the problem was only noticable with internet explorer, with mozilla there was an error message, but the rest of the page displayed just fine.
I removed the offending line, don't know why it failed.

I get an error on my XDA2s, when I try to start the camera:
"Failed to initialize camera. Please reset the hardware. 36001:1:100:2"
I did this, but still no joy.
I tried to search for a CAMERA cab on here, but can't find anything that works.
My device is WM2003.
Can anyone help?

I had this issue after updating the ROM. I needed to update the operator software to fix it (in this case from orange). You may also find that media player wont load as it cannot find any skins. Let us know how you get on.

I installed DashWeather on my TMobile Dash (unlocked and app unlocked).
The first time, i used it, it worked fine. Got the current weather, forecast, radar etc.
But now when i run it, if i try to get current conditions or forecast, i get an error "general error" and the messgae detail says it might be the location ID which is not the case. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and everything. Its th elatest version 1.03 i think.
has anyone else faced this? Any suggestions?

I just started experiencing the same problem in the last two days. I know the location is right and now get an error message:
"General error (i.e your guess is as good as mine)...possibly a location ID error. Fix Location ID and try again. Location ID = 55408."
This error occurs whether I am entering a zip code or a city location.

i downloaded livesearchWM6.com from the official website and when i loaded it, it gave me an error saying its unexpected, error cannot be displayed then i hit details and it says argumentexception, an error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found

I, too, am getting a LiveSearch error. However, mine was working just fine until I had to reestablish the partnership with my desktop.
Unexpected error in LiveSearch.exe
File or assembly name 'Core,

or one of its dependencies, was not found.
I would suggest to uninstall it and then try to reinstall it again and see if this happens again.
hi i have a htc touch pro2 from us cellular and im having a problem running emulators on my phone. Ive tried running now both the pocketgba and the pocketgnuboy and i keep getting the same error for both. The error is "The file 'Pocketgnuboy' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the Proble persists, try reinstaling or restoring the file." Ive saved both of them to my SD card and im not sure if thats the problem.
So if anyone can help and show me what to do to fix this problem and how to do install etc. then it would be greatly appreciated thankxx..

I'm pretty sure others will help out soon with advice re. app unlocking (or whatever it is called on modern devices), or sdkcerts or similar, however that error message rings a bell for a different reason... On my previous phone I was using a util to alter shortcut's properties (sorry, it was a while ago now, but the specifics won't matter.) Upon seeing the error msg, I was initially convinced I had somehow restored the phone to it's original status of not trusting unsigned CABs, or not allowing certain software. HOWEVER, I eventually noticed that running the EXEs directly (File Explorer/Resco Explorer/Total Commander) meant the apps would work fine, it was just the start menu's shortcuts that gave that error, but not even on all shortcuts.
Short version, while you wait for a more knowledgeable person to come along and guide you through the more likely/common issues, is try navigating to \program files\YOUR APP NAME\your_app_name.exe , run it. If the program works fine, all you'll need to do is navigate to \windows\start menu\ and delete the non-functioning shortcut, and create a new one.

I'm trying to load RV27RC03 image to my A1-810 however Toolkit is advising that it can't write to cache/system.img.gz as 'permission denied'
I've seen a couple of posts having the same problem but can't find how they solved it.
I'm hesitant to randomly try stuff in fear of bricking it.
I've already tried several times running Toolkit as an Administrator.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Turned out the predictive text dictionary was causing an error when 'the screen gets taken over'
Was writing Telstra instead of telnet.
