Guys.. Need help, WHere can i change my phone language because i bought XDA Mini from Germany and the language is Germany to English, Where can i get the ROM? And is it works ? thx for the advance

there is a link to the ftp there you find plenty of roms for magicians
WWW == world wide english
can you tell me the exact name of the file? there´s just too many files there.
And if you have time, pls tell me how to update it step-by-step also.
(have just bought Magician a week ago, and don´t want it to go back to store :wink: )
i dont know anything which is not included in the wiki magician pages
i dont own the device
but WWE would be world wide english

A friend of mine is able to get me a german iPAQ 6340 soon(FA203A#ABD). Will it be possible ( / easy) to change the wm2003 to english? (hence the FA203A#ABB model)
Any ideas?

i doubt it
windows CE have the language hardcoded
so to change language you need to reflash the rom
at least that how it is with xda roms
unless HP got some different way to handeling that it require a new rom
and hp dont have free roms like our xda devices
so it may even be impossible

I changed an ipaq 3850 from german to english by flashing with english rom.
Check if an English Rom is available
Your buddy needs to check if HP as a DL available in a different language.
Or ask the group if somebody has the "CD" in English available for DL

i wish to start translating roms for our community here, i would start with the tmob aku 3.3 german rom since some people would want it in english and dutch for my dutch board friends over here.
I have the darkforce rom in dutch and since for the universal never a dutch official rom was released i think there must be some guide or somebody who can give me a start on this
Anyone has some experience on this , i dll the lang v2.1 and reshacker and have lots of "hobbytime"
Also my girlfriends speaks german and would help me on a usable translation.

In a ROM you would need to change the *.mui files according the languages
Like "shellres.dll.0407.mui" (0407 for German) to "shellres.dll.0409" (0409 for English)

I got Asus a686 from Russia and it has a Russian WM6. I want to change it to an English one.
1. how can i do it? I need an English rom and i dont have it.
2. Will rom of a696 fits a686?

i cant use my o2 xda orbit because of the german language. i have tried to look for the english verion of the ROM but i dont know were to get it. i will be very thankful to the person who could help give me a download site and the procedure for the change

In your settings try to find language and keyboard option, inside it there will be an option to set your desired language!
