Hi all,
Has anyone else noticed that the SX66 has totally disappeared from the Siemens site? I even logged on to my customer support page and the profile I created for my SX66 is gone.
Anyone heard what is going on?

:roll: I do not know if I am the only one in the universe with a spv on vodaphone. I am trying to get the settings for mms, I have managed to get internet settings but i can not recieve MMS can anybody out there help me. (ps I am not that bright about PDAs)

You have rung Vodafone and asked them to enable your MMS option?
Yes Geoff but it is not a phone that they sell so they have not any settings to send

It is with great thanks that I send this message to you Jedi. Jerk you most certainly are not. I have tried out the answer to my problem but alas it did not work. The settings on the spv are just different enough to matter. Still thanks again.
I have noticed on my xda iis that when i miss a call, even if i is from someone in my contacts, the missed call list only has the number, not the ID of the contact.
this is annoying, as i have to think 'hmm, who is 0409111222 again??'
has anyone found a solution to this? or possibly better still, a different 'missed call' program?
It works on mine.
I did find names not showing once, and found it was because I saved first/last name in the 'Last' field of Contacts. When I moved both first/last names into 'First' it solved it.

The iMate website lists this as a known problem which is resolved in their latest release of ROM firmware. Us IIs people just have to wait patiently for our update from O2!

I had this problem as well on my T-Mobile MDA III after upping the rom from 1.06.01 to 1.22.01 GER. It took me 24 hours of "suckin balls" to resolve this problem. I finally found the problem, and it was a program called Omega 1-pass. After I removed it, this problem disappeared.

I have a UK O2 XDA Orbit with an O2 Sim...
For some reason I don't seem to be able to receive MMS messages from Virgin on it.... The GPRS kicks in and it looks like its downloading and then stops.... within a couple of days I get a message to say it couldn't be downloaded and do I want to reject it.....
MMS from other mobile companies seem to get to me fine.... this is the first time I've had this problem...
I have tried sending to an O2 X2i and gets there no problem.... so I'm guessing its my phone... also texts from Virgin get through fine...
Anyone had anything similar..

Has anybody received MMS messages from a Virgin mobile on a O2 equiped XDA orbit successfully.
This could be down to the settings on the virgin phone, but this is probably unlikely as we can succesfully send MMS to another O2 phone...

I have the same problem using Vodafone.... Have changed GPRS settings, and it connects and LOOKS like it's transferring, however it doesnt actually send...

Anyone have an suggestions for getting the Caller Id for Contacts Only option to work?
I'm using att&t on my 8525 and their support group is sending a new phone because they say it should work but they don't have a clue.
You set it by going to Settings > Phone > Services > Caller Id then retrieve the network settings. They are Everyone, No One or Contacts Only. Everyone and No One works but Contacts Only is same as no one.
The tech's phone he said it worked. Mine no way.
The option is there and should work with WM6 3.61.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I have searched to no avail.

Just a thought, but are your contacts only on sim? It may be that that feature only works for contacts stored in the phone memory. I haven't checked this feature myself, but thought I'd give a suggestion to try to troubleshoot.
My contacts are in memory...
at&t sent me a replacement phone with WM5 on it and it works on that phone. I'm not sure when in the WM6 life cycle it stopped working. I'm goint to load the plain official version of WM6 and see if it works. I also might post to vp3G's tread and see what he knows. How that we know it is not a network or hardware issure maybe someone can help me track it down.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
i have mine stored on phone and using vp3 3.61 and it shows only to my contacts
Hmm, Guess it is time to upgrade the new phone to WM6.
I'm using vp3G's WM6 v3.61 and when I enable "Contacts only" it has the same effect as if it set to "No One"...
After a year is there a fix for this?

I installed a wm6 rom from this site on my phone in feb, and think its great...
However I cant remember which rom it was I used in the end.
Anyway, since I put wm6 on the phone one thing has really been bugging me. I dont recive notification of a new voicemail. Instead I recive a text message with random text inside it.
Anyone seen this before, or know how to fix it?
btw... I am on Orange in the UK if that makes any difference...
