab / register enable the qwerty keyboard has vibration feedback?
like press a button on hardware keyboard will trigger short vibration of the phone.. silly enough? probably, but would like to try.
I got a nice little bluetooth keyboard for my Slate 7 this weekend, some keys were not working so I decided to build some new keylayouts and keymaps files, I got all keys working by now, but i'd like to add a little something. Those popups you get when you longpress a soft keyboard key(the accents and smileys popups) how can i make them appear when I longpress a key on my hard keyboard??? Must be pretty simple but I just can't figure it out.
