I've been trying to run the ambient music mod on my phone but everytime I use shizuku it says I need to enable developer options. But it's already on. What should I do?
try disable and enable again
sometimes switches need that

Hi,
On my Nexus (i9250, stock ROM rooted), I used to select the "stay awake" option from the dev menu and it was working perfectly, but suddenly (as far as I know, not related with any update), the option has been disabled.
Could someone explain me why and how to reactivate it ?
Sorry, I can't post an image yet (too new on the forum)
Thanks
Diego
i don't know about that option, but to keep my screen on if i have pandora or anything and i don't want it to go to sleep after the set amount of time, i downloaded screen timeout toggle. works great, but it's just another app running in the background instead of letting us decide if we don't want our display to turn off after a certain amount of time.
Hi,
Blocking mode allows a few settings. I can set it to block incoming calls, turn off notifications, and turn off the alarm and timer. I can also add contacts to be let through, even when blocking mode is turned on. I was wondering if there is a way to exclude specified apps from blocking mode.
My wife has a pretty specific need. She want to enable blocking mode, while leaving alarms and timers enabled. The problem is, she doesn't want to use the stock timer, because she doesn't like the ringtone that it uses and she wants to specify her own. She uses a separate timer app.
Questions:
1. Is there any way to specify the ringtone used for the default timer app?
2. Is there a way to specify applications that can ignore blocking mode?
3. Is there an app that mimics blocking mode, but allows applications to bypass it?
Thanks
Does anyone know how to set up a task to turn on do not disturb, or priority only, or whatever it's called? Coming from htc, you could just tell tasker to turn the volume all the way down or turn on silent mode. Can't seem to duplicate that on the g4. I'm using smart settings now, but the results are inconsistent.
i think you need secure settings (plugin, playstore) to archive this
In Tasker, there's an option for Audio > Interrupt Mode - in there you can choose Priority or All. This should do what you want.
I have Tasker setup to mute the phone just before and just after the "battery full" sound plays, as it cannot be disabled (without root).

Perfect, thanks. And I was using a task to turn off the battery full sound also, until I realized that I can just keep the volume level for "touch feedback and system" all the way down. That gets rid of the battery full sound along with some of the other ones that were bothering me.
My favorite g4 tasker workarounds are to set up a task to turn the volume all the way back up again after I plug in headphones and it automatically turns down the volume "to protect my hearing", and adding an icon in the status bar whenever it's charging because I need a visual confirmation that it's still plugged in and I can't make out that lightning bolt in the default battery icon.
Came from nexus6p. Usually I set tasker profile to trigger the work location and then put the phone to vibration mode automatically. However, it failed on the new oneplus 5T. Is there any way to do that without manually push the alter slider?
It should work the same on 5T. Make sure you gave tasker all access (i.e. usage access, notification access)

Unfortunately not. Takser has given all access. but if the alter slide in bottom postion, the ringstone volume cannot down to 0. while if the alter slide in top and middle, you cannot enable ring.
You can set Do Not Disturb mode to Alarms with Tasker and your phone will be silent with vibration turned on.
Hello,
Is there any way to make some applications to bypass DND mode and work normally even when DND is enabled?
On my previous phone i could for example select Instagram video calls to bypass DND mode , now there is no such option.
I guess its due to the different android version but is there a way?
Thanks in advance for your help
I haven't found such option in the settings, but you might do a workaround with Tasker (intercept selected notifications, turn off DND, push custom notification with sound, turn DND on again).
