Hi guys,
today in the morning my Poco F3 seems to be suddenly dead...
I was communting and listening to Spotify as i heard a strange noise in my headsphones.
I pulled out the F3 and it seems to be restarting but it hung at the very beginning at the start where the Poco logo is shown.
It looked strange because the Poco logo had sone kind of red/orange glow arround and a little more down on the screen a multicolor stripe was shown.
So i long-pressed the powerbutton, the phone started again and it hung shortly at the Poco logo again and then directly shut down.
Since then there was no more sign of life....
When connectimg the Poco to a powerbank the LEDs of the powerbank appear but i don´t know if
this is not just because of the USB-connection.
Now i connected it for about an hour to a wallplug but nothing...
Is there anything i can do to bring it back to live or at least get to the data?

when you hold down the power button for a length of time can you feel/hear the vibration motor, try connecting to a PC and enter fastboot,
by pressing the Power and volume down buttons and release the power button after a few seconds and check to see if it is recognised.
I brought my F3 in the UK and it comes with 24 months warranty,
I hope you sort it.
Thanks for your reply.
But as i mentioned, theres absolutely nothing. I can press the powerbutton as long as i like, nothing.
Connecting the device to the PC also does simply nothing.
try another power adapter if still nothing hardware related probably motherboard
Were you charging your phone during your commute?
Something similar happened to me on a X3 NFC, nothing help. A year later I connected the phone to charger and everything is working now.
I assume it is out of warranty, if so remove the back disconnect the battery press the power button to drain any excess power, reconnect the battery plug the USB-C lead back in and hope you see life,
if not it looks like you need to get it professionally repaired,

Try holding down both volume buttons and power for like 2 minutes straight

Hello,
I'm a new user and this is my first post here. I felt the need to "contribute" with my somewhat of a unique case.
I bought the Xperia SL 48h ago, and managed to "brick" it. The phone just died on me during regular use, I was in astro manager at the moment of the brick, the screen gradually turned off, and the phone became unresponsive soon afterwards. It didn't react when I plugged in the charger or when I connected it to my pc, the LED was dead, power + vol up button combo was also useless, and the pc saw my device as "QHSUSB_DLOAD".
I managed to solve this issue by holding power + vol up button combination for four (4!) minutes. I didn't really have a stopwatch, but I was in the bus on road to the store to return the phone, and just thought I might give persistence and stubbornness a chance. Three bus stops later, the phone vibrates and just turns on normally, like nothing happened.
I don't know how bugs like this occur, nor do I know how to prevent them; I am going to pretend this was just a work of gremlins.
Bottom line - if power on + vol up button combo didn't work for you for a 5 second, 10 second or a 30 second time-span, hold them buttons for a couple of minutes and pray that it works. I hope this helps someone.
Best regards
Did it have enough charge?

Seems your phone got stuck and turned the screen off.
Holding power+volume Up forces it to shutdown without messing with the battery-removal.
So you might have been able to restart it successfully.

The battery was at 14% at the time of power+vol up wake up. I didn't charge it though, I plugged in the charger just to see if there was a LED on, but there wasn't any LED response whatsoever.

That must be it. At the moment of the brick, screen gradually turned off, with darker colors becoming instantly black, and brigther colors getting a yellow tint just before everything vanished from the screen. Thing is though, the phone didn't react to the power+vol up combo right away, but two hours later and almost four minutes of holding the buttons.
One more thing that I noticed was, when the phone was connected to my pc, if I held the power+vol up, the pc would add/remove my hardware in a cycle, or at least play the sound of a device connected/disconnected. The phone still remained dead, but returned later for a miraculous wake up.

I'm not an expert, but this is probably your phone entering fastboot mode and then being disconnected due to incorrect drivers on the PC.
Glad your phone came back though. Comatose phones are terrifying, no?

I'm not out of the woods yet.
Got myself a second brick, and I've been trying to work it out for the past 24+ hours. I won't post about it on this thread, I've posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39847797&postcount=532 , but I will report back with any advancements on the matter.
Hi, was wondering if anyone else has/had similar issues?
Got the Galaxy Tab S today and was spending time setting it up. Connected to the PC and charge was at about 57%. Suddenly the window displaying tablet contents on the PC disappeared and the screen went black.
The power button didn't turn the screen back on. I held it down, thinking that it required a hard reset but nothing happened. I disconnected the tablet from my pc and went to use it's dedicated charger. The battery icon came up, stating it was 57% charge, and shortly after the LED light on the back of the tablet started flashing rapidly. I quickly took out the cable.
I've tried holding down the home key, volume down, and power button and nothing happens. I then tried the same and having a finger on the screen. Then I repeated the process again with the cable connected to the charger, and then computer.
No matter what I try, the device won't turn on and the LED keeps flashing repeatedly when connected with usb charging cable. I also tried using another cable.
I'm thinking of phoning up where I got it from tomorrow and asking for a replacement, unless there's something I'm missing here?
Any thoughts would be great, thanks.
My guess would be, you are not pressing the buttons correctly.

I tried that just now. Nothing happens.
How about pressing power, vol up and down, home huttons at the same time for 1 minute

That doesn't work either. The only response I get from the tablet is by plugging in the charging cable and then it goes on to display an epileptic inducing light show with the LED constantly flashing on and off

Never seen this problem before. Could be a bad partition making it not boot. Replacement may be your answer as its better to get a new one and be safe.

I've used various tablets before and never encountered any of them not booting at all. The led flashing business is very weird. I'll phone up the store I got it from and ask if I can get a replacement.
Thanks for the responses
Galaxy A50, circle with lightning bolt (battery low icon) when trying to power on, with full load, is not connected to the load https: //youtu.be/h0lnht5kdew
with low load, is not connected to the load https: //youtu.be/kp7OQXETyXc
When the phone is shut down and i am trying to power on, This icon shows up first on long pressing the power buton. Then pressing the power button second time switches the phone on. Any idea? (Ps- showing this even when battery is charged. Basically on every boot)
I have already replaced the firmware It always appears,
Sorry My English
I have same thing with grey circle and lighting while powering on. Any ideas???
I have the exact same issue on my A50
I Have the exact same issue, did you solved it? Could this be a firmware bug or hardware issue? The phone has updated several times but the issue still persists
Thanks
You're Not Alone..
I Just Did A 14 Day Exchange With My Original Unit...
And It Literally Happened On The 14th Day...
It Got to the point where you needed to have it connected to a charger just to power it on...
That Should Get You Guys Going... :good:
But I now fear... this is a "Luck-Of-The-Draw" situation..
And may happen any time to any unit.. even though my New Replacement Unit seems just fine so far..
My Advice would be for everyone to shut your unit Off and On at least 50 times... to see if your device triggers this Horrific Issue..
Between this fear and the Bluetooth issue of Cutting In and Out... that also seems to persist on most units, I may do an upgrade to an S-Class Unit..
F.Y.I. My Unit is an Xfinity-Class A50u..
This is happening to several A50 users...
but there is no way to fix it :crying:

Shure it is. Return to Samsung service point.
im a samsung a50 user and the only ways i know to turn it on is. 1. turn on while charging 2. power on and volume down pressed together. i could say this malfunction started when i broke my fast chargin adapter and used another samsung non fast adapter.
samsung A50 problem with lighting bolt while turn it on
I have exactly the same problem while trying to turn it on. I complaines several times to the oficial service, they replaced it with a new one, as it was under quarantee, and from the first time I turned it off and on, the same thing happened. It takes 5-20 efforts before it turns on.
I complained again, to the Customer Service of Samsung this time, but they have done nothing so far.
Any ideas of solving it..?
I have a samsung A50.It worked fine for a year after I had purchased it.now my warranty period has been exceeded and it is showing the same issue as above. My fast charging adapter worked in good condition when I first encounter this issue.(when I pressed power button phone didn't turn on and there was the symbol of lighting bolt and the circle.)so I connected my phone to charger and pressed the power button.then phone switched on. But after that my phone didn't charge using the fast charging adapter.so I reset my phone too.every time I switch on my phone by pressing the power button same thing happens and phone isn't turning on.only way to turn on is connect to the charger(new fast charging adapter) and pressing the power button.if any one has a fix for this please reply....
Yes full charge
Yes watch video
So it has been 2 years since my M8 got hard bricked, however staying home during this quarantine got me thinking if i could try and fix it or not, so 2 years ago
i took my M8 out of my pocket it was not responding and slow so i restarted it and since them all my phone shows is a black screen, when i try to charge it the battery icon doesn't appear still the same black screen, just for a brief second after plugging it to charge the orange light up there flickers and then nothing more, when i connect it to the pc it's recognized as qualcomm hs-usb.
My M8 was with unlocked bootloader, but S-ON, had TWRP installed on it.
Maybe you can replace a new battery, which will give a hope.
Exactly the same issue here, but tried a new battery, no go. Have you managed to find anything since last April ?
When the brown light blinks and doesn't turn on it usually means the battery is too low to turn on the phone to display that its charging, normally it takes a few seconds or minutes depending on your charger, if it does turn on in a few minutes in my experience it means your battery is dead.
Another trick I was told about is holding the power and volume down button for 15secs while plugged in then hold the power button for 10secs.

Any chance you could confirm that when plugged in to the pc it's recognized as qualcomm hs-usb. I got a feeling the bootloader got creamed, i believe it should be showing up as a HTC something...

Have you tried to leave it in the charger and see if the blinking brown light turns green indicating full charge, alteast that way you can rule the battery out as the problem.
From the little googling this is the best answer I could find

Thanks for helping, i''ll fiddle some more with it once I find some Schematics.
Hi!
Today i was transferring some video clips from my Red Magic 5g to my laptop. Suddenly my sceen froze and turned black. I disconnected it from the USB cable but i still could hear the phone fan turning. The screen is still black and i have no idea on what to do. I haven't rooted my phone, i only use it to play and record gameplays for my YouTube channel. I hope you guys can have an idea on why this happened and how to fix it. Have a good day!
What happened? Hope you got to resolve the issue.
What I would have done in your place would have been to wait 20-30 minutes if it doesn't revert, press and hold power button till it force-restarts
try to put it to a charger or computer to determine if it hangs or it's status; or just do a hard reboot as Serdang just said and see!
