Is there any way to disconnect the headset from the device at the end of every call ? I have an I-Mate PDA2K and e BT card on my PC. I need to switch between my PC and my PDA2K once a while.
However i can't connect my PC to my headset as it's already connected to my PDA2K. So... is there a no manual way to disconnect the headset ?
Thanks
You can do this manually tap the BT icon at the lower right of the today screen and select BT manager, click on the headset and select disconnect. I do not beleive you can this automatically.

I don't think it is possible. Problems with the integratino of Windows Mobile and the Bluetooth Static/Profiles.
So, is this a Blue Angel Issue, a Windows Moblie SE isuse, or both?
If just a Windows Moblie SE Issue does anyone know if WM2005 corrects this?
Thanks!
Its a windows issue rather than a BA issue I think, however there is a partial solution.
Press the connect button on your BT headset as if you were answering a call; then press the "contacts" button on your BA. You should then be able to speak into your BT headset. Once finished, disconnect the BT headset as normal
Not perfect, but a reasonable workaround. I have my BA in a cradle in my car & hardly need to glance at it in order to find the contacts button & get nearly-handsfree operation

Dear weasel,
I have tried what you have advised to get BT head set to activate voice command. However, it don't work. Is there any thing else that I can do? I really hope I can dial a call via BT haed set.
Thank you.
Please help me out I'm incredibly frustrated with this thing. I recently got the PDA2k and installed WM05 on it. It looks very nice and it runs speedy with no problems. My problem is the bluetooth which is huge thing to me. Either my headset (Tekkeon Eztalker Mini) is not compatible which I doubt or I'm making a stupid mistake.
This is what I did step by step: I click on the bluetooth icon and turn on the bluetooth, I then put my headset in pairing mode and the imate is able to recognize it and I enter the Pw and I put Set as handsfree. That's it, I would think I would be done at this point yet nothing happens, the headset doesn't do anything and I know its not Tekkeons fault because I was able to hook it up easily with my HP 6315.
So what's going what am I missing?
Also theres a tab at the bottom called "Com Ports" but I only see under this option "Incoming Port", and the description at the top says there should be another option called "New outgoing port". Does this have anything to do with it?
What Am i doing wrong? It's driving me crazy I can't really use the phone without the headset.
help me out pls
Bluetooth
I know the feeling, i have gone back to 2003 cause of that but now i am back on wm5. The bluetooth issue is not fixed yet, it is not stable, it keeps going off. There is a suspend cab file, but it does not work for me yet, also try pokect zen beta. You might get a longer period of bluetooth
thanks for responding, but the problem is not that it suspends or stops working. It doesn't start working at all even though the imate detects it. It's like it's not connected at all, not that it disconnects. I'm doing something wrong I just don't know what.
The bluetooth piece is not faulty and the unit is practically brand new. whats going on?
I used "Display Switch" binded button (From Wisbar Advance 2) or "Toggle Screen" (From SPB Pocket Plus) to turn off the backlight instead of using power button .
This work around will keep bt connection alive.
Note:
1. If you suspend your BA using psShutXP your bt connection .
2. You have to disable auto turn off device under Start -> Setting -> Power
Note:
1. If you suspend your BA using psShutXP your bt connection will be disconnected.
I'm sorry I'm not sure I'm explaining myself correctly. I understand that if the power goes off I will lose the BT connection but the problem is not KEEPING the connection alive, the problem is MAKING the connection. I follow all the steps , the imate recognized the headset but I'm not able to use it..also shouldn't a headset picture show up at the top of the screen when the bt headset is connected (cuz mine doesnt). what am i doing wrong?
thanks.
still need help please.. if someone can walk me through how to setup a bluetooth connection that would be great cuz I apparently haven't done it right.
The headset icon only shows in Phone app
The headset icon only shows up in the Phone application. It no longer is displayed in the notification area (top row).
If your device is paired up, when you make a call, you will see the headset icon in the top right corner.
You may also need to clear any old pairings that you headset has. I have a Jabra 250 and it happens all the time.
there we go you have solved my problem!. I didnt' have to open up the phone application on my hp 6315 to use the bt. So wait can I listen to music with windows media player through the bt headset or does it only work when making phone calls? I was able to listen to music on the HP 6315, is it different with the Imate or is it the NEW 05 os? Please enlighten me
thank you thank you
also one other thing does this mean that if i want to use the headset with the phone that I have to press the answer button on the imate rather than the headset..cuz that would suck big time.
what about when people call me can i answer with the answer button of the bt headset or no?
It works fine with the headset button for answering or hanging up.
Later.......... 8)

I recently upgraded my hermes to use shnapps wm6 rom. When i try to pair my bluetooth headphones with my hermes it won't find the device at all. Can this be due to the wm6 upgrade. Are there anyways to fix it? Thanks for the help!

I use two different BT headsets - both stereo A2DP - and they work fine. Do you have another device to verify you've put the headset into discoverable mode?
I'm using the i.Tech Clip R35 and it pairs fine with my upgraded winmo6 8525. The thing I can't figure out is how to 're-connect' the headphones. I turn on the headphones and power on bluetooth on the 8525, but nothing happens. The old widcomm BT stack used to allow you to double-click on the paired device and that would initiate a connection, but I can't find anything like that in the winmo6 BT manager.

I have the same Itech Clip 35, i found that I can (with the stylus) click and hold on the itech clip paired device, it brings up a dialog box that says Set as Wireless stereo. Or even easier yet, after you turn on the Clip, press the MFB once to connect to your device...you'll see the A2DP icon show up and you're ready to rock.
Here is the Manual

Perfect, thanks!
when i turn on bluetooth , my rhodium connect to my bluetooth headphones ,the option of 'hands-free' is choosed ,but the 'Stereo Audio ' is not.....before i choose it myself
have there resolvents to "auto select " 'Stereo Audio' like 'hands-free' ?
This works for me, although I find it appears to drain my headset's battery at a faster rate, even when I'm not listening to music.
Go to Bluetooth settings, click and hold the headphones entry, select Properties and check "Connections authorized" option.

thx ! XieXie~~
as you said , i choose the "Connections authorized" option already , it dosen't work
i mean , i can connect my Bluetooth headphone automatically , with the option "hand-free" only ....
the "Stereo Audio" option must check manually
Wondering this myself - trying to get my phone to connect automatically to Bluetooth devices without having to go to Settings, select the Bluetooth settings menu, click "Stereo Audio" for the device, wait for it to connect, close the program, close Bluetooth settings, then close the Settings menu, THEN open up audio program (Resco Radio, in my case). It makes sense that as soon as it is nearby a Bluetooth device, that it would connect automatically, like my Rhodium does for my Jawbone2.
I've tried the "Connections authorized" suggestion above and it has not allowed my phone to connect automatically to the Bluetooth speakers I have on my desk - "Connections authorized" option is checked for speakers, Bluetooth is on, speakers are on, phone is not connected.....
EDIT - looks like after a LOT of searching, the only option is A2DPToggle and something like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530327
but they both require the device to be a headset, and my speakers are not - I can use my car stereo as a hands-free device, but I choose not to because of the quality.... nothing beats my Jawbone2, windows up or windows down!
Hi, every one! I bought brand new JBL Bluetooth Headset, model name is JBL Reflect mini BT2, and when i turn bluetooth and headset on, there is nothing in the pairing menu. I had older BT-Headphones and everything worked fine. However, the JBL headphones connect to my Galaxy Tab A perfect. On my Mi5S runs LineageOS 16.0, latest update.
Greetings
You might have already tried this since you managed to pair the headphones to another phone, but maybe they don't want to pair to a new device unless the following is done:
To connect to a different Bluetooth device, first switch the headphones off.
Now press and hold the center button on the headphone remote control for about 3-5 seconds.
You should see the light blinking red/blue to indicate pairing mode, and the voice prompt should state “looking for device”.
You should see "Reflect Mini 2" appear on the source's BT list. Choose that option, and wait for the voice prompt to state “connected”

I do this everytime and also did a hard reset on the headset and still not found.
I'm on LOS 16 too and don't have problems connecting to a headset or BT speaker. Here's one crazy idea Go to Developer settings (might need to enable them first - go to About phone, and click on build number at the very bottom until you get a note that you're a developer). Now go to System, Advanced, Developer options and under Networking hit Show Bluetooth devices without names. This will give you a list of BT MAC addresses. I'm curious if you see the JBL listed now. You can get its MAC address from the other phone.
