Korean "KR_open" firmwares from lg-firmwares.com to crossflash ? - LG G8 Questions & Answers

Hello
I have a lot of phones calls issues with my Korean LG U+ G820N in France : some calls never come to the phone it does not ring but people get voicemail even when trying dozen of times, I don't have VoLTE or VoWifi.
I think that the lack of VoLTE is causing those issues as it's a most robust network nowadays.
I was looking for an amercian open firware while I discovered that there are Korean firmares listed as "Korean_open" on this website.
Has anyone tried those firmwares ? Are they causing issues ? Is field test menu available in those kdz ?

VOLTE Question Concerning Fulmics ROM

My carrier, Three UK has recently rolled out Voice Over LTE (VOLTE) in the UK since the LG G3 supports VOLTE (Hardware wise since it supports 800 Mhz on the LTE Band). The only problem is it is currently only working for devices that run on the Three firmware and I have the unbranded European model. I have the firmware as a KDZ file and it works, however VOLTE doesn't work on Fulmics ROM 5.3 since when I make a call it switches to 3G instead of 4G.
Since the implementation of VOLTE is software based is there anyway to port it over to Fulmics ROM?
Any ideas?
Hmm I might be wrong but I do believe this is the correct functionality of VOLTE. The voice gets transferred over the 4G connection, and you get to keep the 3g internet connection active simlultaneasly.
Otherwise without having 4G you would just drop the data connection while having the call.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but would you mind telling me how to obtain the correct firmware?
Three's website doesn't offer a VoLTE compatible firmware for the G3, but offers the workaround of using the Three inTouch app. I don't want to use that, because reviews of the app are not promising.

Get RWC CSC on US FW

To get the US Beta that is bound to launch soon, I have flashed US unlocked (XAA) firware on my Canada S9 (G960W). After flashing everything except USER_DATA, it worked and now my S9 appears as a SM-G960U., which is normal.
The device is now on XAA CSC. However I would like to know if I can get back my RWC CSC (probably involving flashing) because now I have no VoLTE, no RCS, no HD Voice, slower LTE speeds and no Call Spam protection. Otherwise I have no issues, except for S Members now being rendered useless and Samsung+ not appearing in any stores. TIA
EDIT: I am on ARIB.
EDIT2: Now my text messages don't work at all. Anyone can help me please?

F500 VoLTE support?

Does F500 support VoLTE natively?
I have a Korean F500L(on the motherboard) [F500S30d software version] on the stock 7.0 Nougat operating overseas and when I'm in an area where there is no 3G coverage (but LTE only) I suddenly cannot make any calls. There is reception and I can use data, but no calls.
Tried manually choosing a different carrier (one with 3G coverage) - there's no option to do that in the Networks menu.
Tried checking VoLTE in the Hidden Menu - there's no Field Test menu (where Modem Settings are supposed to be).
I assume VoLTE doesn't work for me, is there a way to force it? I'm willing to juggle different firmwares if that might help.

My LG G8 has lost signal but still recognize SIM card.

Hello everyone, my phone is LG G8 Korean SK telecom, i have been using my phone for over one and half years without mobile network problem, except its signal quite weak and the phone restarted frequently. Last week it suddenly lost signal (no signal at all, not rotating icon) though it still prompt me to enter SIM lock password. I had tried different ways like factory reset and even flash kdz to older and current Android version but nothing happened. Can anyone encountered this case help me ?
Hello,
No fix for you but I also have a lot of calling issues with my Korean G820N (LGU+). Most people calling me get the ringtone and my voicemail but I have NOTHING on the phone..... So, I miss calls and was forced to install a voicemail app to know if people called me or not....
I'm thinkign to flash a US KDZ but if you could give a quick feedback of your problem it could help me.
