Look for ways to conserver power but not waste time either:
Off: Wifi
Off: Bluetooth
Off: Gprs
Off: Incoming Beams (infrared)
Off: Sounds
Thats just off the top of my head. Now obviously some of those listed use much more power than others? What really makes a difference?
Is there something to scale the ARM cpu?
How about the Backlight?
Xcupscalar can help you

Does anyone have any power saving tips for WM6, specifically using the Exalibur model.
All I've done was lower the display and backlight timeout settings. And whenever I'm not using it, I've placed it in locked mode.
I remember with my old PDA in Windows Mobile 2002, that when I pressed the off button, it would simply hibernate or go into standby showing the home screen immediately when I turned it on. It seems that locking is the only way for quick access.
So if anyone has any other power management tips, I'd appreciated them.
Thanks
Disable OBEX if it's on, ensure wi-fi is disabled if not in use, & if you over clocked use a program that lowers the cpu cycles when the display is dim or off.
hello, what is OBEX? what program work fine for underclock the S620?
thanks
I use tornado power control & OMAP Clock. OBEX is file transfer over bluetooth. The Dash calls it Beam, not Beam as in Infrared since the Dash doesn't have IR.
also dim your LED to blik only when notification pending, use program DoNotForget
OK, I like the new Straight Talk feature. The mute button is great too. I just have a few issues with it would like to make a few changes...
1. If I pick it up and it's muted, would it unmute automatically?
2. Can I reduce the sensitivity of the face-down detection? I would like to use this in my car, but no surface is horizontal enough. Even when I can find a surface level enough, it doesn't remain that way as the phone buzzes at me when I put on the brakes or go 'round a corner.
3. The debounce on the mute button seems off- how can I adjust that?
BB
2. I don't know if you can reduce the sensitivity, but if you press the "speaker" button on the screen you can just set it down and not worry about it being level (not as convenient as just turning it over, but at least you don't have to worry about the shifting surface).
No ideas about the other two.
I've already got a few power saving options checked with Suite Tools, what does the "Save Power" do in Quick Settings?
I didn't notice screen brightness adjust when I activated, just wondering what else it does.

I think it's conserves the cpu usage, reduces the brightness, turns off haptic feedback and disables data when screen off.

I've already limited CPU to 1 core & 1Ghz, reduced brightness and disabled data/gps when screen is off through Suite Tools, just didn't do haptic feedback.
Thanks for the clarification.
1 core with 1GHz will not save any power.
In single core mode, cpu will be clocked max, almost all the time to hande all tasks. It will take longer for cpu to compute = more time cpu stressed = more power consumption.
Limit cpu to dual-core 1-1,2GHz.

Vzw Samsung Note 4 (no root)
Any way to automatically turn on and off Ultra Low Power Setting at a specific time?
ie tasker
Pretty sure you will need root. To stimulate screen taps for that. But I'm not a Tasker pro.
Can't find another question like this one... so here goes:
Just got a Moto 360 for 149.99 USD and its great so far.
Did that force update to 5.1.1, this one worked for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/moto360/comments/3ahj1l/a_surefire_way_to_force_the_511_update/
Now I look into turning off the screen when its charging, only to run into a very strange issue...
In the developer options, which you can enable using 10 taps on the build number in about, there are two options:
1) stay awake while charging
2) burn-in protection
Burn-in protection will NOT save the check when your restart, so in essence, is useless.
However I found that using stay awake while charging DOES indeed turn off the screen, but here's the catch: you have to set it to ENABLED.
Don't believe I have ever seen a setting on android that required it to be on, to be off...
But hey, it does work, on mine at least.
Also the whole "just hit the button to make the screen go off" ONLY works in Theater Mode! And I personally dont like pushing a button to check the time.
If Theater Mode is off, it will just brighten the screen for around 2 seconds, then dim again.
Here's my question, what does that burn-in protection do anyways? Just pixel shift over time? Why can't it be enabled?
Hope this helps some people!
that setting does nothing for me
the screen stays awake regardless of ENABLED or DISABLED
funny how motorola hasn't fixed this yet
just put watch in "Theater mode" before charging
and it would switch the screen off on charger too

It started on mine, in the dock. Every few minutes everything on the display jumps in size from small to large and vice visa
The staying awake feature is backwards. Crazy
Sent by entanglement.
I restarted mine after setting to enabled, also ambient / theater mode are both off.
Hi,
as ShadowVlican wrote: just enable the theater mode to switch the screen off during charging. It is also important, the you undo any changes you did in the developer menu ("stay awake while charging" and the "burn in protection" as well).

Yeah, no. My screen turns off for 10 seconds then just becomes dim black with backlight again.
Is there no damn working solution?!
