MDA Compact T-Mobile Unlocking Problems -- Help, please!!

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about XDA unlocking. I tried out the different methods but nothing happend. I got into bootloader mode and tried to read out the code at the command line but the process stopped and wrote something like "Error at 0x303ff". Then I tried the new xda2unlock programm which I only have to upload onto the MDA. But it also failed. I don't know what I did wrong or isn't it possible to unlock my MDA? I hope I can find some help here on xda-developers and I can use my MDA also with other SIM cards. Thanks a lot for every comment,

afaik there are obnly unlock tools available here for Wallaby (xda i / MDA i) & Himalaya (XDA 2 / MDA ii) devices.
For a Magician to unlock (MDA Compact = iMate JAM = Magician) you will have to buy a code from your service provicer or check www.imei-check.co.uk (not exactly sure on that adress but its in some thread here)
BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU RUN NON-MAGICIAN SOFTWARE ON YOUR MAGICIAN, YOU COULD WRECK YOUR DEVICE

MDA Compact does not open HELP!!
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about MDA. I bought my T Mobile MDA Compact 2 weeks ago from Germany. Yesterday while I was trying to change its language to English its locked. I installed Windows 2003 SE then device restarted but not open anymore. Now I can not open it. What should I do? I need immediate assistant, can anybody help me to make my MDA Compact working again?

MDA PRO from qtek which rom works?

HI to all,
I cannot find the right rom formy mda that works.
Now I have
R 1.04.02
G 42.37.p8
D 1.12.42 WWE
It is an englis version of which i was able to upgrade the radio but not the rom. Also I cannot find out if unlock is possible.
Would be very gratefull with the right help.

Not sure what you mean by 'MDA Pro from qtek' tho. You have an Qtek and wish to install the MDA Pro ROMs?? I would say go for the exec roms at the moment.

HELP.....Change the language of my xda II QTEK 9000 how?

I am new here and I have bought a qtek 9000 xda II with german windows mobile 5.0 and I really want to unlock change the language to english. I have read that it has somethng to do wit downloading rom, but I dont now how to do itor wich one is the correct one. I would also like to unlock it since it is locked to t-mobile, but I ave not been able to find any software that worked. Is there anyone who can help me please.........?

I'm Italian, please excuse my poor English.
Two years ago I bought a qtek 2020i. The language was English and recently I turned it to Italian thanks to the information found on this site. Now, the PDA features are:
Qtek 2020i
ROM version 1.11.04 ITA
Rom date 01/31/05
Radio version 1.03.00
Protocol 1337.42
ExtRom version 1.11.152 ITA
Operative System WM2003SE
Many forum posts talk about a radio version 1.04. I searched it, but I haven't found it. Could anybody tell me where I can find it and if it is better than the 1.03 version?
I read about WM5 and WM6. I don't know anything about mobile operative system, only I understand that WM5 wasn't a legal copy so it was deleted from the server.
Could you tell me what are the best OS version suitable for qtek 2020i, where can I find it (if possible) and how can I install it?

I'm sorry Rudegar, can't find the files too.
In the FTP server seems that all links are removed.
In Buzzdev.net there aren't Alpine ROMs

Cid unlocking before first flash with WM6 or WM5

Hi,after a long time of trying to get one Mda Pro i finally did it!
I've tried to search through the wiki and the post for the universals and there are some thigs that i didn't understand.... hope that someone will answer...
- I have an MDA PRO sim-unlocked but i don't know if the cid is unlocked. Is there a way to see it???
- Do i need to unlock it or what?
- I need the pda for normal tel usage. no video calls and i need wi fi! Do you have same advice of same good english lang. WM5 or WM6 rom?
