After Upgrading android 12 to Android 13, my pixel 6 pro stops working fingerprint.
I Tried:
- Register new fingerprints
- Soft reset
- Hard Reset
- Re-install latest firmware
- Start in safe mode
And nothing work.
Any Solution?

Capacitive buttons & quick charge not working after installing Rootless Pixel laucher
Hi everyone,
I have a HTC 10 WWE with Oreo 8.0.0 stock rom version 3.16.401.2 (Supercid 111111, S-Off, Bootloader locked)
My HTC 10 had worked perfectly before last week. After i had installed Rootless Pixel launcher for Android Go from Xda news (all two version for Android Go and AOSP), Capacitive buttons (back and recent apps) stopped working, no responsive & no function when touching . I described more details below:
1. I restarted the phone but no luck.
2. Then i tried wiping cache partition, it worked after reboot but for only 5-10 minutes, and stop immediately when the screen is off and locked.
3. I searched on Google and found the way to Safe mode. It worked longer but continued stopping soon.
4. Then i decied to do a factory reset. It liked a safe mode method, just worked for a while.
5. Ok, i kept searching and found that it's not only an issue of HTC 10, many other device encouter this issue. I tried to narrow the results by Android Oreo 8.0.0 and found this issue thread on XDA forum of Google Pixel device. It looks very closely to what i got, and this make me remember that it stopped working on the day i had tried 2 version of Rootless Pixel launcher for Android Go and AOSP on XDA news.
6. I tried the solution on the thread - install Nova launcher and do the instructions. No luck at all. But now i have very strong belief on the fact that Pixel launcher is the reason. I re-installed it again with hope that it will reset any false status and solve my phone's problem but no. It even became more annoying, i can't connect my phone to computer through the cable and the charging is not fast anymore.
7. I was so angry that time. I tried all solutions above again and again. And finally, did a factory reset in a safe mode. After reboot, it 's very exciting that everything seems to work again. It keeps working after screen is off and locked.
8. Guess what, it worked for half of a day before i logged in Facebook app and Instagram. It stopped working again. Very tired.
So that's my case. I dont know what to do now. Anyone has any idea on that? Please help me!!
so all my sensors stopped working when I upgraded to android 10, could someone with root help me with a copy of the persist partition? it seems im having the same bug that other users are having with the older pixel 3 XL
Have you tried to factory reset and see if they all come back??
I had same issue on my píxel 3a. I read a lot about it, maybe corrupt partition etc... Finally I did a simple Job. Download stock image of Pie from Google repo, open bootloader and flash vía Fastboot. Then Phone automatically update to 10. Every sensor works again. But be carefull. This is an issue with Bluetooth connections.... So as soon as I pared my headphones sensors stopped working again. So I flashed again Pie and now I have 10 with working sensors But no Bluetooth connections
All - I have recently done the OTA upgrade to MIUI 12.1.1 on my Mi 10T Pro and this is now on Android 11. A bunch of apps (e.g. messenger, tiny scanner) are not working as they would previosuly and the phone also is having random freezes and stutters. One more issue that i am grappling with is sudden loss of connectivity (voice) post the upgrade.
Any suggestions? This is my daily driver and i am unable to function properly. I don't even know how to wipe the system cache partition as the Mi Recovery only has a wipe data option and not a separate one for cache parition.
Please help.
regards,
Shuvo

You need to do a factory reset. It's a pretty well documented phenomenon that big OS updates literally destroys device's stability and usability.
I'd suggest you to back up all of your important data and do a data wipe inside of your recovery. It'll get miles better, trust me.

You should factory reset after a major OS update but you will lose data but you should backup just don't restore any system settings.I updated to a11 in Europe yesterday morning and did factory reset, Everything is working Great
The symptoms have been the same both times. For no discernable reason, suddenly my apps start malfunctioning and won't let me use them while I'm in the unlocked system. When I lock the screen or reboot, it goes to the lockscreen as normal but won't let me unlock using my pincode. I boot into TWRP and it too fails to decrypt the system using my pincode. I dirty flash the same version of Android I'm currently on Tamien 9.0.0 (PQ3A.190801.002, Aug 2019) without the -w flag, and it still won't let me in.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is my phone itself dying and the memory corrupting randomly? Is an app doing this? Magisk?
Full details of my setup are:
Pixel 2 XL (direct from google version), Android 9.0.0, factory image PQ3A.190801.002, Aug 2019, TWRP 3.5.0_9.0, Magisk 22
I didn't have any issues with this until about 2 weeks ago.
greetings to all. I decided to try to put pixel experience on my device (I had no dealings with custom firmware before). I put the plus version on android 12 first, as a result, the phone stopped detecting SIM cards and finding wifi (wifi is turned on, but it does not find the network). after that, I tried to install an earlier version of this firmware; the standard version of the 12 android (without plus) and the version on the 11 android - the same problem everywhere. moreover, on both versions of android 12, the data transfer icon was not displayed (just an oval with an arrow, without an antenna icon - sit and think what a button). I put MIUI back and everything works fine.
How to solve the problem, and finally feel the PE?
