Kindly update your post with GSI title.

Kindly Ban him --> @sazegar67
The given download link file is not a Flashable ROM. Its a GSI Image and that too incompatible with our device "Samsung Galaxy Note 10"
Even it isn't be compatible to mentioned Samsung S10 devices. The author @sazegar67 is misleading users here and wasing their internet data for his fun. I urge XDA Moderators to take strict actions on him to stop such activities in XDA Forum.

A GSI is a Generic System Image, designed to be compatible with any device. The image can be installed to /system in TWRP. It may not be a full ROM, but it should still work on the Note 10.
For those who are interested in flashing this GSI to their device, see my guide here.
@sazegar67 if you don't mind, please edit your post to reflect that this is a GSI.
Lastly, as a warning to all: We do not issue bans or take punitive action against other members without reasonable cause. We NEVER do it at the behest of another member. Asking us to do so is considered a personal attack against them and will carry severe consequences.

Hi guys, I was looking at rooting my phone. However there are some issues I have with it that hopefully you guys can rectify.
How can I update?
What is the most popular rom?
Is it worth rooting?
My main reason for rooting is getting rid of the bloatware from samsung and optus on my phone. I also want to customize Nova launcher with icon themes but I can do that without a root. What other things can I do with my phone with a root?
Is rooting hard? And how do I backup my phone before I do it? Searching around on here I came across an app called Titanium Backup but you have to be rooted to backup with that?
There is so many more questions I want to ask, but I will leave it at this for now.
Thank you!

Bumping your topic after a couple of house inst going help. Could just end up getting topic closed/deleted. This is not your phones tech support desk and nobody here owes you an answer so when you create a topic be patient. Also not putting "help me please" as topic title would help, just be precise and descriptive about what topic is about.
To answer questions..
1. You flash rom through custom recovery.
2. There is no such thing as a "best" rom and asking this question is against rules.
3. Yes.
I would highly recommend you do some reading/research.

1) I can do this through Odin correct?
2) Ok, what is the most popular rom?
3) Ok.
Should I change my kernel to a different one than stock? My friends said it helps performance and battery life, but I don't know how stable they are. Could someone suggest a good one?
Last time I rooted my old phone I did a bad job of it, I lost all my stuff and I don't want it to happen this time.
If I buy Titanium Backup could this prevent this? I want to be able to update the ROM how can I do this, and what rom would you suggest in this case?
Thank you.

I already answered this earlier, please try and read.
Some ROM's like Cyanogenmod for example have inbuilt rom downloaders which will enable you to download next version and then flash it automatically.
However process is same, simply download new rom, reboot into rescue and then flash next version. No wipe is needed if its same base/version. You only need to wipe if going to new rom/base etc. Wipe will only wipe data partition on internal, your external is untouched.

Managed to root my stock rom.
If anyone is interested in doing this see the sticky in the n7105 thread the guy shows you how to install a custom recovery and install supersu 2.0 through that.
It is also great to try different roms, you can backup and install multiple roms to your liking.

The only issue I see here is that by installing the base ROM it gives you a vendor partition to play with. If you're coming from a cleanly flashed device, the vendor partition just doesn't show up in OrangeFox.
This method can work, provided there's some tutorial on how to create a vendor partition.

Hi, this is the first time try treble project. So if i flashed cardinal aosp rom , so i don't need to flash vendor.imj again right? Then all i need is to format data left the vendor partition untouch is it?
i have issue:
there's an internal problem with your device. contact your manufacturer for details
and after click Ok, it's reboot to recovery, can you help me please
the install on this is basically the same as mine ?
hope you continue my work flawless...
A bit of advice:
don't forget to flash gcam api2 for gcam to work properly... ???
careful with your instructions don't try to change a lot, and don't forget that vendor only method needs to be done after a treble base rom as been flashed at least one time on your phone, and dotos vendor break VoLTE, change bright levels and lead to some bugs as you can read on my thread, some users got problems with that vendor...
Let users choose best kernel, and if possible put link to threads instead of download links, because in threads users can see if things got updated...
Good luck...

Just read the sticky post. It clearly states that when you post here you must be the developer of what you post. In my opinion vendor images certainly don't belong here and should go to the guides, news and discussion section.
To the OP. Thanks for the offer to host and yes I think it's a great idea. Please request from one of the Moderators to move this thread to whereever they feel is appropriate. Then just do your thing. It would be cool if it ended up being by a repository of all months. Also modem/bootloader updates would be cool.

Is there going to be a TWRP for OP 7T or not? I want to root my OP 7T so much yet I don't know how to do it or what version to use.. yes I'm a noob at this.. All I know is that with TWRP it's gonna be a lot more easier..
So.. does anyone know if there's gonna be a TWRP for the OP 7T?
Thanks!!
They are giving full focus for Android 100 soon, so yeah probably. When? Not sure.

From what I have read there working on it but android 10 in 7t is so different it will take time to make one that works, it does not work the same as android 9 does. The root methods out there do work, my 7t came with a version of Q I could not find any patched boot images for but was still able to root it using one of the methods listed in the forums. Its not at all like using TWRP. I first went to fastbootd then booted to a modded TWRP that was useful only to use as a way to access the factory boot image and run ADB commands and pull it from the device to my PC then back to my internal storage .. Reboot from there (which will seem like your going to brick your device since the TWRP will say there is no OS installed, but there is,, it boots fine) onxce back up I used magisk manager to patch that extracted boot image and then reboot back to fastbootd push it back onto the device then reboot and its rooted. Without TWRP to flash (as the modded only give ADB access) you use magisk to flash mods and if you want a custom kernel you use a kernel manager that can backup and flash the new kernel. I was able to put bluespark kernel as well and xXx mod, james DSP works fine also. Waiting for TWRP to mess with Viper4android.

Flashing Step is simple. Firstly install custom recovery in your miui a9 and than from it flash miuipro and after flashing don't reboot just flash A10 recovery can be lrtwrp or orange fox. And yup don't flash preloader and lk in your a9 build.
And if you are in miui a10 than first flash lrtwrp and after that ofox zip if you want ofox(found in telegram official channal) and from any recovery simply flash miui pro.
