Hi,
Does anyone know how to clear the File Explorer Network Shared Path History? I've got paths setup and it set to remember password but even after a soft reset I can re-connect to the shares over wi-fi. Now I would like to know how to remove these shares from the history?
Cheers

I had the same problem recently. Found out that BTTrayCE.lnk file was missing form \Windows\StartUp directory. You'll find it inside the .zip attachment, just copy it there. If this doesn't work try checking if three other files in the attachment are in Windows root directory. If any of them is missing - try copying it there. Hope it helps.
unfortunately all that files existes in the correct folders but when i switch on the phone a message appear concerning the file BTTrayCE.exe.
in the message is writed that it is an invalid application.
i try to copy your files but i can't.
i found that my BTTrayCE.exe is corrupted, but i can't overwite it with yours.
....any suggest....
File copy solution
Use total commander to copy the files it worked for me, Or you can hard reset and it should fix the files.
thank you, at the moment i created a new directory into the device and i did a new shortcut into startup.
it works...
I have a network drive at my home, is there any app that i can map network drive? Meaning i can acess the drive from my desire?
thanks
ASTRO File Manager has a SMB module. You could try that.
If by mapping you mean mounting, your device must be rooted and using a kernel with CIFS support.
You can then use CifsManager to manage your cifs/nfs network shares.
If you just need to browse or download files from your NAS to your phone, ASTRO or ES File Explorer will be fine.
If you want any application to be able to access your NAS seamlessly like it was a local folder, you will need CIFS support.
I just need to browse, view and delete files so ill use astro.
I need some help setting it up.
What do I enter in the server, share, domain and directory fields?
Which field do I enter the IP and the shared folder name?
Cheers

I am using ES File Explorer and have set it up to include all my cloud storage as well as shared folders on my LAN. All works great over Wi-Fi but have not managed to figure out how to set it up to access my LAN shared folders remotely over Internet.
Is it possible and if yes can you please let me know how or point me to some instructions.
So I made a mistake because I was impatient
I had found the thread on changing the ringer volume and saw it suggested to use 920 Text Editor to do so. After editing the file I kept trying to save it, but 920 kept telling me that it couldn't save the file because the directory was read-only. So in Root Explorer I kept changing permissions. First the file, then the directory, then finally the entire "system" directory. Then I learned that 920 has a setting that needs checked to allow it to make root changes. Oops.
The problem is that now when I go to change ringtones and press the plus sign to add new ones, I get "No applications can perform this action. Enable disabled built-in application?" and I click "OK" but nothing happens. I also don't show anything in my disabled apps that would be used for such an operation. The other problem I noticed is that my wifi no longer works. I can turn it on and it can connect, but it will only use my data connection.
Is there a way I can reset my phone's files' default permissions? If not, will a factory reset change them? I had previously read that factory resets don't change permissions.
I'm open to any suggestions!

I am trying to extract the Nokia Tune ringtone from my Lumia 635 running Windows 10 Mobile build 10.0.10586.456. I did a factory reset it, then did an interop unlock using Root Tool in order to gain full file system access. I used CustomPFD to enable full file system access when connected to the computer. Looking through the file system, I have been unable to find the location of the default ringtones. Does anyone know where the default ringtones are stored on Windows 10 Mobile? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
try here "PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Sounds"
Thanks, that's where it was. However, I wasn't able to access that directory via MTP. I had to use spavlin's Storage Explorer. Even then I couldn't access that folder directly, I had to manually type the path. Once I did, I could see everything in that folder. Kept scrolling until I found Nokia Tune.wma. Copied it to C:\Data\Users\Public, thinking I'd simply be able to copy it to my computer via MTP. But the file didn't show up. So I used Total Commander's WiFi feature on the phone and got it on my computer that way. Thanks for your help.
