good time to every one
i have a Qtek 1010. i bring it from saudi arabia ot USA. but it is not working. they told me it is dual band and should be changed to triband.
i do not know how to change it or how to fix it.
is there any one can help me.
Check the rear sticker on the device, since you brought it from SA it's most propabely is PW10A which means it's 900/1800 MHz while USA work with 900/1900 MHz bands (PW10B).
So, unless you can find a network with 900 MHz, you will not be able to use this device there.
I 'm not aware of any process to transform XDA I to be tri-band. If you must, then get a XDA II device

maybe this one will help
it can of cause not be made triband because that would require
a change of all the gsm hardware in the phone

Hi there,
I just bought a zenfone 2 in Japan and brought it back to France. Everything is working fine except for the 4g that is never "detected" by my phone even though the model I bought is supposedly 4g compatible. I only get the H+ symbol (whereas I had no issue getting it with the same sim on my previous phone)
Now I now that Orange in France uses frequencies 800 Mhz and 2600 Mhz for the 4g but I can't manage to find the information for the japanese version of my phone that was bought sim free (not through an operator like ntt docomo or else). And I don't know if it can be changed in a way or another.
Any idea how to debug this and eventually correct it if it is only possible ?
My zenfone is rooted as I figured it might maybe help to tweak something..
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply.
However, on the link you provided it is specified that the 4g capabilities of my phone (ZE551ML) with a worldwide firmware (WW) which I flashed on my phone are as follows:
"FDD-LTE: (WW)
2100MHz(1)/1900MHz(2)/1800MHz(3)/1700MHz
AWS(4)/850MHz(5)/2600MHz(7)/900MHz(8)/800MHz(20)"
I'm not sure how to interpret it but as my carrier specifies the 4G frequencies for FDD are 800Mhz and 2600Mhz it should be fully compatible ?
As for the APN I set it just as specified on my carrier website.
My phone still seems limited to HSPA+.
Same issue
My phone was bought from India. I now live in the UK and I don't get 4G on channel 20, 800MHz. My phone it's not rooted. My software begin is WW. No 4G. The disclaimer seems to be a bit deceptive.
You are out of luck I think. The Japanese model has LTE bands 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,18,19 & 28. Orange in France uses LTE bands 7 & 20. So you are stuck with 3G unfortunately.
I bought an elephone p8000 but cant use it no calls , sms or data works. In engineer mode I can see GMS 1900mhz and 3G 850 mhz but disabled.
So I cant use the cellphone in my country.
there is a way to get it to work on different frequencies? Its software or hardware restriction? if its hardware it can be replaceable?
Please answer me I want to know that information. Thank you ver much.
Double post, same question as earlier posts. Check before you buy.
Hello everybody,
is it possible to enable LTE band on my phone?
Thank you so much
i think you don't use sprint sim and leave out usa us me, i tried everything without any solution, i can just use 3G
There myt b a solution for indian users to use lte on sprint in india
If any solution for Indian users pls someone post here
Hello Guys, i purchased a unlocked version of LG G4 uS991 model in US hoping that mobile will work for international bands. Per specification LTE Bands 2/4/5/12/13/17/25, CDMA 800, 1900 MHz, WCDMA 850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz* is supported and 1800MHZ is supported for any carrier in India. I only face issue with the Mobile Internet, it does not detect APN settings, or anything & am able to call, receive SMS.
I tried searching for rooting, unlock bootloader In this forum but no luck for LG g4 us911 model.
Appreciate your help in providing me the required links, suggestion to bring back the power of G4.
Thanks, Rithick
