Hi,
I get every topic notification mail twice. Why?
PS: I receive my Pm notifications only once...
Anyone face with a similar problem?
I can provide logs from my mail server...

Yep, every notification I receive is duplicated too.
One of them has "To: " and the other mail has "To: Undisclosed-recipients:" or "To: Undisclosed-recipients: ;"
Yep, same here, I guess there's a bug in the script but noone's looked at fixing it yet.
this is my first mails header:

Anybody there???
It's frustrating have two times more e-mail notification messages from this forum.
I love this forum, but I don't want to have two identical e-mails.
Please help us...
I can't really find the problem from here. Both mails have the same Message-ID 's but the Sendmail/Postfix server that receives emails from [email protected] generates different id 's and different timestamps... And as it is submitted twice to the MTA, you are getting two copies of the bodies...
The problem is somewhere between the forum software and the outbound part of the MTA

Well if you looked just five posts up you'd see that it has been investigated only a couple of weeks ago and no problem found. So in answer to your original question LumpiStefan was completely correct, it is also plain to see that people have looked into the problem but don't have a solution yet!

The tool sends also e-mail messages.
Working only, on Active Access Account Live.com, or else.
Load address/number from your phone contacts

Important rules that the tool worked:
You must get access to a live.com account, or else.
Because the tool uses e-mail resources.

Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening and solve it? Is it something in my settings?
More information
I figured out if I do not include the original message by unchecking that box in the window where I compose the new email, the issue doesn't occur. It only seems to happen when I respond to certain emails...
I am on ATT, Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4.1.1
Thanks again in advance,
Jeff

I have the same problem with a SG3 and I was looking for a solution for a long time. Believe it or not, I found this answer in a forum for Windows Phones! It is an issue of the length of the subject and for some reason it has to do with Google Sync. It is not a problem of the phone itself.
The only way to correct the problem is the following:
The issue happens when you reply to an email that has a subject in Greek which is more than 23 characters (including the RE: + space before the subject). It also happens when the subject is in English and more that 63 characters are used in total. Try to truncate manually the subject when you reply to a message that has any of the above character limit and you will no longer have the problem!!!
So in short, when you reply to a message, truncate the subject to less than 23 characters (including the RE:_) if the subject is in Greek, or to less than 63 characters (including the RE:_) if the subject is in English, before you send it. I am sure that something similar applies when other languages are used in Subject as well.
Hope it helps.
Thanks You!!!!

I thought I would NEVER figure this out! Thank you so much!!!
So this is only a problem with Gmail on Android or Windows Phone?
Can this happen on iOS do you know? Can it happen with yahoo or anything else?
Would using the Gmail app help do you think?
Thanks!

I am glad I helped! I had this problem since I bought the SGS3 and I could not figure out what the problem was.
As I found out this is a problem of Gmail on Windows and Android Phones. But I repeat, this problem occurs not because of the phone itself, but because of Google Sync (therefore Gmail itself). I really do not know if it can happen on iOS (actually I do not like iphone or anything that come with an "i" in front!).
Also, according to what I found it shouldn't happen with yahoo or any other email provider.
To answer your last question, it shouldn't happen with the Gmail App that is already on the phone. However, I prefer to use the stock email application, so I do not bother truncating the subject when it is too long.

That is a pain isn't it? How long the numbers are will determine how convenient these ideas might or might not be. Use an * asterisk or a / forward slash instead of a - hyphen. A space between numbers works and combinations of letters and numbers also works without being underlined.

Thanks for the reply. Even 2014 in "12 Sep 2014" gets underlined? Why? - it isn't a phone number! Same with 99-100 or 158 85 or 121/56.
I just don't understand why someone thought this was a great idea.

I just tried 12 Sep 2014 and 2014 is not underlined for me. I'm using the google keyboard if that makes any difference. Theoretically if something is underlined you should be able to tap on it and it will open the phone dialer, calendar, maps or possibly some other app I'm not thinking of.
Try the date with a colon after it 13 09 2014:
Odd isn't it?
I realise there is the potential to use numbers as links but I just wish there was a way to turn it off.
