GPRS - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Can anybody tell me how to quit my GPRS connection after use? I can't find anywhere I can stop it...tnx!

I use Spb GPRS Monitor (works with any data connection, I have a CDMA phone), which provides a 'Disconnect' button both on the Today Screen, and as a pop-up from the icon in the title bar.

I believe you can just press the "hang up" button for like 3-5 seconds.

ok, tnx... I'll try

Turn off GPRS

How do you turn off GPRS when it's turned on? On the original XDA, you click the icon in the header bar and it gave you disconnect option, the 2s doesn't have that option.
I miss the same thing : possibility to stop GPRS from the same place you started it...
The only easy way I know is to keep the red phone hardware button pressed for some time. It eventually does disconnect GPRS.
Hope this helps.
Goto wireless manager, and press on the GPRS icon, which turns it off
killing GPRS
If you click on the Phone Icon....you can go into "Flight Mode" and this kills GPRS.

You can also press the end call button (red button) for some seconds. GPRS connection will be droped.
for me, gprs shuts off on its own. How do i set it to always on ?
for example, when i check mail, it connects to GPRS just fine, once done, GPRS shuts down.
Any idea anyone ?

S2U2 Slide to unlock activation

Instead of pressing the power off button, I would like to assign S2U2 activation to the long press Phone Off button. Hopefully without bringing in AEButton and the like.
Anyone with more experience in S2U2 knows the answer?
"start"
"settings"
"buttons"
change "button1 (hold)
then drag at "2"the prog "s2u2"
and if you press the pickup fone key for a long time then s2u2 starts

No, I want to reserve that button for rotating screen.
I have no use for the ok/back button, and like to use that to activate s2u2 instead.
Anyone knows how to do that?
Hi all.
I've installed S2U2 on my HD.
Looks nice.
But when I answer a call, the display goed to black.
So after all my 'disable sleep in call" adjustments, now I have the same problem again.
Anybody the same problem?
And a solution??
Thanks in advance!!

It happens on all HTC HD devices, even original uncooked ones.
Just click the back button when the screen goes black.
The phisical back button on the device.

Thanks,
I already did that with HD tweak, I think I solved it by a S2U2 setting...
It just went to black immediately after slide to answer.
Now the screen stays on, dims after a while, but that's ok.
I'm seachring also for a method to put s2u2 on the phone button, so instead of the "HD-Key Lock" s2u2 will be activated. Is this possible?

Not as I know - first single press and then long press.
But, you might try some programs that activate the speakerphone automatically (e.g. a program called... yes: 'Speakerphone' )
maybe you can program them to turn it on only when connected to mains without ActiveSync connection.
