Question [CLOSED] Battery drain - Xiaomi 11T

Hello!! I have the Xiaomi 11T and after updating from miui 12.5 to miui 13 there is more battery drain when using and when not using the phone. When i go to battery settings , i see that screen consumes a lot of power , even if the screen is off!!
Will the factory reset work?

I have the latest MIUI 14 Indonesian and I am experiencing the same battery draining issue. I've created a Thread. Maybe you will have a look at it.

Android 11 update and Google Play Services Error

Hello,
Recently I have received MIUI 12.1.1 Stable update with Android 11.0 into my Redmi K30 5G device (China ROM). Since then some apps (like- GBoard and certain ride sharing apps) keep showing errors - "This application requires Google Play Services, which is not installed in your system" and simply keeps crashing.
However I have latest Google Play Services (version 20.42.65) and Google Play Store (version 22.8.42) installed and most of the apps are working fine.
I can't understand what's the real issue here!
Does those applications don't have Android 11 support yet or something like that? or is it a bug of MIUI 12.1.1 ROM?

i was using the china rom and i had some error too, with the keyboard, sync, wifi debugging and etc . last friday i installed xiaomi.eu, working fine with magisk, adblock. i do recomend installing it, cause china rom is kinda limited. its a simple process, require some pacience and time, but likely in 30 minutes you will be using w/ every bloatware you can have from google.

Thanks for suggestion, but actually unlocking the bootloader is not an option for me. Also China ROM receive faster updates.

Miui 12.1.6 RGICNXM seems to work ok google services framework 11 which previously would return a provider conflict error on earlier chinese rom necessitating the use of GSF 10 that may or may not be the cause of some google apps to not work e.g google meet. You could probably try updating if flashing the eu rom is not an option.
Hello Everyone,
I too had the same issues.
I am currently using Redmi K30 5g(China ROM).
I had received an update from Xiaomi regarding Android 11.
After updating I had the same issues as you.
Best Option:
Unlock Bootloader and downgrade to Android 10 version update.
Your phone will be working fine then.
For Redmi K30 5g(CHINA ROM) I would suggest downgrading to MIUI 12.0.7.
The problem would be solved.
NOTE:
Don't forget to lock the bootloader again.
Do not update your phone again till the problem is solved.

Update from MIUI 12.0.8 Stable to 12.0.1?

Dear Mi 10T lite community,
I am new to Xiaomi, originally coming from a OnePlus phone.
This is a Mi 10T lite phone bought in Germany from a German carrier.
Even before installing my personal data and apps, I had updated to the latest global version 12.0.8.0 of the Xiaomi stock ROM.
Today I get the notification, that the second (first after real install) update is available and my phone wants up UPDATE from 12.0.8 to 12.0.1 !?!?
What kind of update is this. The version number is being reduced?
The patch level is said to increase from January 2021 to February 2021, which sounds okay.
The current ROM (12.0.8) is Android 10 based. The new ROM (12.0.1) claims to be "Stable MIUI based on Android 11". Is this the upgrade to Android 11? I thought the Update to Android 11 will be with MIUI 12.5 in summer!?
Would you advise to upgrade this stock ROM? -- For me this sounds strange. On OnePlus I have always relied on the ROM upgrades. What about this?
Thank you for any advise in advance!
Best regards
Ethan

If you notice that the update ROM has R instead of Q in the string *JSEUXM that denotes next update - R follows Q. The numbering is for Miui version 12 and the iteration .0.1 means it's the first one in this R cycle.
And it is android 11. Going to install it myself - if it's now out of beta and ota'ing

Hello Gazblade,
thank you very much. This is quite interesting. I had only looked at the "human readable" part of the version number, not at the "machine readable" part.
You are right. This is an update from QJSEUXM to RJSEUXM and thus it should be a new version. It is good to learn the "Xiaomi-style".
Nevertheless it should NOT mean, that their GUI, MIUI is downgraded to an earlier version from 12.0.8 to 12.0.1. This is intriguing.
Obviously the third digit of the MIUI version number has nothing to do with respect to the currentness of Xiaomi's GUI software. Right?
Also the text "based on Android 11" is at least misleading.
Nevertheless, based on your feedback, I will try the update later.
Have a great day!
Best regards
Ethan
Just a note for "Based on Android 11" - it is important because you can have MIUI 12 based on Android 9 or Android 10 or Android 11. Most of the features will be shared among different Android versions, with some exceptions (or freshly introduced underlaying Android bugs/design changes).

I am not sure whether I got the point. Xiaomi had offered "MIUI 12.0 based on Android 11" for my Android 10 phone and this upgrade MIUI 12.0 is still using (or based on) Android 10.
Android 11 will come with MIUI 12.5 Right?
Thus does this "based on" read "has been compiled with Android 11"? Or "Is running on Android 11 and older"?
I had planned to install the update tonight, but in the meantime the OTA update disappeared again and is no longer found by the Xiaomi updater! What a strange policy.
Has the "R" version been withdrawn and is back to beta status?
With my old OnePlus updates were pretty straight-forward. I do not understand the Xiaomi update policy until now...

MIUI is only skin (albeit quite heavy) on the top of Android. Xiaomi decided to offer the same MIUI version on top of more than one Android version. So our phone came with MIUI 12 + Android 10 and now it's being upgraded to MIUI 12 + Android 11. Next major upgrade will be MIUI 12.5 + Android 11. But it's possible that Xiaomi will offer also MIUI 12.5 + Android 10 for other (older) phone models..
It can be a bit confusing, but you don't need to stress too much about it.
The Update to 12.0.1.0 RJSEUXM is back and I have downloaded the OTA update already. Currently I am charging my phone before applying the update. -- Be safe. At least on the battery.
Did anybody already apply this update to Android 11?
There are so many rumors about problems with this update, but there are not many clear facts.
Would you recommend adopting to Android 11 already now or wait for MIUI 12.5?

I will put it this way. For every bigger Android update there are a bunch of people who hate it and they will make a lot of noise on forums. They don't like some design changes or cosmetic bugs. Most people are not bothered by them or they barely notice them. Of course that there is always a chance of serious bugs, but problematic updates are usually pulled down quickly and the information is often covered in articles (on XDA or similar pages). There is no known serious bug in this update and it's considered as a safe update. I am very sure that MIUI 12.5 update will be "the worst update in the history of all updates" for some people (like it was with MIUI 12 or MIUI 11; or Android 11 or Android 10 etc.)..
I updated one or two weeks ago and except already mentioned misaligned (but still functional) text in notifications I haven't noticed anything worth mentioning. I personally recommend the update, but as always, YMMV..

I have just updated to 12.0.1.0.RJSEUXM. My Mi 10T lite is now running Android 11 absolutely flawlessly. Good recommendation! And probably a very correct explanation in your message above.
Could someone upload and share the MiQT Lite XQCN file (EEA or Global)? I need this file to test some things on my 9 Pro 5G.

Any MIUI rom without xiaomi's bloatware?

Hey guys, after 2 years i've finally unlocked my bootloader and i've had installed pixel experience, but PE it has a lot of bugs and crashes. Sometimes i want go back to MIUI but it has so much bloatwares and the update system is so slow (i still think we wont get MIUI 12.5 and android 12 on the future). So my question is this: does anyone know a MIUI rom that doesnt have xiaomi's bloatwares (default apps, mi browser, mi pay, mi fit, my etc...)?

Normally Miui can't be without bloatware. But in the past I had some experience with Mi-Globe rom.
You can create a customized Miui build without some of the specific miui apps.
Choose "Show all settings" to see what you want to skip or add
But as Loopypalm said you better could try first Resurrection Remix based on Andoid 10.

Question OxygenOS 12 C.60

May 19, 2022:
OnePlus is starting rolllout of a new system update for the OnePlus 9 series. It comes with version C.60 and measures over 1.5GB.
The latest OTA brings a couple of multitasking improvements and adds some connectivity and gaming features. However, the May security patch is still not available for the phones. You can read the full changelog below.
Convenience & efficiency
You can now open up to 3 apps in floating windows at the same time in Split-screen mode and switch between Floating window and Split screen modes
You can now use the Clock app in Quick Return
Connectivity
You can now open up to 3 phone windows on your PC
Games
Adds the HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer
Heterogenous graphics: Reduces gaming loads and power consumption (only for some games)
As always, this OTA will be incremental. It will reach a small percentage of users initially. A broader rollout should start in a few days.
To check if an update is available, head to Settings > System > System updates on your device.

First rom with no gaming throttling.
India only. Miss the days when OnePlus would release one global rom or atleast global and India the same day.
It showed as a full rom over here, so you can jump directly from 11 to c60 and no need to go to 47 anymore.

I wonder if I flash the india C.60 ROM on my EU L2123 will it transform my device into an indian variant, or will it stay EU L2123 ?
My EU unit LE2123, i flashed the Global C48, no issues there. Yesterday when i flashed the Indian C60 the device is no longer certified under - Google PlayStore. Hence can't setup new cards. Cleared the Google Play services and playstore cache and data, rebooted the device but the issue still exists.
Any solution?
Device is non rooted and bootloader is locked.

There is no workaround for that unless you Root your device and add the universal safety net magisk module and hide root afterward in Zygisk from play services and playstore.

thanks for your response, i'll wait for the next full OTA zip for either of the regions and then flash it. I don't wana root my device as its my primary driver.
Still no update other than in India for almost 2 weeks now. OnePlus really seems to only care about India now. All of their phones seen to have this issue now.
Anyone running this on a global 9 or 9 Pro unit? I flashed it and had to use the TMO COS/OOS data retention fix since it thought my device was dual SIM but I lost 5G and WiFi calling on T-Mobile in the process. Just curious if anyone was able to get these things working before I go through the arduous task of a factory reset. If not, I can live without them for now.
Edit: Cannot pass SafetyNet either. I have tried universal SafetyNet fix, I have tried Shamiko, and I have tried props config. I have only ever had to use the universal fix before so no idea why I can't pass the CTS Profile.

Battery problem after factory reset on Redmi Note 8

Hi guys
I have a Redmi Note 8 Miui 12.0.2 Indonesia and when i was on Miui 11.0.3 Indonesia I did a factory reset a few months ago and right after the factory reset the battery consumption has increased and before the factory reset the battery had no problems, I changed the ROM twice, once global and once Miui 11.0.3 Indonesia, but it didn't work, someone told me to install miui 12.0.2 and the phone updater had given the update and I updated it and the problem was not solved again. My screen time from 100% to 20% is just 3 and half hours. I don`t know what to do. Once again my battery had no any problems before the factory reset. I don`t know how is this possible to factory reset couse of battery problem. please give me a solution.

This happened exactly after the factory reset, if the battery had problem, it would have shown itself before the factory reset too. Someone who have RN8 and had battery problem like me and he installed custom rom and problem not solved, he changed his battery but again his problem not solved. somebody have RN8 Pro and he changed his battery too and his screen time was like me.
I have global version. I had some trouble with battery drain (new battery) under miui 12.5 and crdroid 8.10. I tried to roll back to miui 12.0.6 (android 10) and sadly bricked it, so I had to reflash using edl (guide is available on the forum). It took long time but I got it working again with miui 12.0.6 with a much better battery life.
So be prepared before you downgrade, download all the tools and full rom (fastboot) before proceeding.
