I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about XDA unlocking. I tried out the different methods but nothing happend. I got into bootloader mode and tried to read out the code at the command line but the process stopped and wrote something like "Error at 0x303ff". Then I tried the new xda2unlock programm which I only have to upload onto the MDA. But it also failed. I don't know what I did wrong or isn't it possible to unlock my MDA? I hope I can find some help here on xda-developers and I can use my MDA also with other SIM cards. Thanks a lot for every comment,

afaik there are obnly unlock tools available here for Wallaby (xda i / MDA i) & Himalaya (XDA 2 / MDA ii) devices.
For a Magician to unlock (MDA Compact = iMate JAM = Magician) you will have to buy a code from your service provicer or check www.imei-check.co.uk (not exactly sure on that adress but its in some thread here)
BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU RUN NON-MAGICIAN SOFTWARE ON YOUR MAGICIAN, YOU COULD WRECK YOUR DEVICE
MDA Compact does not open HELP!!
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about MDA. I bought my T Mobile MDA Compact 2 weeks ago from Germany. Yesterday while I was trying to change its language to English its locked. I installed Windows 2003 SE then device restarted but not open anymore. Now I can not open it. What should I do? I need immediate assistant, can anybody help me to make my MDA Compact working again?

Hello Everybody,
just a quick question.
I know that Qtek 9100, I-Mate K-Jam, T-Mobile MDA Vario, they are all the same pocket pc (the wizard).
Now the question: can I load every rom on every device? For example, can I buy a Qtek 9100 WWE and load a K-Jam italian Rom? Or buy a T-Mobile MDA Vario German and load a Qtek 9100 WWE Rom?
Is it easy? Or is necessary to tweak something?

currently there are no sim unlock proggies availible yet for this phone.. (maybe itsme wants to help out some )
I have a T-mobile mda vario with romversion 1.3.2.3 NLD and radioversion 01.04.10 bought in the Netherlands: does anyone know if the tol lokiwz works to unlock this pda or is there another tool i should use? many thanks in advance.
It worked with my T-Mobile MDA Vario bought in Germany.

How can I unlock my MDA Compact II Phone??

I have already tried to unlock the phone with:
xdadev_all_unlock-v1.6.exe and xdadev_all_unlock-v1.5.exe but it didnt work....

I would upgrade my T-Mobile MDA Compact II but i don´t find the right upgrade Versions for this phone.

Hi,after a long time of trying to get one Mda Pro i finally did it!
I've tried to search through the wiki and the post for the universals and there are some thigs that i didn't understand.... hope that someone will answer...
- I have an MDA PRO sim-unlocked but i don't know if the cid is unlocked. Is there a way to see it???
- Do i need to unlock it or what?
- I need the pda for normal tel usage. no video calls and i need wi fi! Do you have same advice of same good english lang. WM5 or WM6 rom?
