but I don't know how to up this wwe ROM to my Zinc II. The regional is different with my PPC. Please help ! Big thanks!
I would assume you will need a pc which has both chinese as well as english characters (fonts) installed first. Never had a font/regional issue but to note my zinc does not show chinese, nor japanese as regional options (it has approx 85 regional options!).
Mabe a pc running chinese region with english installed can upgrade via activesync (in chinese). Maybe it's the other way around ??

I don't understand. I think No install Chiness in my PC can't effect to Uping Rom. Because I want to up wwe ROM to my Chiness ROM.In Up rom processing, it displays only english so Chiness is unnescessful. Have u up an other ROM with different Regional, ex: wwe <-> CHT

I update the rom to Zinc II VER 010 WWE 230 0825, and now my phone doesn't work. It says "Can not turn on for an unknown reason". I'm in Venezuela with Digitel TIM GSM system. Any suggestions?

Hi Guys,
I am trying to get BlackBerry working on my XDA Orbit.
I upgraded via the SPL Method and then installed the Version 2 of the Black&Blue.
I then upgraded to the latest GSM Rom 02.93.90
As I could not get BB working I wanted to now install the German o2 Rom as Users reported they got BB working with this.
I again did the SPL Method but now always at 3% the German O2 Rom stops and gives me the Fehler / Error 244
Any hints ?

Iv got an o2 UK XDA Orbit, works fine with the B&B V2 and V3 rom. Also installed it on my uncles orbit last night, his works fine too.
What problems did you have with the rom? Maybe i can help?

1) IF you have key unlock CID. Sync PPC to PC and Run key Unlock CID.And Update German 02 Rom.
2) Run USPL v0.1 by Pof and Update Again German Rom.

i've problem with my pda , its use Chinese Rom version , but i'm not Chinese , how can i upgrade for my PDA with English Room , thx 4 ur support

I can't, it's because I was register my zinc to o2 website, and it found that my device is a chinese version, so that they don't let me to download english rom.

You can find the WM6 ROM here: http://www.mediafire.com/?emlzgjtsvrv (WWE version, I got it from seeo2.com and upload it to the other host for easy downloading.
But be careful when upgrading cross language (like ur case, upgrading to wwe version from chinese version). Pls do ur research of how to upgrading cross language for Zinc.
It's just a warning, sorry I can't help more because I'm a newbie and have no experience of upgrading cross language

Another question about WM6 upgrade for Asus Jupiter aka XDA Graphite aka v1210 / VDA IV . I have read about the WM6 upgrades for this device. There are different questions you may answer (if you know;-)
Facts:
1.) I have a German Vodafone VDA v1210 / VDA IV with Windows Mobile 5.
2.) I like this smartphone very much - so i would like to upgrade and keep it
Questions:
1.) Which language Files are included in the original O2 UK update ? (English for sure - what about German?)
- I found an original upgrade on Vodafone New Zealand Site - but any hints about installed languages - except English of course :-(
- I also found the upgrade on my-xda.com , but I canot download because of OEM Vodafone Hardware.
2.) Would it be possible to flash the O2 Firmware on this device ? ( my first ASUS Hardware based Smartphone - HTC has CID Lock in most cases) ( 1 Year ago I flashed my XDA phone with an Original Qtek 8310 update - it worked fine, although missing Hardware like WIFI in XDA phone)

You can find the lastest rom for Zinc on seeo2.com (register required), or you can download the WM6, WWE rom here

Please note that it's WWE version, and my Zinc is wwe version too before upgrading. So if your current ROM is not wwe, please look for the method to flash rom cross language before trying this ROM.
Sorry I can't help more because I have no experience in upgrading cross language

I found the Zinc Eng WM6 Rom already, but is there any brother can teach me how to flash the rom, since my Zinc is chinese version, when I start the Eng Rom, it will prompt "Cross Language" and then can't upgrade, please help!!!
Now I was fixed it, change the Rom from chinese to english. Thank you for mazi_v help.

Yes. I download the English Rom from mwg. But my device comes with Chinese version no it normally does not allow me to flash it to different language version. Please help if you know some special procedure to flash to different language version.
