I have not tested it.
I scanned with Trend, it is clean.
Please post if it works with XDAII and works with Hands Free profile as well.
I have to go to work, no time to play with it.. DAM IT. :x

I have iMate JAM but I'd be willing to try almost anything to improve the BT stack from MS. Specifically, it doesn't seem to support factory carkits (esp. voice-dialing from the carkit, thru the phone) - the xdaII does do it with the widcomm stack...any help on this out there? I have BT tools installed but doesn't help...
It would not work on XDA2 or Jam.
Theoretically it can work on XDA2 with Widcomm BT installed but noone tested that.

It also works on XDA II. I've been using HP Stereo BT Headphones with my XDA II for months now.
What's a "cracked" version? I have tested the pda2k w/widcomm & dialing thru carkit to phone works fine -- I even tested the new rev of the 6315 from TMO & it too works fine...so I gots to get this JAM workin'! --can't fall behind!!

Blue tooth
Hi I have tried to post on here a few times but no replies yet.
I have to appologise as I am new to this.
I have XDA2s and am wanting the best possible bluetooth set up for use with hands free, (my device is ck3000 parott) I accept that at present cant voice dial but would like consistant decent connection.
I have updated radio rom to 1.10.00 and blue tooth to 3900 but still not great, sometimes fine and then crap.. If I clear pairings on car kit and phone then soft reset phone then re pair device it works ok, but this is a real arse ache everytime I get in and out of my car.
can anyone help would it be worth upgrading to this BT version or indeed is it likely to be compatable

For anyone that's interested:
My XDA2s works perfectly with my nokia CK-7W car kit with the standard widcomm software - only for phone audio as you'd expect - xda2s detects the car kit as soon as i turn it on. The only function I can't get it to work with is the voice dial. it does last number redial, answer, reject etc.
It also pairs with my computer and hotsync etc works nicely - no problems there. I was able to pair it with my wife's nokia 6310 and swap MP3/AAC files from the nokia to the xda2s (not that it knew what to do with an atrac ), but can't seem to do it the otherway round as the xda2s only seems to let you push 'obex' calendar, contact etc objects, not files etc.
One question - can I assign a button to toggle bluetooth on and off - i'd prefer not to have to go back to the start menu and turn it on that way - i'd prefer just to press a button on it as i'm getting in the car
You might try using this little app and map h/w button to it. It will toggle bluetooth on/off. Originally for Smartphones but hey it works for me on XDA2 so I'm not quite sure if it's gonna work on widcomm stack but worth a try eh?
nokia CK-7W car kit
Got a nokia CK-7W car kit for my XDA2 only to find out it doesn't work. Could you give me some help with the way you got yours to work ? Where do you find standard widcomm software ?
Thanks

Sorry mine is the XDAiis - it works because it has the half decent WIDCOMM stack on it, not the MS stack in use in the XDA2.
Sorry i can't be more help - don't know if you can rip out the MS stack and use WIDCOMM / Broadcomm drivers instead?

One thing Im loving about this device is the upgraded bluetooth as opposed to my Universal (AKU 3.2). Stereo over bluetooth finally works well now when I'm standing more than one meter away from my device, actually I got it to reach approx. 15m . No more skipping during songs. Im glad that my investment into the HBH-DS970 headphones paid off. Also caller id is working great the headphones.
The only problem I have right now is that I cant initialize Microsoft Voice COmmand from the headset. I've tried the registry hacks that I used on my Exec, as well as a downloaded patch but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions...

The artemis aku is 3.0. The upgraded part I meant that The artemis has bluetooth 2.0 as opposed to 1.2 in the universal. And btw the music quality is pretty good in the headphones. The range has also been improved, I can about 15-20meters before it starts skipping with my sonh headphones
MS voice command error
I've installed MS voice command 1.5 UK OK, but when I try to run it or when the device soft resets I get the error "Voice command has encountered a problem. Restart Voice Command and try again." Restarting or reinstalling does no good.
Has anyone any ideas, I'm lost without it?
Thanks
After doing a hard reset I had a similar problem. It actually works fine for a while but then the error pops up. Maybe a new version of VC is needed for this phone

Hello
I have a Seat Leon with preinstalled bluetooth in-car.
I used to have dutty v1 installed on my hermes and everything was great!
When I installed Black 2.5 then I was able to pair the phone with the car but after a minute the connection is dropped.
same problem happens with dutty v2 and the newest lvsw
you know what is wrong with the new version? newest bluetooth?
any ideas?
i was going to start o similar topic... but i've seen yours... the reason... happy with wm6 and the car kit
so.. i have o parrot 3400LS-GPS car kit... and when i conected the phone to it for the first time it showed the signal strength and battery state... with wm5 i had nothing.... and the coolest thing is that i have also carrier's name... at first it was eandomly shown... but i think i figured it out... if it is on 3g it does not display the carrier's name... but on gsm it does... BUT if i disable the longnameprefix in regedit it also shows the carrier on 3g.. but on this i still got to test....
anyway no BT drops...
spv m3100
radio 1.41.
hardspl 2.10 oli
dutty v2 premium
Same on Audi A6, Black 2.5 (and latest LVSW) drop BT connection. Sucks.
i guess microsoft broke some compatability with this os build in a few weeks there might be a new os build....heh
Same issue here
working with an older version of LSVW (can't recall which one) and a 2006 Audi S4 -- pairs fine, shows signal strenght and other details not shown with WM 5.0, but drops and reconnects randomly. Very irritating. I don't use bluetooth anymore in my car -- a tremendous shame.

Hi, I don't know if this will solve your problem but here goes anyway. When I first got my phone (Orange SPV M3100), I could not connect to installed BT system in my Audi A4. I understand from what I have read that this is due to a slight difference in BT specification used by WM to that used by mobile phone manufactures. I had similar problems as you describe above - all fixed since I installed software from JetWare (use google to find). Hope this helps.

hrmm, I'll try that too but my question is that my phone used to work just fine, now with the latest rom the problems with bluetooth started, that's what I am pointing out.
Hi all.
I've a Seat Leon too, with bt integrated.
Since i upgraded to first WM6, i have no problems with hands free, but i must get the PDA on. If i put PDA off, BT starts to disconnects and reconnects, and finally BT goes off.
With all WM5 i've tested, the BT disconnects and reconnects every time with the PDA on.
Think there is an issue with the way the handsfree get info from the phone, cause normal phone works without this issue.
Regards.
Im also using Pro 2.5 and have noticed that my BT for my Handsfree car kit is playing up. I can connect and it works but when I leave the car and come back I need to shut down and then restart Bluetooth to reconnect. Bit of a pain atm.
try the widcomm stack
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1234724&postcount=507
Also having problems, Parrot Rhythm 'n Blue, it droppes during calls and reconnects after a minute (not always).
I already use Jetware, so I fear that doesn't do the trick. According to the reactions in this thread this really seems to be a problem...

Ok thanx, I'll try that and report back...
It's the BT implementation in the phone (either HTC or Microsoft), other phones work fine. Anyho: for me the previous LVSW (03-26) works fine and since I don't need the other 'stuff', I'm using that release.

as said: I use the jetware software already and got the same problems... not always, but frequently.
I'm currently using Black 2.5 w/an '07 Infiniti FX and have zero dropout issues. I love it actually, I got in my car this morning and it reconnected automatically when I got a phone call, no problem

guys, finally the jetware did the job, the bluetooth stopped on keep disconnecting, let's hope that MS will fix the problem on the next release.
Hi all, another SEAT Leon driver with bluetooth handsfree problems here
My Vodafone v1605 suffered the dropout problem when it was on the stock Vodafone ROM.
I used the WM Black 2.0 ROM for about a day before the 2.5 ROM came out and didn't suffer the problem.
Since going to Black 2.5 I have suffered the problem intermittently. When the phone is running on battery it frequently disconnects/reconnects. However it appears to be pretty stable when on charge in the Brodit powered mount. I would guess that the major difference is that when on charge the phone doesn't go into standby mode.
I am tempted to go back to 2.0 and test for a while longer, especially as my device code has been updated with 2.5 so TomTom is not currently activated

Same problem. It worked for me with earlier WM6 releases, but with the latest version, I've the same problem. the only solution I think is to buy a new one!
Same Problem Here. any body found any solution?
First a BIG thanks to all for the fantastic work being done on this site. I too have the same problem with my HS850 connecting fine but having no sound. Has anyone been able to solve this HS850 problem? I've tried for 3 days without success
mine works
hs850 works fine on vp3g 3.0. Pair and go, no hassle.

I am using Dopod M700 with WM5. Working well with Motorola HS850. Then I flashed to Artemis Touch 2.1 WM6. The problem is when my call comes in, after I pressed on the answer button, no sound. Just a connected/disconnected sound. Doesn't even work with a2dp also.
Mines working with vp3G 3.62. Just make sure you check "handset" when u choose services.
I dont know what dialer you're using, but at least with the Kaiser dialer, a little headset icon appears in the dialer if you have it paired and the boom out. Might check that too.
What sort of bluetooth does the orbit have, is it MS/widcomm/broadcomm?
Basically i want to use a particular software, and the requirements say this
'MS Bluetooth Stack (WIDCOMM / Broadcom is NOT supported)'
I tried the software on my XDA iis with no luck, but i believe that it has broadcomm.
Thanks in advance.
A software package I run on my Artemis (Labview PDA vs8) requires MS BT only, and it works fine for me, what is it you are trying to run? - Mike

Well if you believe it is a Broadcomm, then the software acts like it should, by not supporting the BT Stack, doesn't it?
well yes, but i want to know wether the software will work on the artemis. the software is btcrawler, you may have trouble finding it, as it is discontinued, but thanks for your replies.
If it need the MS stack then it will work on the Artemis, put it on and try it - Mike
By default has Orbit/Artemis m$hit bt stack. I tried 2 make widcom/broadcom from HTC Universal's (helmi_c) but i never made HFree profile 100% working(not even on Uni) - no chance to answer call with pressing button on BT Headset
alright, now i got it Sorry...
You're right, i did not find the Tool, but i had not very much time searching for it, but i think it will work with the Artemis BT Stack.
okay, thanks a lot for everyones replies.
