I still have Android 12 April 2022 firmware on my A52s and from what I'm reading the newer Android 13 updates are quite experimental that come with a lot pros and cons, is any firmware worth updating or should I keep my old one? Perhaps waiting a few months until a better solution comes out? What's your opinion on this? Thanks in advance

What is experimental with Android 13? It works almost flawlessly on my A52s, waiting for One UI 5.1 right now. Everything stock, everything works. Don't even feel the need to debloat.
Camera performance during video is choppy (like 10fps during preview, standard 30fps during playback).
Fingerprint sensor does not turn off the blue light filter sometimes and thus does not always work.
I have clean flashed Android 13 (after OTA updated caused the same issues) but it did not help with the fingerprint issue. The camera issue was gone for a while but it came back.
What do you think of this result so far?

What do you base that on? Some of the sites that mention Lineage 15 if you google it? If the maintainer of the device decides to work on Lineage 15 it will come.
I found some sites claiming to know what devices that will get Lineage 15... They probably just guess and have the Lineage 15 stuff written as clickbait.

So:
I'm running now Los 15.1 on my n9005.
It was not a straightforward install.
I had to upgrade bootloader/modem, carefully choose the correct gapps and root only worked with magisk.
It seems to be a really good and super usable rom, excellent usability.
Anyway, I had a classic 8.1 oreo Bluetooth issue - phone calls are noisy/unusable; audio/music/pairing is ok.
What's the right place to report bugs about this awesome rom?
Hello guys,
I recently got my phone from Flipkart on discount and I was tempted to install Oreo and so I did. Now it suffices to say the battery backup is absolutely horrible (among other issues of course). Barely lasting me 12 hrs with average daily usage, certainly much less than what 4000 mAh battery should provide.
So people who're lucky enough to still be on EMUI 5.1, is the battery backup satisfactory?
If that is the case, I might consider rolling back.

Why would you want to be still on Nougat? Battery life has never been an issue for me

Then perhaps the Oreo rom of Indian unit (C675) is not optimised. I assume your unit is German.
Also, cool theme... Suggest which one?
The theme is this one:

New ota build is rolling out in india named 11.2.4.4. The changelog is listed in the screen shot . It claims to optimize the over sharpening in photos, and by far it seems like they actually fixed the over sharpening problem.

Hello everyone. On YouTube I saw some videos where it was possible to activate the 120Hz frequency on the screen. I had already tried it when I had Android 11 mounted on the phone, but it didn't work. So, since I have now updated to Android 12, and to be honest, I don't like that much, I would like to go back to Android 10 to be able to take advantage of the 120Hz screen function. Is it possible to downgrade 2 operating systems?
Nope, not possible to get back to 10...
Maybe....maybe 11 if you're 'lucky'
However 120hz will never work on this phone... the mod your thinking of made the option show, but it didn't actually change the refresh rate.
The Note 10 and 10+ do not have a 120Hz capable display. Display refresh rate is a hardware capability; going back to 10 won't do anything.
Ok, thanks for the clear answers. Oh well, I'll try to go back to Android 11 anyway, because I just can't see 12, it gets on my nerves!

Highest I'll go is Android 10.
The bootloader version dictates how far you can roll back.
In this case my bootloader version is 2 on this Android 9 variant.

I have the same question
I think you should consider a few things before migrating to A12, first and foremost:
The look: If you're happy with the look of the A11, stay there. Because A12 is totally different, bigger icons, "warmer" colors, all or most of the colors are pastel.
Something that you should take into account is that eventually most applications will start to change their appearance in order to become more familiar with A12.
Me, I've been considering going back to A11, but I'm afraid of bricking.
DO NOT upgrade to Android 12.
Take it from someone that upgraded his G60s to A12 last week and it's now considering moving to Samsung.
Android 12 has come with some deal breaking bugs that Motorola ain't likely to fix.
From the UI perspective I like A12 more, but what's that good for if the OS does not work well.
Hello. What kind of bugs do you talk about?
I'm on the way to buy this phone to replace my buggy, slow Nokia G20.
Maybe a custom ROM with Android 12 can solve those bugs, but I don't know.
well i have upgraded to the latest software version avaliable for the moto g60 and after few minor security update the phone looks good and the battery life is stable as you can expect from and android phone there where few bugs at the beginning but the security update have fix them all
and even if there is some issue still left after the latest update the phone is still going to get security update i think you should be good to go to update your device at least on a Indian rom it is stable
i hope this help
