Does anyone know if the 0506 code works for the Corporate install with the O2 1.40 ROM. If not does anyone have the Corporate install code for 1.40?
Cheers
Yes it's still the same code.
Excellent Thanks

Hi all,
I couldn't unlock the new ROM from Siemens A.30.09, radio A.33.02, Protocol version 1.3.3. Using XDAManipulator it showed SID lock <NONE>. However when I inserted a non ATT SIM it asked me for unlock code. I've tried to reverse back to the 2002 but XDAmanipulator couldn't detect any lock either. I don't know any clue.
Thanks

Try installing xda developers special edition rom 1.2.
installing XDA developers Special Edition ROM 1.2.
Thanks! I've tried it and XDAunlock could unlock the phone. It took me some time to do SD flash of the 1.2 and then upgrade to the latest ROM. It work with Cingular SIM now.
Good for you, glad to be of assistance. 8)
Hi,
Anyway know where I can source an O2 Exec ROM that works with the No ID ROM installer (MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe)
I got my Dopod 900 converted from Chinese to English because this site had the JASJAR_WWE_11353_137_10402.rar file available which included all the ROM files and the installer that allowed me to bypass the country code errors.
However that file seems to no longer be available, I'm keen to test out the O2 ROM (in corporate mode of course), but both the ROM here and the one available from O2 seem to be .exe's which I've tried and both give me the country code error.
Has anyway here experienced the country code error managed to get the O2 ROM installed?
Could you let me know how you did it please?
Regards
Michael
Hi, I have an Orange SPV M2000 PDA, but have changed the ROM to V1.40.242 from O2 to try to get the XDAIIS_AppSuite_V2002 installed. However, no matter what ROM I use, I get a "Wrong ROM Version" error. I had to install the O2 ROM upgrades using MAUpgradeUT_NoId because the machine was originally from Orange (& I get a country code error if I don't). I have used a few different ROMs, but still no luck, it doesn't say which ROM version it needs, and I think the problem may be my using the Upgrade Tweak? Has anyone found a way round this problem?
Thanks, Ellen Reid.
Having already used the O2 XDA, O2 XDAII and the O2 XDAIIs I have been spoilt by O2's ROM updates via their own website.
The problem I have is that by changing to Vodafone I now have no facilities via the Vodafone website to do the same. How do you update your ROM if you have a Vodafone V1640?
Would appreciate your comments

If you love O2, you can flash the O2 ROM onto your Vodafone Device without problems.
Just use the search button on how this is done.
Thank you. I am a little concerned that the O2 ROM will erase my Vodafone settings as well as conflict with Vodafone protocols. I understand that the ROMs will have the same Microsoft Mobile 5 updates but also embedded are the phone company's unique settings and addional programs.
Do you know whether Vodafone issue ROM updates and if so how do you obtain them?
Thank you for your help and assistance
Why do you want to change the rom, (is there problems with the vodafone Rom) and what other programs are on the Vodafone Rom that you would loose.
As for settings you can enter all settings anyway into any rom as far as I know.
There is nothing wrong with the current ROM. I just want to stay up to date. New ROMs normally (and I say this tongue in cheek) have improved facilities.
The O2 site does not allow my V1640 (or in the O2 case XDA Exec) to be updated by their ROM as the IMEI does not tally up as being an O2 valid product.
I guess it's back to the drawing board for my quest.
just add the number 3 right before the .html and even if u dont have a correct imei, you can access the site of O2
Thank you. I will give that a try.
Will it erase all my Vodafone settings?
All Hard Resets / Full ROM Upgrades erase everything. I believe some roms have CAB files with operator settings. Download the Imate ROM, Install, then look for the VODAFONE .CAB file in the extended ROM, copy it to PC, then Upgrade to O2 ROM then run the CAB file that you copied to the PC

OK, I have first CID-Unlocked my MDAcIII, then I have installed the WM6 Update of O2 Germany.
http://www.o2online.de/nw/support/downloads/software/xda/xdaorbit/index.html
After the Update, the branding and TomTom gets installed.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. CID Unlock means that you can Install other ROMS on your Phone, SIM-Unlock means that you can use no other SIM-Card. The MDAcIII is NetLocked, so you can use just T-Mobile cards.
If that wasn't your question, please ask again
