It works perfectly on my S21FE global snapdragon version (G990B) after installing the April update. Attached a video for your clear understanding.

There is nothing mentioned about the image clipper feature on the update page. Update link:

To my understanding, it might also be related to the gallery version or the photo editor version... My phone has Gallery app version 14.1.03.1 and Photo Editor version 3.2.23.43. Do you have the same?

Never heard of thous firmware ?
where, how can i get them?
Noticed that as well.
Under Samsung Apps (under the Bell network in Canada anyhow), there's:
-----
CameraFirmware_SE
Version 10.9.07
Description:
This is a application to update [SEMCO + SONY] Camera Module.
-----
I haven't tried it either - the [SEMCO + SONY] made me hold off for now...but I now see that SEMCO is Samsung Electro-Mechanics - http://www.sem.samsung.com (component parts division).
Update:
Installing now...requires a reboot.
Haven't noticed anything different...
^^Waiting for report.

Sorry - after installing the app, you launch it and it does the update - afterward, the option appears to uninstall the app (which I did). Now the update no longer appears in Samsung Apps.
Trying to check the camera firmware doesn't tell me anything. Checking the Camera software and firmware versions under the application manager also doesn't appear to indicate any update - they both come up as v.1.0.
Hopefully someone else will be able to pull the apk before launching it.
No one else has noticed or tried this update?

the camera Firmware should be only about picture quality

Yeah, missing this too. Find it strange that not all Samsung One UI devices behave the same.

Samsung statement about missing Smart Capture on A50: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-a50-frequently-asked-questions/
Well this is just annoying! seemed like a pretty nice feature. looks like we get the middle device and lose out on a feature available for a cheaper phone
Funny cos last year's A series and J series had this feature. Samsung need to pay more attention to mid rangers
I just came from a S8+ that went bust and used the scrolling screenshot a lot. Very annoyed - actually upset - to find out only after purchasing the A50 that it doesn't support Smart Capture. I had asked the sales person who said it was certainly a setting to be activated. Had I known, I'd gone for the A70 ?...
Any chance that this might be part of a future update? Has that happened to other Samsung phone models?
Of course, the Galaxy A50 supports "Smart Capture" and works smoothly, including editing, trimming and sharing. You may not be able to enable this feature. Maybe this helps you:

I've managed to install the smart capture apk by installing it as a system app. The smart capture option now appears in settings, however it crashes if you try and use it as in the apk they have coded in a way to stop us using it. The error for the crash of smart capture reads "Feature not supported".

The Galaxy A50 got the June security update in India earlier this week, promising the usual stability improvements along with a variety of security patches. But as we’ve been tipped by one of our readers via Twitter, the update appears to include a couple of extra features that go by unmentioned in the changelog. Specifically, firmware version A505FDDU2ASF2 seems to bring along Night mode and Super Slow-mo video recording. In addition to that, the phone can now scan QR codes from the camera app without requiring Bixby Vision, a feature that recently came to the Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S10 as well.
Galaxy A50 owners in India who have updated to the June security patch but don’t have access to these two new camera features should try resetting their camera settings. This was also the case for the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A40, which received a regular slow-motion camera mode through a software update and required a reset of the camera settings before the mode was actually usable. You can reset camera settings by opening the camera app, tapping the gear icon to open camera settings, then hitting the Reset settings option found by scrolling all the way to the bottom.
The update also includes fixes to a variety of vulnerabilities; some found in the Android operating system while others are affecting Samsung’s own software experience. You can read all about them in the detailed June 2019 security patch report.
Readers who have not yet received the update on the Galaxy A50 in India should try navigating to the Settings » Software update menu and tap the Download and install option. Otherwise, users can also download the update manually from our firmware database and update the smartphone using Samsung Smart Switch on a computer.
Super slow-mo video? What's that, because we already have slow-mo now.

It doesn't matter if he copy pasted the link, atleast he shared it before you even stated about the link. You don't always have to bang on, peace out.
Btw, this update also brings super steady mode in video recording, which is a great feature to have.
( You'll need to reset the camera to get nightmode, Super slo mo & Super steady video as suggested )
There's also a new metering mode added in pro mode, Not sure if it was there previously!
Wifi calling toggle is also added in notifications bar.
Can't fine the Qr code scanner toggle in the notification bar.
Cheers

There is a reason why every online article attributes the source. All I requested him to do was to include the source link as it is copyrighted content and there are limitations to how much of the content you can copy-paste as-is without ownership.
Also, I posted about the firmware release 7-8 hours before this post in the Official Samsung firmware thread as I don’t want to create a new thread for every release. I wanted to share the new camera features with proof of what it does and hence didn’t create a thread about it.
For those interested in night mode, you can check a sample of it here.

O you'll be shocked that Gadgets ndtv, gsm arena etc all have the exact same post, btw software update info wouldn't be claimed under copyright anyhow.
Night mode seems to be good, though a bit grainy it seems. Super steady mode which is added also seems a great feature.

Haven't checked it yet, but with this release the QR scanner has been integrated in the camera app, so like iOS you just need to point the camera at a QR code for it to open a page. Earlier, it could only be done through Bixby Vision.

I always get a video of 8s 333ms with a bitrate of 11.5 Mb/s and a size of 11.5 MB. The minimum and maximum framerate is 30 as displayed in MediaInfo in my case. However, since Samsung advertises the Super Slow-mo as 960 fps for 0.4s on S10 and 0.2s on the S9, 480 fps for 0.4s on the A50 sounds more in line with what Samsung wants to achieve.
Update: Okay, it seems your values are from the edited portion of the super slow-mo video. I got a minimum rate of 14 and a maximum rate of 616 which constantly changes depending on the part of video edited and the lighting conditions. The average framerate for the super slow-mo section is 480 fps which is what is advertised by Samsung.

It seems like the phone is ever-so-slightly-slower following the Android 13/One UI 5 update.
Splash screens of various apps consistently appear for a few split seconds longer than before. In fact, at least one app that used to launched instantly now shows a splash screen for a fraction of a second before launching.
Is this just my experience, or do others see the same thing as well?

Thank you.
But I'm trying to figure out if the small slowdown after Android 13 update is an anomaly or if most people experience it. Do you?
My phone came with Android 13/OneUI 5 preinstalled, but I later received an update with January security patch and I started facing issues after that update.
The scrolling works very bad, its like there are some ghost touches. When I scroll thru WhtasApp/Telegram chats, photos in gallary, webpages the scroll sometimes doesn't work, just like the screen didn't even register my touch. If I try to scroll fast, the scroll stops in between, just like a ghost touch or something.
I was also facing issue with fingerprint scanner when the phone screen is off for some time, but I got it resolved by removing existing finterprints. and registering new ones.
The scroll issue is a real bummer for me. I hope it get fixed with the next OneUI 5.1 update.
In Addition to what I listed above, I faced one more strange issue today. I received the January security patch AGAIN today. It's like before, the download size, update description, all is same.
The previous January security patch update I got was installed successfully, I could see it in the software section, I am not sure why I received same update again.

Can someone here please confirm if you are able to scroll faster? I mean, I have my old OnePlus 6 with me. If I do a simple test to scroll once in a telegram chat, OnePlus scroll backs to more number of chat messages compared to S21FE. The S21FE just scrolls to few lines.

Yes. the scrolling on the S21 FE is much more stiff and "heavy" than my old J series Samsung phone. In addition, many screen taps aren't noticed by the phone, requiring me to tap again.
You should report it in the Samsung member app like I did. The more people who report these problems the bigger a chance that a patch will be issued.
