FLAC Media Player? - Touch HD Themes and Apps

Hello all,
I have a decent sized CD collection, most of it is encoded on my PC in FLAC format, still havent finished encoding it all up. I never use MP3 anymore and have only very few tracks through itunes.
Without wishing to re-encode over 100 CD's worth of music into MP3 and having two copies of my music on my hard drives, I am looking for an easy solution to playing FLAC on my Touch HD.
Not looking for anything fancy, just basic Play/Pause/Fast Forward/Rewind or even one that can be incorparated into the TF3D Music Player.
I am not averse to paying some money for a solution so suggestions do not have to be freeware only.
Search turned up very little useful information.

You can use pocketplayer from Conduits, or coreplayer mobile, both are commercial, not freeware:

Better Music Player Alternative to Windows Media Player

Have a look here
http://www.pocketmind.com/pmfp.htm
The PocketMusic Player is a must for anyone who is serious about music quality. There is a customisable 10 band graphic equaliser for a start with presets or adjust the equaliser settings yourself. There a bass boost facility. Supports multi music formats. You can use winamp skins as well.
When used through my XDA 11s and Sony EX71 phones the results are fantastic. Much better than WMP. Good value for $20.

music player for manila 2.5
im a total noob on this winmo 6.5 phone...i have a touch pro 2 for att...but i dont like the music player because it wont display my albums artwork...it shows one art work for all my music...can anyone tell me whats wrong??? thanks...sorry if i posted in the wrong area...but im new here. sorry.
that usually is because of the mp3s. this is a sample situation to cause that bug (that is present on all devices and all players btw., even on the pc):
- play a song with a cover inside the mp3
- play a song with a folder-wide cover that is not in its original folder
- play a song w/o a cover
from that point on, all the songs will display the same cover, because the song without cover could not override the old cover, which behaves odd anyways, because it is not in its original folder.
this was just an example, but to avoid bugs like that, you should integrate the covers in the songs and get rid of all the folder.jpg /png cover.jpg /png and similar files
but asides from that, you can of course, try other media players, like tcpmp, link in my signature (tuts and downloads), or s2p (ac-s2.com)
alternative for wm
i think u can go for Nitrogen which good for playing mp3 and other audio formats just search for Nitrogen for wm6 in google.
S2U2 works very well also.
Core player!
i used MP3Tag to integrate my album's artwork to my mp3 files..and use Conduits Pocket Player..works well for me

streaming audio

Well I am trying to stream my music files at my media center pc to my Hermes with WM6.
The wma files play really well. However, the mp3 files do not play.
In the media center forum I read that mobile WMP does not play streaming mp3 but only plays wma.
I think that there must be a solution for this.
Maybe another streaming player ?
Could anyone suggest something ?
Thanks
Orb will do what you're looking for.
yes, I know that Orb does it. Also, Webguide does it.
But I don't prefer to convert to wma on PC side.
Why does not WM6 wmp support mp3 ?
Also, isn't there any mp3 steaming player for WM6/WM5 ?

I can't help you with the Itunes Sync part since I don't use Itunes and never will; however, as for media players these are what I have installed and use pretty regularly
WM Media player
HTC audio manager
S2P really great but no playlist support unfortunately
TCPMP for video's and audio and I use this for internet radio- really great
MortPlayer - aslo really great and skinable with some really nice finger friendly skins available for download.
All of these are freeware and work perfectly on my HTC touch Elf. Unsure if any can sync with Itunes though or even how to sync with Itunes, but all worth checking out in my opinion
Again, cant help with the iTunes part but PocketPlayer is a great one. works great on my dash and looks nice too
Pocket player and pocket tunes are very good.
PocketPlayer defo the best music player, not sure but think you could use MediaMonkey to sync.
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate you suggestions, I'm trying Pocket Player now,
COREPLAYER is the best one for me.
I used pocket player and tcpmp somtimes, But i almost exclusively use COREPLAYER . I know it's not free, but one of the best players out there.
pocket tunes can sync with itunes
Wow, Pocket Tunes, looks hot and iTunes support ooof, I like, I like, I'm so vested in iTunes and kind off like it, my iTouch, etc etc.
Quick Question when i go to a site like streams4pda.com on my phone to try and stream something it opends up windows media player and gives me an error mssg what do i do
anyone? different media player?
For Mpeg Vids
I use "Pocket TV"..The best for me, No lag time or lip sync problems like I find with all the rest.

TF3D Music Player - Capable of supporting FLAC?

This is my first WinMo Device, as an audiophile I have a lot of my music in FLAC format.
I've had to use CorePlayer to play my music files because the TF3D one doesn't support the codec. My only problem is I find the CorePlayer interface confusing at times (I can control everything, it's just there are often a lot of buttons which I have no idea what they're doing )
Is there any way of modding it so it plays FLAC through the TF3D player (the interface is so nice) I just wish it supported more codecs.
Cheers

Which version of TCPMP do you use?

Hello guys,
Just a survey on which version of TCPMP you guys use for your device. Was trying different different versions and builts to see which one runs best. For starters, I used "TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-SUBTITLES-iriki-repack01.cab" which ran really smooth with SRT subs on a couple of roms (6.1 as well as 6.5) that I've tried. The downside is that I couldn't get it to play flv, and its not accepting the flv plugins I've put in.
Next, I tried the TCPMP 2009 Phenom Edition. Its plays avi with srt subs as well but its not as fast as iriki's repack, even when I use GDI. Frames were skipped and the audio doesn't seem to go along with the video. Again, it didn't play the flv videos I've downloaded from youtube.
I know this doesn't answer your question - but why on earth more people don't simply use Media Player I'll never know - I have used mp4's and the like with Media Player and they have played VERY well. Used TCMP before and not been impressed.

I was going to London over the weekend, and had just downloaded a couple of programmes that I watch on a weekly basis. I download AVI files, and normally bung them on a USB stick and watch them via my PS3. In this case, I simply copied them to the memory card in my HD and watched them on the train. Basically, it meant that I didn't have to convert the files in order to watch them with WM Player.
It plays more formats than WM Player, and is more configurable. It's not a knock to WM Player. It just does more.
Also, in fairness, TCPMP doesn't play WMV files well at all. You get about 1 frame every 3 seconds. I obviously use WM Player for them.
@Abubakar
I've not tried playing FLV files with TCPMP, but for youtube stuff I want to keep, I use www.keepvid.com, and download MP4s. I use v0.61 and don't have any issues with it at all - works a treat.
