I am using waveform audio interface WaveIn and WaveOut
I am facing a problem when I set the volume of the device while it is playing a .wav file .
I am calling the following api waveOutSetVolume when the slider(for volume )is changed.
but didnt work, Is there a way to do this??

i have a problem with my desire HD .. whenever media played in my phone(dial tone , play music,making a call, animation theme ...etc) a background noise ( like FM radio tuning )appear and its very loud
i connect a headset ... the noise in this case appear in the left headphone only ... and there is noise in the right one
i really dont know if its software issue or hardware issue
i tried the following :-
reset factory setting
hard reset
even i changed the radio
nothing change
please help me if anyone face this issue before .

Hi there,
When i record with the audio recorder or with cam the sound is like bugged with some noise at the background , i tried the tape and clean the mic , but also not working , tried also Cyanogen 6.0 and it's more noisy ...
Do anyone know how to fix that ? i used an application called Microphone i used to change the gain to 100db and also changing the mono into stereo it's less noisy than it had to be but not complete , and it need to activate each time i reboot or quit the app , some app not work with this activated , i really need help because when i make call they cant hear me.

Download IRS with bass setup...for me is better with bass IRS, enter in expert mode and increase bass Db and set subwoofer mode

I've a very strange problem on my z1 compact with jack audio
When a part of music is at low volume or simply decreasing volume the output sound become crappy similar to speaker's crackling but only at low volume.
isn't a connection problem of the jack audio because moving it does't change anything and i've tried different headset/ audio amplifier turn on airplane mode and the problem persist
Someone have a idea to fix this?
I really don't have idea of what can be, today audio trought jack was good but now is crappy ?
Randomly this problem appear, i think is a hardware problem and not connection (can be DSP damaged?)

what can be? i try to restore original system with sony pc companion with no success (also the bootsound is crappy) but randomly sound good

I found a temporary fix for this problem
The problem appear only after reboot. But
If i use internal earpiece at least one time (doesn't matter how telegram whatsapp or simply start a call) the problem is fixed until next reboot!

in MIUI 9.5.13.0 Global ROM i found mitxer_parths.xml in /vendor/etc and also found Volume configuration settings in lines beginning from 1842 for handset (should be the upper handset speaker volume) and headphone beginning on line 1897.
Also, basic volume settings are given in lines beginning with 339 ff...
I didn´t find any special settings for bluetooth volume though... my impression is that the volume via BT is quite low compared to other devices... does anybody know how that can be boosted?

Try Viper4android, or another audio enhancer
