K-JAM_WWE_1010903_106_10110_ship.exe dosent work on my 02 xda mini s its like k-jam and like vario but when i try to update the rom from german to english it say invalid vender id error 294 i think becose its not imate
do anybody here can tell me which rom did you update your 02 xda mini s or vario ? and where did you download it from ? becose i dont see a diffrent rom in the ftp site .
i will be happy if you can post here a link

What are you reffering to the mini? or the Kjam?
Go to teh wizard forum, you will find the unlock wizard intall and run .
then unlock your CID. Once you have done this you will be able to update any rom. And no longer get wrong id.

Also after upgrading your universal you can download Carrier's related file from clubimate which will have the info about their network settings.

i try to update the kjam it says
"ERROR [294} Invalid Vender ID
This Wpdate Utility Cannot Be Used For Your Pda Please Check Your Update Utilty"
the problem is that the language is diffrent and i dont know which language it is i want it in english so i try to update with the newest version
from imate official site and it not working
is there any way that i can convert it to English Language
is there any English Language Patch For That Please Post It

Hi there,
Have you actually got an I mate k jam? Or is it a variant?
I had a mda vario a variant and got that error initially? But then I used the wizard unlock tool, this abled me to unlock my CID, I was then able to install the kjam official rom upgrade.
I would reccomend you locj your CID, then you will be able to update. There is whole thread on it under the unlock tool thread. About the second age.
i got the i mate k-jam when i soft reset it shows me the i-mate screen
the handset is not locked i am using my sim card

I would try and download the rom again. Also use the cid unlocker just in case.
where do you people get the I mate ROM's?
I have a vario but can't seem to find the ROM.
I've allready SIM unlocked it allready.

i have tryed to unlock with all lokiwiz programs and get no joy see attachment if it helps i have also tryed the xda unlocker but i get a error message saying it cant unlock this model.

I would assume you will need a pc which has both chinese as well as english characters (fonts) installed first. Never had a font/regional issue but to note my zinc does not show chinese, nor japanese as regional options (it has approx 85 regional options!).
Mabe a pc running chinese region with english installed can upgrade via activesync (in chinese). Maybe it's the other way around ??

I don't understand. I think No install Chiness in my PC can't effect to Uping Rom. Because I want to up wwe ROM to my Chiness ROM.In Up rom processing, it displays only english so Chiness is unnescessful. Have u up an other ROM with different Regional, ex: wwe <-> CHT

I update the rom to Zinc II VER 010 WWE 230 0825, and now my phone doesn't work. It says "Can not turn on for an unknown reason". I'm in Venezuela with Digitel TIM GSM system. Any suggestions?
