[Q] Did samsung remove the screen recorder?

In the first video we saw a feature to record the screen and sound making a video.
But now nobody have this feature on their phones?
I am missing anything or samsung finally removed this feature?

The video says, hit home+volume up to record.
It seems to also not be working right now.
This is damned odd to put stuff in your videos that aren't available.

i know which function he is referring to, but i can't understand how did he ascertain that 'nobody have this feature on their phones' ... ?

Because all the peoplethat I know or reviews I have seen online of the note 2, doesn't have this feature.
Maybe I am in a mistake, and simply the people doesn't know how to make it work, but if they removed it its a shame

oh alright... i didn't realize that there are quite a bunch of people who now have note2...
well, we can't be sure at the moment about removal of this feature, can we? not being able to work it out can be a possibility as well... time will tell...

Its not working on mine. Im trawling the forum puzzled as to why its not working samsung showed it off in there videos saying how useful it would be.... then removed it?

They were using this as a selling point before release, we have to hope it will come back like split - screen, maybe it was just not ready.

I was looking forward to this feature, sad to see it's not available.

The thread linked below goes into a bit more detail about it (not much more detail). It may come in an OTA... I'm guessing the kinks they are working out, as mentioned in that thread, is the ability to block the recording or movies from Netflix, and Play Store Movies, etc.

Samsung has officially announced in FAQ of Note II, that they have removed the feature of screen recording due to violation of terms in some countries, Samsung has removed this feature.

Same issue as call recording or camera shutter sound then I would guess. Can be enabled using the csc feature method maybe?
I would be interested in this feature to record skype calls, if thats how it works (ibhavent watched the video lol)
Maybe the feature can be extractd from one of the earliest ruu's? (If somebody knows what theyre doing there)

They just showed this feature in their youtube video but it was not available in any of the device but you can record screen using apps from play store.
Rec is the best app minimun requirements are android 4.4 and your phone must be rooted

Today I've update my phone twice..
Can someone translate for me the changelog ?
I'm from Romania and i have the Korean model v300s.
PS.
Does anyone know how to brig more languages to this version?
Too remove the Sk Telekom interfaced ?
Or how to make my lg smart world in another language then Korean :silly:

Only thing I see added by the second update is "Some apps now have the ability to vibrate after ringing."

After the first update the camera was visible much better but after the second update not so good.
It sims more fluid the interface..there were an update for the home too

Probably the same, I would think. Just LG firmware update -- not Android OS updates. It's already on the latest version of Nougat. Oreo wouldn't be rolling out yet.

Got the update too. So nice to see that LG doesn't have the same ****ty deal as Huawei phones do where u need sim cards from the region it got bought to update the firmware...

It seems a little more responsive.
The screen is better.
So far so good

No updates to LG V30 H930 yet.. Come on LG...

ahhhhh okay .. thanks for responding anyway and please can u tell me about the period when you have it,did u face some problems with the screen .. is-it as good as samsung amoled display ?? and please did u have a fm radio preinstalled or did you get it to work with other app like nextradio ??

Display was ok..no problem ..but samsung has a diferent display..my personal preferante was lg..and i had the korean verdion with no radio....i did not try another app for radio

Wallpaper Changes on Wakeup and Scroll Capture

I just got my a50 and noticed that it would change wallpapers every time the phone woke, is there a way to do this with a custom album?
Second question, is there a way to "scroll captures" so on a webpage you can extend screen shots. I know this has been a function on a few Samsung phones I've had but can't see how to do it on this phone.

Must be. Thanks for the help

Have a look in Settings, Advanced Features to see if Smart Capture is there.
If not then as madd0g says it hasn't been enabled in your region.

Galaxy watch with other android

hi guys I'm looking at switching to the xperia mk2 but I love my galaxy watch will it be fully compatible with the xperia will everything work as it does now with my note 10?
Also will I still have access to all the watch faces to download ect

This is my personal experience when I paired GW with Lenovo P2
It appeared that watch e-mail app ( which is not standalone app - just hook to phone app ) works only with Samsung native app in the phone
Text messaging works but is limited to ordinary notifications

Do you have LTE GW ? - maybe this is the explanation. E-mail app in the watch is standalone then. That would make sense.

Download the same Samsung health app and enjoy all about health, Bluetooth should allow with tethering internet, and galaxy store will works in watch only

yes i have the lte version but i use gmail and i can read them on my watch but you are correct i cant use the native email that is on the watch but i think you can download the samsung email from the app store nope you cant so you are right there is better integration if you have a samsung phone

Galaxy Note 10+ One UI 3.1 All The Features

Review: Initially I noticed minor stutters whenever I swipe the page or launch the app. After wiping the cache from recovery, it fixed the issue! The update isn't major but has some nice features.
Two things to note, there's no Google Discovery nor Object Eraser.

There is an app on PlayStation called Samsung update checker. Download that and install and search for updates and you will find them. I am on the exynos Note 10+ . Cheers!!

Does anyone know if we will get the feature to crop a detail in the picture such as S20/S21 series ?
It is available on my S20+ but not on my Note 10+ :|

Not all the improvements of the S21 are activated on the Note 10 + in version UI 3.1
The photo gallery does not have the "delete object" improvements and the menu does not display the "labs tools" option..
