STK
Question: I have STK with a cloned SIM card with 4 numbers on it. The program is called Multinumber. This lets you change between the different numbers on the SIM card. I noticed that the Multinumber window always pops up when a SMS text message is sent. It pops up at the same time that you get the Message sent bubble. Does anyone know how to stop it from doing that?

Goto Inbox, Tools, Options and Tap SMS.
call another mobile with the SIM inserted and see what number comes up?
If you have only one phone but 2 sims: send an SMS to the number of the other sim then swap sims and you should get "message from......"
Ben
You misunderstand me !
I did post this in the developers corner !?!?!
I meant how do I get the phone number from my XDA via code eVC into my program ?
Any ideas anyone ?
John
Although I havent tried it myself yet, the ExTapi function lineGetGeneralInfo should give you a structure with the subscribernumber.
Cheers!

I haven't tried to do this on the XDA but have done something similar on other phones by using the AT+C command set. From memory if you send a AT+CNUM to the phone it should respond with the subscriber number.
Does anyone know how to do this on an XDA? I would guess you need to have the wireless modem facility and then connect via this.
Cheers, Malachi
Take a look at the tstril example at this site, modifying it you can send AT commands to the modem.
Could any body please send me the eVB code for obtaining the XDA's phone number.

Phone Suite blacklist not working on WM 6

I just upgraded my T-Mobile Vario II to a WM 6 ROM. I wanted a call filtering feature so decided to give SBP Phone Suite a try. I have added a test number to my blacklist but this number still rings the phone. I have also tried it with a wildcard (*123456789 instead of 0123456789) but the call still comes through. Has anyone had this problem or am I missing something really obvious? Alternatively, are there any other free blacklist programs I could install?
Thanks in advance.

Adding a number to sim card vs Outlook

I've got Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional on O2 Xda and have noticed that it won't do something simple which bugs me.
If I dial a number or receive a call I'd then like to be able to save it to my sim card. The phone only allows saving of a number to Outlook Contacts. Saving a number to the sim currently requires opening up Sim Manager then saving the number. And I have to write down the number and copy it back in.
Oddly, if it's an existing contact the phone allows it to be saved to sim (Menu>View Contact, then with a number highlighted: Menu> Save to Sim).
So here's the challenge: is there software that would allow a dialled number or received call (perhaps from the Call History) to be saved to the sim card, with contact info as well?
Thanks
You should be able to save it either or. By default it opens outlook, but when you hit new contact, it will ask you to save in SIM or outlook! Try it one more time...
Well done ai6908, it does seem possible but there isn't an option to Save it to Outlook or SIM, it saves it straight to Outlook. I then have to also save it to SIM then find it and delete it from Outlook so it becomes about 7 steps.
I may be missing something though. Are you using WM6? If so can you talk me through how you save it directly to SIM?
Cheers
I am using a cooked WM6.1 ROM. What WM6 ROM are you using? Here is the screen print from my ROM. Thats the screen i get when i hit new in contacts. I am not sure why you dont have it. Maybe there is some reg tweak?
Interesting, I don't have this screen. Perhaps it's a tweak between WM 6.0 and 6.1. I'm using the official O2 ROM upgrade for my Tytn/Xda, which originally had WM 5.0 If there was a reg tweak I'd be game. Anyone?
My only other thought is that my Contacts software, Pocket Informant may be suppressing the option. I guess it depends on whether the screen is generated by WM or by Pocket Outlook.
Does anyone with WM6.0 know if this is down to the OS or Pocket Outlook?
Otherwise, I could try removing Pocket Informant or upgrade to WM6.1, though it seems a lot to do to be able to save to SIM.
But if I ever get round to upgrading to 6.1, which ROM did you use? How good do you find it?
Cheers
Colin
Maybe it is pocket informant! Did you try uninstalling and see if you can save it to SIM.

CTI application fro Windows Mobile 6.5 phones

Hi,
i am looking for a tool, which i could run on my pc to dial numbers on my mobile phone. I have a phone with Windows Mobile 6.5
Basicly, i like to dial numbers, on my PC, by doing copy and paste or out of my outlook contacts.
My mobile than should dial the number.
Does anybody know, if something like this is existing?
Thank you,

metoo
hey
...that's a great idea i would love to be able to dail like that, too!
Calls to mobile numbers by a Mobile phone with a mobile number flatrate can be used efficiently via Windows standard PC. No klicking by hand, no wasting time to copy the right number etc...
DO we find a here who can do this, here??
Or maybe allready there is somewhere such a nice application, hmmm?

Trouble with contact numbers on Lollipop

So, if I add the country code to my contacts, the calls will be show as an unregistered number. If I remove the country code, the texts will show as if coming from an unknown/unregistered number. This is very annoying.
Anyone have any idea on how to sort this out?

Indeed it is. I just wish I hadn't updated...
Nobody knows a solution for this ? I have this damn annoying thing to...
I found a work around. I ditched the stock messaging app for GO SMS Pro and the contacts appear fine. After that, I removed the country code from the contacts so that the names will appear when they call me.
same problem here. A phone number entered with a country code and the same number entered without country code are 2 different numbers according to my m8.....
Same problem...
i've installed dialer+ and the recent call list is right (in dialer+). The stock dialer is still showing it wrong.
So I guess it's a bug in the dialer. I'ts not possible to update or downgrade the dialer apk on a non rooted phone?!?
I use the hangouts for SMS and in contacts I have the number without Internacional prefix...
