Frugal Diamond?

Hello,
Is there a cooked rom that maximises battery power? I am ready to drop accelerator/gsensor, 3g, touchflow, anything else not required.
I know it is silly sitting on a great phone and not using all its features, but battery power is most important to me, i use the phone for calls/texts and internet browsing (no downloads).
Thanks
N
Panosha Simple gave me the best battery life but the difference between all the Roms I've tested is negligable.
how 'bout an extended battery? like the mugen power 2000mAh stated in the accesories forums?

I got myself a extended battery (1800mAh) but the backcover looks ugly also it is a misfit, i have a t-mob compact iv which has diff type of backcover then HTC diamond.
Understand what your about....I am still using an "older" SwiftB Lite 6.0 ROM that gives me about 3 days with very minimal use.....
...however the HTC extended battery (only about 1350 Mah I think) for Diamond still looks cool (not glossy either) and will give you that little bit more juice
Mind you this is not the cheap-cheap option
Trying panoshine 2.3 lite now, lets see what it does to the battery
HTC extended battery
i have this and it lasts 3/4 days normal use

[Q] Battery model\extended life battery?

Is there such thing for this phone (extended life\bigger battery)? Also, what's the model number to our current battery?
Thought I'd bring a reserve battery with me if I go on a long trip or something so I'd like to know the model.
http://www.batteryupgrade.com/shopBrowser.php#/assortmentProductId/32033648/shopGroupId/45791098
I ordered from them battery for Samsung i900 and it was exactly same quality as original.
Excellent quality !
that's not an upgrade as standard i5801 is 1500.
Yeah, thanks. A replace battery is just what I need. And I suppose a thing like an extended battery doesn't exist for our phone.
Sent from my GT-I5801 using XDA App
Get an extra one..
I have 2 batteries and it lasts for a week with minimal usage
exist program BatteryCalibration...it would help to extend battery life
you can find it in Kirillos´ROM
I wasn't looking for no crappy program to give my battery few more hours, I was looking for an extended life battery which is bigger and holds more charge. To bad those things rarely exist for phones.
I know what you mean, even old phones like google G1 have 2700mah batteries, last for weeks! but not for galaxy3. maybe i can make an extended battery by combining two g3 batteries, i will try.
We have a good battery, 1500 with the screen resolution and processor we have is really good. You have bigger and faster phones that use more juice with similar/smaller battery capacity
Yup. I'm not saying this is a bad phone or has a bad battery (I actually get good battery life), but if there is a battery that holds more charge, I'd be happy to buy it
you could also look into stuff like this.
Well that's better (and cheaper) then a spare battery, thanks for finding that one.
EDIT:
This holds 4400Mah, is probably able to charge the phone 3 times

Yeah, thats even better, I suspected there are better options thats why I said something like that (since there is an ad on XDA for it so I didn't have to look )
edit: I'm bookmarking that! Great find, I might get it someday, thanks!

I dunno what APO/FPO addresses are but a quick google search could tell you
Yup, you can't probably buy it from amazon, I was more just showing that this kind of product exists. You could google the full name of the item and see if any other place sells it
I hate the damn battery, it never last more than 17hours regardless of what kind of ROM and Base band i have flashed...Was it a fake one?
It depends a lot how you use your phone, but I myself have reached max of 100 hours with minimal-medium usage. Typical amount for me is 50-70 hours with medium usage, and max 30 hours with like, google finance updating stocks per 15 minutes and fancy widget pro using gps to show weather every 2 hours and stuff like that. Plus I use adwlauncher ex with 4d drawer and other battery-sucking stuff on. Oh and you should use setcpu profile 166\88 when the screen is off, saves a lot of battery that way
Use bat callibration fugomod be or other undervolt kernel set cpu prozessor speed to 3** mhz reduce brightness= 39h+ runtime with musik usage facebook app runing mail sync^^
sent from my galaxy3 whitestar cfw balance edition
I have to charge my battery everyday I use Kyrillos' rom v5.6, fugumod alpha 14 and it sucks, thinking about buying an ordinary new one....
Also, bat calibration doesnt make a difference...

extended battery for aria???

Hello all, Like everyone these little Aria's are nice devices..
I however seem to have mine plugged to something all the time...
My ARIA, is rooted and running froyo 2.2, still the battery life is awful, even wit the average apps turned off.
1. are there extended battery's available for the ARIA?
2. are my only options buying several battery's and swapping?
3> does anyone have any advice that may help my ARIA, stay away from the dreaded WIRE for charging??
any help would be awesome..........tattooer
let the battery run all the way before you charge it
If you are having battery issues, I'd root it. Once you root, you can wipe battery stats, flash CM (amazing battery life), etc.

I think they have portable chargers...
I saw one at best buy, where you charge it (basically an external battery) and you can plug your phone into it when you need a charge for the phone.
Energizer Energi to go is also another option...
As for me, to get the best battery life I turn off 3g, since I'm mostly around wifi anyway.
My phone is running froyo 2.2 from a file.on my see card, I rooted my phone Rondo this. Is cm6. Betterr. Than froyo for battery life?
So there are no battery replacements that give more battery Life??I have searched. The web over and over.thanks for the help. Between cm6 and froyo which has the best battery. Life?
instead of thinking, 'i need to replace the battery because it doesn't last long enough', try thinking 'what can i do to help my phones battery last a bit longer'.
firstly, read this tutorial.
in regards to task killers, i suggest reading this, and this and this.
lastly, i would recommend installing juicedefender and watchdog.
also if you're willing since its still experimental I have been using build #12 of CM7 nightlies and my batteries last much longer then when I had 2.2. I play games check articles blah blah and get about 40% life left when I go to bed around 14 hours of usage time.

I just came across this and I couldn't believe my eyes! Has anyone else seen this extended battery for the Aria (with back cover!) to see if it is legitimate or not?
I am VERY interested as I'm sure many of you are!

Any update on these "extended" batteries. Would be interested if someone can report good results.
Hi guys! I've never had serius problems with the battery of my Gratia (the European version of the Aria), but i have to recharge it every 2 days (or every day if I use it much more than the ordinary) and it's a bit annoying... I saw a powerful battery (2430 mah) in ebay, so if you are desperate you can try it
i can't give you the link because it's my first post
if you are intersted just write htc gratia battery on the search bar of the website.
PS: i'm sorry for my english be patient !

You are talking about "GOLD 2430MAH BA S430 BUSINESS BATTERY FOR HTC GRATIA"
The price and capacity sounds too good to be true. Curious if anyone tried these out.
I thought the same thing... i don't need to try it, but i'm a bit curious to know if it really works.
There is no way to pack 2430mah in a small form factor like that.
It should be over twice the thickness of a standard aria battery.
To get any extra milliamps, you would have to thicken or lengthen the battery.
Stock is it until they come out with something newer than lithium.

couldn't agree more with this. v6 supercharger is the way!
I don't understand: supercharger seems to be responsible to faster phone, does it also helps battery life?

new battery with move capacity

I have a HTC Desire (Bravo) and just changed from the OEM 1450 mah battery to a aftermarket 2430 mah.
Still using the same rom, only changing battery.
Being rooted is it enough to just wipe battery stats in recovery (with all the required steps) or should I use a battery calibration app like battery calibrator from Jon Richards?
Is there a difference at all between the 2?
thanks
When I am using the app mentioned above. I guess the battery is not really compatible with those functions 'cause the info are all fracked up. Using the original battery with works fine.
Is an app like this really worth it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765609
Thanks again.

I've seen good things about one on Amazon. Which ROM are you using? Also, which kernel?
Sent from my SGH-T989
My guess is a battery issue...not a bad battery tho.
Why not get gsam and post some screenshots after a good long drain?
Your setup, usage and apps have surely changed over time. Something is likely draining your battery.
Read the first 3 posts in the battery thread in my signature.... Its for the N5...but most info is universal.

Ok. I've seen some good things about Anker batteries (like this one:http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-T...H-I515/dp/B0078WL4YO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top)
With a new battery, do a full charge, full discharge (until phone dies and will not turn back on), and another full charge.
+1 for the anker 2200mah replacement. It's cheaper than the oem battery. It lacks nfc though. And as for the whole "battery memory" thing, don't worry about it. Just pop the new battery in and use it however. I just bought the anker to replace the original battery in my wife's s2, her battery life has doubled.
I just bought the Anker 2200 mAh battery and its great. My phone does last a little longer on standby, but my screen-on time hasn't increased by very much (I typically get about 3-4 hrs screen time).
I'm running CarbonROM + Wildkernel and other various tweaks for battery life. My phone spends most of its time in deep sleep.
When you open your battery stats, what things are taking the most out of your battery? I've found the app Wakelock Detector to help a lot in tracking down battery drains.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector&hl=en
GSAM gives a much easier to understand picture of battery usage. If you're rooted, get Gsam root companion as well to see held awake stats. ?
