Can anyone please tell me the best piece of software to allow MP4 video files to be played on the Blue angel. I have some files from my son's Sony Ericsson and want to transfer these to the BA for playing. But when I transfer these I get a msg indicating that the BA cannot play or does not recognise these type of files. I tried a product called VLC media player for the pocket PC and it does play the files but there is no sound present. Can anyone please advise. Thanks jd76
try the built-in Album app
Use the TCPMP player-this software playing this files.
thanks kdskamal I don't have this as a built in app is this supplied by default to BA owners?
Thanks -KLOUN- can you give me a link to TCPMP..

use smartmovie
You should try -----> sompy media player, its a freeware and equipped with bunch of codecs... i think it will works.
Anyone else notice that video files encoded using wma for audio and wmv for videos no longer work with TCPMP 0.71 under WM6?
They will work with the mediaplayer 10 app included with wm6 but not TCPMP.
I don't use the mediaplayer 10 app for the simple reason that it's crap so this is a little bit of an issue for me...
I had that problem, look here:

PUG we're thinking on the same wavelength mate!
Thanks for that - I just borrowed my colleagues wm5 device to see if I could locate these DLLs in the windows folder.
Thanks for this mate!
Bless!
How about Core Player?
0.71 or 0.72?
Try 0.81 and let us know.
The fix above works for CorePlayer too.
I recently had a windows mobile 5 phone with a default tuma 1.3 installation, which happily played m4a music files on windows media player.
I now have the same phone running a standard orange uk installation of mobile 2003, running media player 10, but it no longer plays these files.
Does anyone know why? If so does anyone know how i can play these files again on 2003?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
m4a is actually AAC encoded audio. Look for a player that supports AAC format.
pocket music or pocket player can play it,try it
or just install the cab I posted a few times already
Mi_MediaSupportv2.CAB
so that WMP10 can play it as well... it's mono only though..
Well I am trying to stream my music files at my media center pc to my Hermes with WM6.
The wma files play really well. However, the mp3 files do not play.
In the media center forum I read that mobile WMP does not play streaming mp3 but only plays wma.
I think that there must be a solution for this.
Maybe another streaming player ?
Could anyone suggest something ?
Thanks
Orb will do what you're looking for.
yes, I know that Orb does it. Also, Webguide does it.
But I don't prefer to convert to wma on PC side.
Why does not WM6 wmp support mp3 ?
Also, isn't there any mp3 steaming player for WM6/WM5 ?
Hello all,
I have a decent sized CD collection, most of it is encoded on my PC in FLAC format, still havent finished encoding it all up. I never use MP3 anymore and have only very few tracks through itunes.
Without wishing to re-encode over 100 CD's worth of music into MP3 and having two copies of my music on my hard drives, I am looking for an easy solution to playing FLAC on my Touch HD.
Not looking for anything fancy, just basic Play/Pause/Fast Forward/Rewind or even one that can be incorparated into the TF3D Music Player.
I am not averse to paying some money for a solution so suggestions do not have to be freeware only.
Search turned up very little useful information.
You can use pocketplayer from Conduits, or coreplayer mobile, both are commercial, not freeware:
