Question Dead boot - Vivo X80 Pro

Hello there,
I've tried converting Chinese to Global firmware Vivo X80 pro (unlocked bootloader and rooted) and ends up with completely dead bricked after flashing all files on fastboot it's rebooted on a black screen and never went on again!
Can't boot into fastboot mode neither recovery but its can connect to pc via USB-C which is USB-3.1 only! My pc recognize it as "USB root hub" so what does that mean? Please if there is any solution to consider?
Best regards

why do you do something like this without reading beforehand?
You can't flash to the global version. If you're lucky, your Vivo is now a brick.

Locked bootloader, stuck in recovery mode.

Hello guys.
I recently bought this phone and wanted to use netflix, but didn't allow me because it outdated and said it was not compatible with my phone. So I did a bit of research and found a post in "mi community" that said it was because phone had bootloader unlocked. The phone was new and I didn't change anything of it, but I found the bootloader was unlocked.
Installed fastboot and adb drivers, locked bootloader and got myself into a... Brick?
-I can still load into fastboot.
-If I turn on the phone, It tries to load android but loads Mi-Recovery 3.0 instead. Recovery also says "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device"
I'm so lost from this point, I need to know if there is a way to flash any rom, and which one do I need.
Thanks in advice
stuck on recovery
Most likely a chinese phone that came with global rom. If it came with global rom try flashing chinese rom and then unlocking bootloader and reflash global. Do not lock bootloader after flashing global.

Try searching for tools below which might help.
Saki / XiaomiADBFastbootTools
XiaomiADBFastbootTools-6.5.1-Win
I had hard bricked mine and had to take back off and use EDL to revive.

I don't find the way to reboot (via software) to EDL from fastboot, is still possible to access it by opening the phone?

If you can flash global ROM. I think you just need to unlock bootloader and then flash China ROM once you have unlocked bootloader.
China ROM link below

It lets me flash de global one, but when I try to do the same with chinese rom, it says the version is lower, so I can't "downgrade".
It's weird because according to version number, the global one was a few versions lower
Solved the issue
The same issue , i was also encountered , After Flashing with "Xiaomi_Mi_Max_3_V10.2.1.0.PEDMIXM_20190226.0000.00_Global_9.0" Mi Max 3 with the MiFlash20191206 tool , by default the tool used "Clear data and Lock".
The tool saying "Flashing" and my phone got rebooted and went to MI Recovery 3.0 and also i got the message as
"This MIUI version can't be installed on this device".
I am not clueless how to proceed. So downloaded the Chinese version and again i tried to flash with above tool. Now tool said that "Can't Erase Locked" phone.
So Now i connected to Miflash_unlock with fastboot and connected to mi account and again i unlocked the phone.
Now my phone automatically booted to the Global version.
So i hope the issue is selecting the option as "Clear data and lock" . We need to select only "Clear data" in the flash tool.

Hi there,
I encountered the same issue. I tried to flash some CN Rom without enough research, without knowing that you can't just flash an Android 10 rom from 9 directly by recovery (even TWRP). So I ended up Fastboot or TWRP but never able to boot into system. Fortunately I didn't flash my Max3 by fastboot rushly, so my phone was still unlocked.
This is how I solved it:
1. Download an official CN ROM (the below I used is MIUI 11 with Android 9.9.x);
I can't post link here but search "miui通过线刷升级" - you shall see a miui.com link ending with shuaji-393.html. That's the page I download the Mi Max3 ROM from.
2. Use MiFlash to flash the official ROM with the flash option "clean all", NOT "clean All and lock";
3. The phone shall reboot into system, give it 5-10 minutes;
4. Flash the miui.eu ROM you like (DO make sure it is Android 9 tho) by recovery (tutorial given under every official xiaomi.eu ROM download).
Again it's easy to search
It took me less than an hour to do it (I don't have much experience with new XiaoMi phone). So don't worry about bricking your phone forever.
Hope it helps to destress
Hi guys. I need some help too because I'm not totally sure what I have to do here so if anyone can give me some tips I would appreciate it.
I just ordered the 128gb 6gb ram version of Mi Max 3 and it might come with the global rom and already unlocked. Should I use the Mi flash tool to install the file MIUI 11 V11.0.3.0.PEDCNXM android 9 fastboot file? then after that installs I should lock the bootloader and then unlock it again myself with my mi own account? I just want to make sure that this is the correct way to do it.
Also after it I unlock it should I flash the newest xiaomi.eu rom with android 10 or do i have to do something else first? Thank you

I have solved it flashing a chinese rom instead global rom.
Good time of day!
I have the same problem… I mistakenly flashed the Mi flash firmware of my Rn8 Pro, with subsequent blocking (I forgot to check), which absolutely could not be done with a ROM phone from China. The phone went to bootlop. The following attempts to flash the phone with Mi flash end with a message that the phone has a blocked bootloader. SP flash flashes successfully, but the bootlop problem remains…Is there any solution to restore the phone..? Sincerely.

Note 8 Pro stuck on recovery menu with locked bootloader - Please Help!!

Hi,
I got a Chinese Redmi Note 8 Pro which I tried to convert to Global ROM but while flashing I accidently selected the "Flash & Lock" option. The phone is now stuck in recovery menu and shows "This MIUI cannot be installed on this device". The bootloader is also locked again and I am unable to reflash it using the official tool. I am able to get into Fastboot mode.
Please someone advice how can I recover the phone (even on stock Chinese ROM). The official service centres in my country are of no help as the device was not purchased locally. It seems you can get it done online by paying someone with an authorized MI account but I am a bit hesitant to go that way.
I have found lots of guides and youtube videos using SP Flash tool, MTK tools etc but it is not clear if those method will work in my case as my bootloader is locked. Also most of those methods seems to be for a hard bricked phone but I am atleast able to get into fast boot mode. Can someone please guide me exactly which method will work in my case? I dont mind if the phone recovers to the stock chinese rom.
Thanks

Bricked Mi 10T - Bootloader Re-Locked - MIUI 13

I have a Mi 10T purchased in Italy, and therefore coming factory loaded with a "branded" firmware RJDEUHG. It should be a Windtre modded ROM, please correct me if I'm wrong.
The latest known working ROM was the miui_APOLLOEEAHGGlobal_V12.5.3.0.RJDEUHG_da9e1c75b5_11.0.
Tired of waiting for the slow updates, compared to the unbranded global rooms, I decided to de-brand the phone and upgrade to a stock RJDEUXM.
But none of the XM firmware would load from recovery, therefore I applied and successfully unlocked the bootloader.
With the bootloader unlocked I managed to successfully flash
apollo_eea_global_images_V13.0.2.0.SJDEUXM_20220329.0000.00_12.0_eea_ad6f7ce846
apollo_eea_global_images_V12.5.12.0.RJDEUXM_20220208.0000.00_11.0_eea_664a15ed19
but both got stuck in a bootloop right after flashing.
During one of the many attempts, I used the MiFlash tool and accidentally left the default Flash & Lock option, the flashing was successful and the bootloader was locked.
At the moment I'm on V13.0.2.0.SJDEUXM, and can load onto bootloader and recovery, while, as mentioned before, the system won't load and get stuck in bootloop.
If I try to unlock the bootloader once again, the MiUnlock does not recognize the phone while in fastboot mode, remaining in the "Not connected to the phone" screen.
Any help would be really appreciated.
maybe, this is the solution, seems the same issue

if you have some lucky, boot normally

Im trying to flash the original firmware into my phone but it cant boot into edl mode, which is needed for flashing stock rom.
dont plug your phone in usb while booting into edl, most of the case it wont work if you plugged in
if it dont work, force shutdown your phone and try EDL combo again
