could anybody explain if there are any issues concerning compatibility between different roms of certain brands, please?
I have an early T-Mobile MDA Pro:
ROM-Version: 1.12.43 GER
ROM-Date: 08/23/05
Radio-Version: 1.00.02
Protocol-Version: 42.33.P8
ExtROM-Version: 1.12.127 GER
Due to poor reception I am about to update radio rom
but bothered about that compatibility issue.
In the ftp site there is some jasjar stuff,
but may I use that without giving a weekend getting it working again :roll:
Would be nice, if anyone could get some advice.

I can t find a web site for upgrading my belgium qtek.
Does someone know when the windows mobile seconde edition will be available in belgium.

I don't think the SE will be available but the latest ROM (1.66) should be available at an official Proximus reseller.

You can also use the T-Mobile ROM, as I do.
It recognizes Base as Base and not as Orange, like the Qtek ROM does.

Hi guys,
I got an unlocked O2 XDA2 with a WWE O2 2.02 rom and radio 1.17, i need to make it work on belgian proximus network.
phones works ok but it seems The sms does not work, when i try to get in the phone setting it says phone not ready.
Any idea a rom i can use on it ?
i also need internet connexion parameters and mms if you got so for proximus.

Hi,
I upgraded my Qtek 2020 with the roms from xda2jojo.
If you just use his nk.nbf and radio.nbf, you can upgrade to rom 2.06 and radio 1.18, while keeping your original extended rom.

i ll try to install an english 2.06, i dont really care about the extended rom version. I just need to get it work properly with proximus sim card.
By the way can you provide me the configuration for the internet acess and mms acess for the proximus network ?

ExtRom 1.10.124 WWE
At the moment there are no updates for the XDA2i but there is rumours of one in the pipelines... if its true or not remains to be seen but we can only hope, I hoped that helped.....

It sounds like you have a higher ROM version than the O2 UK XDA2i Sanden.
Mine is
ROM version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM date 01/27/05
Radio Version 1.03.00
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM Version 1.11.144 WWE
but that's cos I'm using the iMate 1.11 upgrade ROM on it.

i would like to know a few things.
is the camera quality improved?
does it still have the wm player 10?
and does it still have the zip
software?
and does the bluetooth work perfectly?
cus blue angle had lot of crackling in the bluetooth.
please share you're experience with us about the upgrade.

Please my friends, help me to fix this.
I bought a QTEK 9000 in France and i've problem to change my ROM to protuguese. Allways have a COUNTRY ERROR and i don't know how to fix it. I've changed all ready to 1.30.68 WWE Radio 1.09.00 and ExtROM 1.30.153 but it is a JASJAR. My memory looks weaker and i don't install anything yet. Can anyone help me??? :lol:

Is it true that the radio version thats will work best on you Universal is determind by your operator?
I have T-Mobile (NL) and 1.09 and 1.13 did not work at all.
I found 1.10.03 works best. (Not perfect, but best)
For all those Dutch T-Mobile Users:
1.11.00 Works Better then 1.10.03 ....

Someone somewhere say so but anyway i've been in benelux and germany using radio 1.13.00 and I haven't had problem.
