Radio version - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

Is it true that the radio version thats will work best on you Universal is determind by your operator?
I have T-Mobile (NL) and 1.09 and 1.13 did not work at all.
I found 1.10.03 works best. (Not perfect, but best)

For all those Dutch T-Mobile Users:
1.11.00 Works Better then 1.10.03 ....
Got News? Let me know

Someone somewhere say so but anyway i've been in benelux and germany using radio 1.13.00 and I haven't had problem.

Radio Upgrade IIs to 1.08.00 or 1.06.00

Hi All,
I am a newbie with Radio upgrade. I recently bought a O2 XDA IIs which I believe is Asia version and I am using it here in Australia.
I have problem with my mobile connection (sometimes it drops out for no reason), will radio upgrade will help to stablise the connection?
My current radio version is 1.02.00 and the extRom is 1.31.920.
Can I upgrade the Radio ROM to v1.08.00? has anyone test the ROM before? if not which Radio version should I update?

I always go for the latest update that I know is compatible with my config.
In your case, I would try the 1.08.00...read the thread and have a ROM backup ready, just in case.

ROM version 1.10.00 WWE
ROM date 12/24/04
radio version 1.00.00
protocol version 1337.39
ExtRom 1.10.124 WWE
At the moment there are no updates for the XDA2i but there is rumours of one in the pipelines... if its true or not remains to be seen but we can only hope, I hoped that helped.....

It sounds like you have a higher ROM version than the O2 UK XDA2i Sanden.
Mine is
ROM version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM date 01/27/05
Radio Version 1.03.00
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM Version 1.11.144 WWE
but that's cos I'm using the iMate 1.11 upgrade ROM on it.

you upgraded you're 2i on the( pda2k) i-mate rom.
i would like to know a few things.
is the camera quality improved?
does it still have the wm player 10?
and does it still have the zip
software?
and does the bluetooth work perfectly?
cus blue angle had lot of crackling in the bluetooth.
please share you're experience with us about the upgrade.

QTEK 9000 - UMTS doesn't work anymore

hello everybody.
i have a problem with the QTEK 9000 of a friend.
i upgraded the ROMs to these versions:
ROM Version: 1.30.81ITA
Protocol Version: 42.37.P8
Extended ROM Version: 1.30.169ITA
Radio Version: 1.09.00
I also needed to upgrade the bootloader from V.1.00 to V.1.01.
After the ROMS upgrade, I don't have anymore UMTS (WCDMA) signal.
Only GSM and GPRS.
I upgraded the I-Mate JASJAR ROMs, so I tried the QTEK ROMs (UNI_QTEK_ITA_13089_130177_10900_ITA_SHIP).
But no UMTS signal.
I also tried other Radio ROMs: 1.11, 1.08, 1.06, 1.04.10, 1.04.02 (the 10Mb version, the 4Mb does'nt work)
But still no UMTS signal.
When there was the old 1.02 Radio ROM, UMTS worked fine.
I would like to reinstall the original 1.02 version to see what it happens, but it's hard to find it in the internet.
Do you have any suggestions?
Do you have a link to download the old 10mb 1.02 version?

Need Help with Upgrades

Hi... I am actually new to the upgrading world however i recently updated my Radio Version to 1.14 and its works amazing... however i had a query that i am currently using a 3G phone which is unlocked and working on a Indian Network... Help i require is if i do a upgrade will this again lock my phone by any chance... if not can someone suggest me good upgrade.

Radio Version : 1.14.10
Protocol Version : 42.49.P8
ExtROM : 1.13.300 WWE
